Hi! Happy New Year!!! Our float was well received and of course the firepit kept us warm. We were the envy of the parade. bigkat, your light show won us...first place!

Good morning ~ I cannot believe it - we stole the show! bigkat, I agree with Kathy, your light show was outstanding! I have never ridden on a float although in HS I glued every year. One year we did See's candy - oh yum! They provided candy non stop. It was so cold that the hot water felt freezing! Oh memories..... Kathy, your drinks kept us going for sure! I do believe the Rose queen was a little jealous of "our" Queen. Another cold day here.

Good morning cookie and all!! .... YAY!! we did it!! (Kathy, we did your DH proud ) ... we didn't get in any trouble (this time) and we won!! ... what a great way to start 2015!! ... bigkat, the lights were fantastic!! ... and I agree, cookie, the Rose Queen was very jealous ... especially when they announced that we had won!! ... (oh well, maybe next year Rose Queen .... NOT!!)

We are going to have a chilly day here ... high of 30!! ... I am planning on going out and taking down my outdoor garland and lights ... walker, you are so right ... didn't I just put those up??

Good Morning Friends! Jet setters that we are we made it to west coast ...in Rose Parade...won Grand Prize and home again......lesser people could not do it all! Yes, I think the Rose Queen was shocked and could not believe there was another Queen in parade!! Move over honey! HA! Back to normal...get those lights down now, Tootie! Hi! Good afternoon. We were a -17 this morning at 9:00 a.m., now it says 20. However, the sun is out and we have a blue sky outside.

The AdAMan Club made it to the top of Pike's Peak this year and the skies were clear for the fireworks display on New Year's Eve. DH and I were....sound asleep! There is a picture in the front of our paper today. It is beautiful.

All of the inside decorations are down and now for the one's that are outside. Maybe tomorrow, before our next storm on Sunday. Hope everyone is staying warm. Kathy

Good morning ~ Great breakfast, Tootie! Wow, get out your shorts!!! We are that right now and hopefully will get a high of 60. I cannot believe the cold weather all over. I saw a bit of the Polar Plunge - people are crazy - certified crazy! Way too cold. Has anyone else gotten the days mixed up? I kept thinking yesterday was Monday. (Old age?) Very long weekend holiday I guess. The excitement of our Queen besting the Rose Queen!!! We had some gorgeous thunder and lightning last night. Enjoy the day.
