Happy Sunday!  We had a little rain overnight...adding to steam factor.  And, so it goes....

News from TX is so very sad....tragic and hard to believe.

🙏s for all .... and they might get more rain...oh my gosh.

There is a tropical storm in NC/SC area too....yikes! 

In midst of that sadness...thanks for the laugh, Tootie...Japanese Beetles...ha....hey, Chinese is close...I never thought anything of it....ahhhhh.....so!  😂  Enjoy your "girl time" with LS....she might want you to run through the sprinkler too...haha.

We have been under flash flood alerts most of the day.  We did have a heavy rain event this afternoon.

I saw that the river at home was cresting but not at flood levels.

Good morning friends ... another hot and humid day ... but we are expecting thunderstorms this afternoon ... maybe it will rain ice water!! 🤞

LS had a fun time running through the sprinkler ... I did take advantage of some of the spray from it 😉... our yard has no shade and we couldn't keep our awning up because it was too windy ... (it has a wind meter on it and will close automatically if it gets whipped around ... and it did!!) ... there was one small strip of shade at the back of the house so I tried to huddle in that 😄 ... and BG had a great time as well at the Splash Park.

Thinking of those affected by the storms in Texas ... especially those that are still missing ... 🙏

It's Moanday Monday ... laundry for me!! ... Have a good day ... stay safe and stay cool!! ... pouring and passing.

Prayers for TX Monday....I just couldn't start with my usual greeting....so incredibly sad for so many people there.  Being under a flood watch must put you on edge, kittyfan.

We'll be thinking of you so keep in touch when you can.🙏

We had a lot of rain yesterday afternoon.  Today is much cooler....👏👏👏....turned off A/C...opened windows...have not done that for a few weeks!  

Sounds like everyone had a "splashing" good time yesterday, Tootie.  Good that you have an awning although not helpful yesterday.  Nice that it has an automatic meter so it closes automatically in wind. 👍

This morning I have to get my wisdom tooth removed..😫...at least only one!  Hope tooth fairy leaves big bucks tonight....haha...old tooth not worth much! 😂 I'll let you know later how it went.  🤞

Oh...found one missing bowl...DH was using it..😠...checked out without authorization..😉😂.

Thank you, Tootie!  And, it will be a UB day after!  Probably on soft foods for a bit....a Velveeta grilled cheese sandwich would be nice....might have to wait on that....but, comforting thought.

Thank you too, kittyfan!  I liked that X!  I am back and it went well and quick!  The worst part was waiting!  I am not a good patient waiting!  Apparently the doctor had a difficult surgery ahead of me so it delayed the morning appointments.  Not much you can do.  I waited almost an hour.  Once in ....numb...wait...pop out tooth....on my way.  Now I have to change gauze pad every half hour until bleeding stops.  And, it's that time...so, bye for now.....thanks for thinking of me. 

Y .... Yipppeeee, I am done!  Yogurt to eat now!

Good morning friends ... glad everything went well with your visit walker, except for the long wait ... can't be helped but still annoying especially when one doesn't want to be there to begin with!! ... did the tooth fairy show up?? 🧚‍♀️

Last night, DD stopped over and we were able to sit outside for a little while ... it wasn't real cool but nice enough to get some fresh air! ... today a little warmer, 79! haha!! with lower humidity ... no rain is expected but it is really gray here right now!

🙏 to those in Texas ... a sad situation there and I heard on the news that they are expecting even more rain!!
