Rain, rain go away....still light rain outside....and I am up too early!  Woke up about 5:00 and finally got up at 5:30.

Now almost 6:30 and still dark out! 😟.  Days are getting shorter......noticed it got dark at 6:30 last night too!

Wah...wah...wah.....sorry....need my coffee.....ha!  SO...HAPPY THURSDAY EVERYONE!!  

cookie, laughing about your quiet weekend and Tootie reminded you about our Big Bash on Saturday...😂.  Glad you are working on decorations, Tootie.  I forgot about that....been busy with our Chef....he showed up early to get QA and food ready....especially his double cake creation!   We will pick you up early Saturday, Tootie....decorate and head to TX for guests of honor.

Good thing you got the toy shopping done for LS and LG, Tootie.  They keep warning people about toy shortages.  I don't have to worry about that anymore.   Those were fun times though.

Well, paper is here.....coffee, paper and quiet.👍...DH still sleeping.  He always has to comment on news articles....yes, dear, I read that....I know, I read that too...🙄.

Good morning ~

Very quiet around here.  Dogs are still piled on SIL - they will be up for their breakfast soon.  I didn't hear any thunder or see any lightning last night but saw all the flash flood warnings on TV.  We don't usually get the worst of the storms though.  kittyfan, hope you are out of the path.

Tootie, you are very smart getting your little ones Christmas gifts early.  I remember when my kids were little, I learned to go and buy early - a lot easier and more time to do other things.  We had a store in town that would wrap all your gifts and put them on lay-away.  This was a wonderful thing for a couple of years.

walker, I hope we have decent weather for the BB.  Lots of stormy, rainy weather.  Of course you could dig out Wanda Wand and have any weather we want💜😊.  that would make it easier for QA to fly and land.  Looking forward to us tomorrow!  Hurray for the Chef!! 🎂

Good morning friends ... it's raining here this morning and it is dark out!! I don't like the short days either ... I guess we're going to have a rainy weekend too ...walker, I forgot to tell you that our geraniums have a lot of buds on them and are still going strong ...

DS/SIL had a dinner to go to last night so we babysat ... LG is so much fun to play with but LS, yikes!! she has a fussy time from about 7-10 and boy can she scream!! 😲 Grammie is not used to that ... but we got her through it ... lot's of cuddles and walking the floor ... (and I did not want to break out the "Grandma Meds" 😂 )

That's all the news I have for now ... last minute prep going on for our BB tomorrow ... rest up my friends for our big day!!

Finally the rain has moved out!  My new mums are drowning and geraniums....done and gone for season!  You beat me with yours, Tootie!

kittyfan, sounds like you have a lot of deer in your area or some who call your home..their home. 🦌😁

Grammie had her work cut out for her last night with LS! And, grandpa had the fun part with LG!  That's always the way it goes...ha!  Still wonderful though, eh?  Best part...parents return and grandparents get to go home!  👍

cookie, better get Wanda Wand ready....may need some weather magic tomorrow.  Rain or shine....fun, good food and friends together tomorrow!  🥳. Definitely with those mimosas too!!

Good morning.

Had one of those technology days. Decided to log on to my bank. I use a local bank. Did a large national bank before changed when I moved. Well had trouble. Called for help. Didn't get resolution completely but did realize what I was doing wrong. Able to log on but still needed more help. Thankfully got someone else. She was most helpful and we resolved the issues. Argh had planned to go to TS but will go tommorrow--then pop into Cafe. French onion soup is a special. Yum.

We are expecting a cold front. Windy for QA flying in! Rain not supposed to be an issue

I saw it was 70 years ago that I LOVE LUCY premiered. Lots and lots of laughs!!! They just don't do comedy like that anymore.

Oh Tootie---you are out of practice! Of course DH gets the fun duty. You get the baby duty!!!

Walker: hope you don't have side effects. I got my flu shot earlier--when they first became available. Reports of bad season---who knows. Just want to do what I can to help.

Hi there.....👋👋.....just finished lunch after my morning out and about.....and what did I get today...besides a flu shot?  CANDY CORN!!!  My treat for not crying after my shot....haha!  It "might" last one day...😆.  

kittyfan, glad you were able to resolve technology/banking issues.  More stress in life we don't need!  Yum..French Onion Soup.....does Cafe have new items on menu?

70 years since I Love Lucy premiered?  You are right, kittyfan, they just don't do good shows like that anymore.

I hope we don't have any Lucy episodes tomorrow!!  🙄😂Windy arrival picking you and cookie up, eh?  Oh boy, hope Chef can handle this...us too!  I stopped by QA and wow....food and spirits galore...and I think Chef might have been sampling! He was singing a lot of loo-Dee-do-Dee-dooo.  Looks like a funeral home inside with all the flowers he brought in...ahhhhchoooo!  So thoughtful...said nothing but best for his girls! 😉 He is baking BIG cake today.

This Big Birthday Bash will definitely be an UP, UP and AWAY celebration!!!  After getting everyone, we will jet over to Albuquerque, N.M.  Seems there are a few hot air balloons still there from recent festival.  We get to take a ride!!! Some new owner heard about us and offered birthday ride?  CE? 😳  Be ready for more adventures of SCC!  Food, fun, friends and FLYING!🤞

Rest up is right, Tootie!  Big day ahead..... your decorations will set everything off!  Chef is so concerned about decorations.  I said you had it covered,  QA coming your way early.....then we can sample a mimosa or two as we fly to TX.  😋

Fortunately, I am feeling fine from shot.  Of course, I always ask for the regular shot...might be a senior but I am a young senior...give me regular!!  Ha!  It has worked for several years..why change?

walker, weather for our part of TX is no rain, 10-15 mph wind and in the mid 70's.  Sounds like a good one, but things change in an instant around here, so hang on to WW!  Sample more Mimosas on your way over, just in case😊  It's good to come prepared😄😄  Which shot did you get?  the booster or the second one?  Confused minnds need to know.
