OK, just finished breakfast so let me try again!!!  In my first post I mentioned it was good bigkat got a message last night about no school today instead of waking up to an early call telling you that you can go back to bed....ha!!  And, then you can't!! 😁

And, Tootie, no bad weather in my area (I am north of city) although it was windy with light snow all afternoon.  The area hit the worst was south of city and into Indiana (also up into lower Michigan).  That is why I watch the weather reports so carefully before traveling that way.

LOL on taking my pick of drinks this morning.....could have poured some vodka in my OJ!  I did have a nice brunch yesterday.....two hours of gab, gab and could have stayed longer...guess we should meet more often.  My Three Amigos are such a joy (most of the time).......first one off bus comes running to give me a big hug.....just what I need waiting in the cold.  They are very happy, well behaved boys......but they have their fights too!  QM is sounding well on phone.  I hope she starts getting stronger each day.  I am going forward on plans for her birthday....working on a photo collage.

This is getting long so better go for now.....Tootie, are things getting back to normal there?  Do you have many things to take care of from your FIL?

Happy Thursday to all!  Drink up....ha.......

Hi everyone!  More rain and ickiness here....but at least the temps are mild.

What's with all the booze?  I have a neighbor who's a shut-in - she has COPD - and she asked if I could pick up an order at the liquor store for her that she called in.  I agreed, figuring it was maybe a bottle of wine, but holy cow - there was more liquor there than I've probably drunk in my entire life!  She said it would last her a year, but should someone with COPD be drinking????

25 more days 'til spring!   Cat Indifferent

H = Hot peppers (and more booze)

Hi FHG ... the booze thing wasn't planned, it just happened with each letter ... doesn't sound like a good idea to drink with COPD, but maybe it helps your neighbor deal with it??!!

walker, we have things like the house/belongings to take care of, but add to the mix, my DH's sister who hasn't been around much, stroll back into the picture and try to take over ... things are being kept under control and moving along nicely ....

glad you had a good visit with the Amigos ... they sound so cute!! ... and I am keeping QM in my prayers ... she will be so surprised at her 100th!!

We ended up getting a couple of inches of snow and it is cold out ...

Have a good night ....

PS ~ kittyfan, you are right ... we need Kathy!!

Good morning ~  It's always something - my aunt used to say.  It's not what it is, it's how you react to it.  Easier said than done of course.  FHG, I feel for your neighbor - as Tootie said, it may help her to deal with things.

walker, I am excited for you and QM - 100 years!  SIL's great grandmother turned 100 last year and is still pretty spry.  I like the collage idea too.

I am hearing things about the weather that make me very glad I am where I am.  Lots of stuff in the Gulf Coast as well.  Fortunately, we are not close to any of it and will be a cool 65 today.  Lots of baby sightings.  The horses and dogs (and me too!) are loving this little one (from our side of the fence).

J = juice for our mimosas tomorrow

Good Morning Friends!

Tootie and Cookie, you are both sharp, as always, especially in the morning......good I, J and K!  I like the themes we hit on once in awhile....fun challenge.....remember our candy one?

Spring is in the air here and we will have a mild 50/maybe 60 weekend!   Part of Springtime is definitely watching those baby animals around you, cookie.  Cute!  Too bad we can't share pics here.

Tootie, always a little family drama, eh?  I think that happens in every family.  I am glad things are moving along ok though.

BAT tomorrow......I am ready and was going to ask if we could have a chocolate fest.....fitting for end of February!! Had to edit to say.....I will bring strawberries for dipping and, of course, champagne for mimosas!  Bigkat has QA all cleaned up and ready to fly.....who needs a ride?

Happy Friday!

Robins, Robins Everywhere!!!  Hi again.....just had to return after watching about a dozen robins in my backyard.   I know some tend to stick around during winter but they are back in full force.  I felt like one looked in my kitchen window saying..."got any worms?"....One Robin looked like he/she fell into a bucket of white paint....white/brown feathers but red breast!  Odd.....maybe a "Senior Bird" ....ha!  Anyone else, in north, spot them yet?

Happy Friday!!!

We had flocks of robins like that the past couple of bad winters, not this year though. We have had albino robins here before.

Fun time preparing for 100 years!!!

Tootie, seems there is always that one person in the family. Hope all is and will go well.

I need a pick up tomorrow!! I'll lug along the chocolate fountain...and some chocolate liqueur.

Enjoy the evening!!
