cookie, I don't know all the details about the apples but they orignated here in a little town ... they are a nice sweet baking apple ... maybe they aren't available in your area??

Hi to walker!!

I put out my pumpkins over the weekend ... they are metal ones that we got at the nursery ... I have them in the front garden ... I usually put out scarecrows but they took a beating in the wind last year and I wanted something different.

We'll have another windy and chance of rain day ... high of 74.

You are ready for Fall with your mums and pumpkins!  I have to get out today and get mums!!!  I noticed more people in neighborhood are decorating for Fall.  I need to get with the program!  This sunny week is time to do it even if my geraniums still look good.

kittyfan, glad you were able to maneuver through the TS.

You have mentioned before how busy the Cafe is on Sunday....for sure....so you drove in, around and home!  Meant to ask.....many new items on menu there since re-opening?  Doesn't matter since #1 Customer gets whatever she wants!!! 😊

No news from me...yesterday quiet day....day of rest...too restful!  We have another Cross Country Meet for GS later.

I'm back!  I got my mums!  The selection was picked over from weekend but I got five pots that look good.  I put them in front of the house and they look really nice.  Fall finally came to my house! My Fall wreath is up too.  DH moved the geraniums to our garden in backyard.  So, now I can see them out my kitchen window.  I said next year we have to buy more geraniums for backyard...ha!  They look good mixed in with my hostas.

Hello ... oh good walker, I'm glad you were able to get your mums ... and now you can still enjoy your geraniums in the back ... my hostas died this year and DH had to dig it out ... it was in the corner of the front of the house where nothing really grows well (apparently not sunny enough) I guess I'll have to put some kind of decoration there ... our geraniums in the front garden are still going strong ... I have 2 hisbiscus bushes in the back which are done flowering for the season so I stuck a mum plant in between them ...

Good afternoon lady of the missing keys and flower pot ladies ~

How nice you were able to find some Mums walker - and put them where you can enjoy seeing them.  Sorry about the Hostas Tooite, but good that your Geraniums are doing fine.  My mother always had Geraniums around.  

DD tried a Hibiscus with no luck.  Not much luck around here.  I miss my CA yard and the various flowers (BIL and Gardner were so good about keeping them blooming)  

Tootie, I sure do remember golf balls Jaw Breakers!!  Loved them.  Lots of neat candy/snacks things when I was a kid.  Used to see them in the little candy machines - put a nickel or dime in and twist the key - Voila!  

Thanks for the response on the apples.  They sound really good.

I successfully held on to keys. At TS today spent my time doing baby clothes. Seemed to take me all day.

Had aong conversation with nurse Brenda. She encouraged me to get booster shot. Am thinking about getting it done.

Got my replacement cards. Now I need to track them with my keys.

Really tired. Will check back tomorrow

kittyfan, sounds like you are back in business with your keys and new cards.  How fun to do baby clothes at the TS.  Cute stuff.  Nice to have nurse Brenda around.  Give the booster some good thoughts.  I have thought about it but don't think I have the right qualifications.  Will ask my doctor.  

SIL grilled chicken last night and DD did artichokes.  DD's friend stopped by with homemade mac and cheese.  Great dinner and friend is a bubbly friendly lady.  We are getting some T storms from for the rest of the week. Not looking forward to appointments in the rain. Love rain and T storms but only when I am viewing the from inside!

cookie, yum! what a dinner ... (not a doctor and maybe things changed) the booster shot should be administered 8 months after your second dose of the vaccine ... mine would be due in December.

Yummy Food! 😋 Dinner at cookie's sounded delicious...a SIL at the Grill Night 👍.....and Quiche this morning, thanks, Tootie!  All we need is kittyfan with dessert from Cafe!!  Happy Tuesday!!

The track meet yesterday went well and GS did very good with his time.  Although it had been a warm afternoon, it cooled off for the meet which is good for runners.  He only has one more meet but it is away so we probably won't get to it.  

Sure was nice to look out my kitchen window this morning and see my bright red geraniums.  I told DH ....next summer MORE flowers...HA!  And, I like seeing my mums in front now too.  cookie and kittyfan....TX must get way too hot for flowers....and pots would require constant watering, right?

My haircut gal has increased her hours/days since she has both children back in school.  So, she is in today and I can get a morning appointment.  I prefer the less busy days and mornings.

Time for breakfast.....sigh...minus the quiche!  Maybe I will stop at store after haircut.  Sometimes they sell individual quiche slices.....maybe quiche for lunch today??

Hello friends ... walker, glad to hear that your haircut gal has extended her hours/days ... I'm with you, go when it's not busy ... in and out! ... I bet it felt good to get it cut!! it's a whole new you!! 😊  ... oh yes, seeing flowers gives you a happy feeling.

I reorganized my shelves in the refrigerator ... somehow things get put back wherever there is an empty space and not where they belong ... (for blaming sake, I say it's DH ... hahaha!!) for now they look nice and neat.
