Hi there......sun is out but there is a bit of a cold wind so I decided to pass on my walk today.  I have a haircut appointment soon anyway.  I'll be glad when my gal changes her hours and starts earlier in the day.  She had to change due to her girls being home.  I understand but it is easy to forget late afternoon appointments...ha.  I am an "out and about" person before noon....preferably.

Bye for now......think I will start my countdown to Spring tomorrow....I better go count so I am ready....🌷🌷🌷🌷...

Good evening. Water thawed out. I canceled my neighbor who was coming to help. I had the whole house replaced a few years ago and didn't think i would freeze up.
But it was crazy for us


Sun was lots of melting. But still lots of icy spots and snow. Dogs were happy to be able to go out without sinking in snow.

We had a landlord from Greece. His wife was also. She would bring his lunch in a basket each day. She did make us Dolmas
Their church would have a yearly festival featuring lots of food

Good morning ~  Our "heat wave" is getting warmer!  53 today!!!  Time for shorts and flip flops!  I am still not comfortable with going outside because the melted snow becomes icy water - slippery stuff.  I called yesterday to cancel/re-schedule my appointment and they had a recording that office was closed - call back Monday from 7:45am on to re-schedule, yada yada.  How they understand my appointment is for Monday!  Cancelation fees???

Sounds like your trio is doing well back in "real" school.  What's up with the public schools anyway??  All this back and forth cannot be good for anybody!  

Tootie, I haven't been fortunate enough to get any pictures when signing in. I guess there is an invisible/unknown test to get into the "random pictures" club?

Glad to hear you are doing well kittyfan.  We still have to boil water for drinking.  Washer pipes must still be frozen - no water coming out to wash.  DD and SIL took loads to the laundrymat - rest of the house is at full pressure????

On top of all the nasty weather, I heard that northern Oklahoma had a small earthquake!  Yikes...what next? (I don't think I want to know.)

We had a nice evening at DS's last night.  Enjoyed a yummy pizza...always a treat for me because I love it.

The 3A's are sure growing up....just doing their own thing but I did get my hugs!

Good morning friends ... I AM READY FOR SEVERAL MIMOSAS!! ... I decided to switch my early shopping trip and go this morning ... what a mistake!! I think everyone else decided to do the same thing ... we got there at 7am and there were so many people out ... got that shopping done and then went to the produce market ... that wasn't too bad ... closer to home we had to zig zag through our streets to avoid the garbage trucks ... ugh!! ... and then, I had to scroll through those darn pictures ... aaaahhhh!! 😠

cookie, happy to hear that you are almost back to normal ... that is strange that just your washer line would still be frozen ... nothing is ever easy anymore.

Hi there, Ladies! 

Getting ready to climb the stairs and get in bed.  Lucky (our 18-year-old Tabby) will be following right behind.

Spring supposedly is right around the corner.  Didn't Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow and we will have 6 more weeks of winter??  Hummm! 

Prayers for Texans caught up in the terrible weather they went through and made their lives so difficult.  Really sad!
