Good afternoon. One very tired busy bee here.

I did make it to the Cafe yesterday. So many new faces. Didn't see some favorites. I am sure they have moved in to the next step. When I placed my order was asked if u wanted a free drink. I said yes but I would happily pay. The Barisra was new and learning. It was good but not super!!

On my way home in my subdivision the roads are very narrow and Winding. I was in a tight curve when a truck zooms by me on my left. Really. When I moved along I saw where he turned in. I don't know what the rush. Today I was dropping the deposit in the night drop. I had my blinker on. Preparing to turn and a motorcycle zooms pasr me on tge right. Argh I needed to turn right. Too tired to go to Cafe. Just home to do my reports.

TS was good. We had an excellent week. Today we served two Cuban refugees. They were delightful. I understand they are both doctors. Apparently a tough story. Hope I can learn more.

We have a volunteer who chooses to work with our group. She is very nice to deal with. Well today the coordinator for her group was there. Said something to her about working with us rather than her group. Really it us her choice. We welcome her but we don't pressure her.


We are such a small group. We always seem to pull it off but appreciate everyone. We have resumed sharing a lunch on Friday and Saturday. Just an opportunity to sit and enjoy a break.
We are having an early service on Easter. 8 am. Really. Who picked that time!!! May be church on the couch.


The Catholic church had a fish fry. I tryto support but didn't work out

I am turning in early today. I am really tired. Working TS is rewarding but tiring. I have several services I enjoy participating in. I seem to get a tidbit but the messages.

kittyfan, you deserve a huge UB!  After the gruck nearly missing you on the road and the cyclist passing you on the right.... What is wrong with manners and courtesty?  Glad you got to the Cafe.  Given time the new Barista will get to know just who you are!  Please share more about the delightful Cuban refugees - always nice to hear about people from other places.  

walker, finally got to the Fish Fry - cold mac and cheese and a piece of cheesecake.  All for a good cause.  Nice to see your pastor there as I'm sure the COTC doesn't compete with the personal touches.

Tootie, cute picture.  Maybe SCC should form a search and rescue team for kittyfan's posts😄 Is there suitable punishment for lost posts? More sun today if you want - we will be 88 today and have more than enough.  walker too!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, driving today is like driving on a racetrack ... everyone else thinks they are the only one on the road!! and for a motorcyclist to pass you on the right??!! that is just crazy ... I'm glad that they are allowing lunches now and hopefully you can enjoy some enjoyable time with some of the volunteers.

cookie, I will need more of your weather please ... we will be 47 with more rain/snow mix ... yesterday afternoon we had freezing rain come down!! ugh ... Spring please hurry!!

I will be waiting for sun and warmth, cookie.  Thanks!  I haven't seen weather report here yet but I don't think it will be very warm.  Amazing how sun can make or break a day with how you feel.  

No doubt about it, you are our Busy Bee, kittyfan.  A tired one too!  All good things except being on the racetrack with idiots!  You are right, Tootie, it is crazy out there.  Pretty soon we will all be wearing helmets driving a car.

Time to read paper and get day started.  I will pre-make a dinner to have ready tonight.  I'll go over to DD's mid-afternoon and bring kids back here.....easier to cook in my own kitchen....and DH needs to eat too...I guess...😂.  Anyway, we will go back to their house for night.  After they are off to school tomorrow, I will come home for day.

Back and forth we go.  Good kids...easy job.

Happy Sunday!  I'll be back....just not sure when.  Better put my running shoes on....😉.

Good evening went to church this morning. It was super windy thought I might blow over.

When I got home checked mail. Thought it was all junk. Alas it was not. I almost missed the fact that my heck to IRs had been returned for postage. I know there was a stamp when I dropped it at Po. So spent an hour paying online. My tax people said they would do it and I should have taken them up on this offer. Didn't want to wait so I think I got it to work. Received confirmation email they received it.

I took a UB /nap after my tax foray.

No news.

Glad you didn'tblow over kittyfan.  The folks in  church would have definitely seen an angel if you did! 😇  We had some light wind here too.  good thing you checked your mail.  that's all you need is a lost or delayed check to the IRS!  

walker, you had a busy Sunday!  Smart move to pre make dinner - hope everyone enjoyed all the Queenly preparations and a great dinner.   

Today is DD's Birthday. SIL's is Wednesday so we will  combine the B'days for a dinner celebration during the week?.  Spur of the moment around here😕😐

I spent 6 hours completing a project for my ex - from 5:30am to 11:45am.  Whew!!!! It's done! (I hope)  He has expressed his gratitude many times which is nice, but I am tired and took a much needed long UB the rest of the day.  

Tootie, hope you got some of the sunshine to melt that freezing snow!

walker, hope you had a good morning getting the kids off to school ... our schools are closed this week for Spring break ... make ahead meals are always convenient and I laughed when you said you guess DH had to eat too!! 😂

We will have a 60 degree day with rain later this evening ... nice and sunny right now (thank you cookie!!) ... well, it's Moanday ... I have to catch up with some cleaning that I should have done over the weekend ... oh well, you know what?? it's still there!! 😏

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸🇺🇦🙏☕️

Happy Moanday Monday!  I'm moaning because I did not sleep well last night.  DD and SIL are having bathrooms remodeled at their house.  Currently the Master Bathroom is under construction which means I could not sleep in Master bedroom.  I went to guest room which has a very firm mattress.  I could not sleep!!!  After tossing and turning for a few hours, I went downstairs and slept on couch!  Ha!  That is where I will be tonight too.  Glad it is only two nights.  Other than that all is well...kids are great....no problems at all.  They know what to do, when to do it and keep me on schedule.  This morning grandson says....."grandma we are leaving in 4 minutes"...😂....not 1, 2 or 5....4!  Good kid!  Got both to school on time.

I guess return labels work...and good thing, kittyfan!  Unnerving to think check went off but didn't.  All's well that ends well.  

cookie, you have to be one of the BEST EX's!  You are big help to your ex.  My sister-in-law would tell her ex to go fly a kite!  HA....no friendly divorce there!

Good luck with chores, Tootie. Funny how those things do wait for you!!  I need to get on my horse too for a few before it is time to meet kids again.
