Good evening 

I had a free day today. Tomorrow two appointments.  I did talk with brothers DW. She has been working on taxes. One last look and then file.  

Brother sent me a text saying he was on his way to the house, then a text he found a shredder.  Camera has been down but it was back up after he arrived. I did see him putting his newest toy through a run.  

Oh the parade!!!!   What fun.

Oh bunny on the lawn. 

I saw the house which exploded was new.  Lots of damage to other homes also.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I did see on the news about the house that exploded .. lots of damage to the houses around it too! ... hahaha, you caught DB having some "down time fun" ... I bet he enjoyed it!!

walker, I still have not seen any bunnies around here ... we always had two that would hang out in the backyards ... DH went and got propane yesterday and we were going to grill chicken but Mother Nature had other ideas! it started to rain right around dinner time ... rain today but should be nice tomorrow and we'll grill then!

No new news in my world ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Chicken on the grill...yum, Tootie.  Hope weather cooperates for you today.  I "think" DH might get deck set up today and the grill out!  👏 But, might be awhile before grilling...need it to warm up a bit.  Rain coming in later in week too.

Going to both grocery stores today...last run before Easter.

It will be getting crowded the next couple of days.

No news on planned 🚗🚗🚗 parade yet (still laughing on that one)....probably learn more when we see family on Easter.

Got my grocery shopping done💰💰...hopefully, I don't have to return until next week.  After brunch with family on Easter, DH and I will enjoy a quiet afternoon and dinner.  So, I had to decide on what to eat.  I saw a small lamb roast and I love lamb but rarely cook it....lambs are too cute.  Well, looked at price....small and $30....no thanks.  Ended up with a small piece of ham.  Ham and Easter go together!  Then ....to treat myself....I picked up a Lemon Torte that had been recommended to me.  I have already tasted it YUM!  I need to give some of it away or I will eat it all.  I will share with DH...😉.

Wrong on thinking DH might get to deck today...mañana..mañana ..... 😁.  Not ready to grill anyway.

Good morning friends ... walker, ham is a good choice for Easter ... that's what we have every year ... that was one pricey lamb!! prices are crazy at the store ... that Lemon Torte sounds delicious!! ...  you know what I always say "it'll be there tomorrow" .. so there will be another day for DH to clear the deck 😉😊

Finally, we are going to have a sunny, dry and 52 degree day ... BG and LS will both be here (he's on Spring Break) so we should be able to get outside today!! 🤞

Happy Thursday!  Cloudy morning with rain later I guess. Tomorrow I saw 70's...wow.  Looks like Easter weekend will be 50's with some rain...oh well, no Easter Egg hunt here.  I used to hide eggs inside for my kids.

I have a few chores today, tomorrow laundry and Saturday prep food for Sunday......all with required UBs when needed! 😁

Good morning

Yesterday was busy and when I got home just took things easy.

Started out with first appointment.  Want sure where office was. On the way had a frustrating call with pharmacy. Brother has my POA and same insurance so he got involved.   Very frustrating. Every time one of us spoke had to repraat name, DOB and zip..

Got to appointment very quick check on.  Usually you have to give so much information.  Took us longer to figure out parking lkiosk than anything. Then off to PO. Brother had to mail some tax documents .  Then my second appointment   in and out. Next stop was labs for brother   I was waiting in vehicle. Finally saw him talkingo a lady then I realized it was his DW. she  had to do labs also just there at same time.  T We were going to lunch but first bank stop.  

Lunch with the three of us.   We arted ways and he took me home.  I had some vegetation growing in The dogs yard so he brought his shears to remove that.  He had other stops to make and then he and DW had meeting for church function they were working on. 

I was watching TV and looking at my email

..saw an email from bank which needed attention. Called brother to say I would forward the email.  He called to say he had gotten too busy!   Not the first time. He had a snafu with his labs. There were three orders. Could only find two so he had to go at 7 this morning. Then had an appointment at another facility for a three hour procedure. He called me to say he resolved the bank issue and was getting ready for his procedure.  He runs cold and the facility is kept cold so I know he had his thermals. 

Oh spring break.  Glad to have good weather for a nice outdoor experience.

They are predicting rain for us also.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it sounds like you had a busy day ... frustrating that you had to jump through hoops to talk with someone at the pharamacy ... I know they need security but it is still so aggravating ... (Imo, when I run into an issue like this it seems that people just want to "pass the buck" to someone else!!) ... and then an issue with DB's labs ... ugh! annoying!! ... but glad that you enjoyed a lunch with DB/DW.

walker, the weather cooperated and we were able to grill that chicken! ... no cooking tonight ... it's our last fish fry!!

We will have a warm day (with a chance of rain later on) ... we were able to get outside yesterday with the kids ... they ran, ran, ran and really tired themselves out ... in fact, on the way home LS fell asleep ... DS texted me and asked "what did you do to her today!?" 😂

Enjoy the last Fish Fry, Tootie.  I'll be doing my own Fish Fry here....better than one offered...no cold Mac 'n Cheese.😂  Cute story about wearing out LS yesterday.  Good weather + kids outside running = 😴...a good day for all!  Grilled chicken for you too...yum...let the season begin...(not here yet).  

kittyfan, you are really on the go with DB in town.  Did you say he and DW will be there for Easter?  DB cooking?

Good evening

Brother called me this morning onnhis way to do labs. Said they would have to use other arm!  Said they told him to take it easy--he does run down but he is always busy.  

He is cooking. He will pick me up after church to go to their condo.  he said he bought a ham. Had to taste test when he got home!  

Checked the portal for my last test results. One more to do but brother will come back to town to get me there at 6:30 am!   

I need to do laundry. Perhaps tomorrow!  

I agree Lent went quickly.  But this year has bring flying.

Tootie. How nice you could have a nice outdoor day! 

I haven't bought ice cream in a long time but I did enjoy Blue Bunny!
