Hello ... the winds have finally died down ... DH went out to check around the house and found one of the scarecrows hats (my crafty one) ... those scarecrows have seen better days so I think I am just going to toss them ...

cookie, my weird neighbor, Mr. Briefs, moved away ... we now have a younger girl who keeps very much to herself ... lucky if we get a wave from her ...

walker, I hope all went well for you at the doctors today ...

Hi there......I'll take quiche anytime during day, Tootie.  However, DH would pass ....so can't try that for dinner...had to cook!! 🙄 But, I can reheat for breakfast and/or lunch tomorrow.  Thanks!

My doctor appointment went well and pretty quick today! Doctor said "looks good" so happy about that....wants to see me again in a couple of months ...my nose is still a bit reddish/purple ....said should go away.

I did not get a chance to walk today so did not check out neighbor's scarecrows.  I will tomorrow.  Funny about your DH finding the special hat!!  

Guess I will close up kitchen....leaving light on in case kittyfan stops in.....see you all tomorrow.

Got a haircut yesterday morning and I feel so much lighter.  I was almost 2 months overdue so it looks very short.  Fortunately my hair grows fast.  I kind of liked the little longer look.

cookie, I know what you mean about your hair ... we like our hair a certain length but then it gets to that stage of being annoying so we chop it off ... then we have to get used to it being shorter ... I bet it looks nice.

Hi there......well, now my DIL is sick and went for a Covid test today....Mama Mia!  She has fever, headache and body aches.  Doesn't sound good....hoping it is just flu...anxiously waiting those results.  Our Governor said today he is STRONGLY encouraging people to stay home unless necessary to go out.  He is only closing places like museums and theaters.  But, other business ok for now.

So scary!  Do the best you can to stay well and WHAM...you get sick.  

Very chilly here today ....did not even get to 40...so I wimped out and did not walk.....maybe tomorrow..ha.

STAY WELL!  See you later..oh my I get the U and V today??  STRESS!!! 😂 Here goes....

Hello ... oh no walker!! I hope that your DIL is not sick with the virus ... hopefully, just the flu like you said ... how is your DD feeling?

Our Governor is going to make an announcement tomorrow ... we're in a yellow zone that has limits on gatherings and restaurants/bars closing early ... I think we are going to move to the orange zone which is going to put limits on more things ... one being salons again ...

We had a chilly windy day here too ... we even had snow this morning ... just the wet stuff ...

I'm worried about kittyfan ... she hasn't been on since last week.

Good morning ~  Oh no walker, hope your DIL has only the flu and not the "other one".  These are such trying times.  Hoping she is better.  Let us know how she's doing.  

Tootie, I think we will be in another lockdown all over again.  I haven't heard anything regarding TX - maybe today.  I think several places - salons, restaruants, etc.  have followed instructions and are operating safely.  Hoping for better news.

I also am worried about our kittyfan.  Hoping she is just busy and hasn't had time to post.  

We will be 77/42 today again.  Vet called yesterrday and Ozzie's blood was pretty good - only thing was kidney failure which cannot be cured, but can be treated.  It is quite common in older felines.  He will have to have subcutaneous (SQ) fluids given 3 times a week via a shot.  A bag hangs from the ceiling and the fluid hooks up to a needle.  I have done this before and it is not difficult.  He also has to eat certain food ( usually $$ and available through Chewy and the Vet).  Doc recommended to feed both cats the same since my other one is quite the little piglet!

Good morning friends ... cookie, sorry to hear about Ozzie's condition ... but! there is a plan for his treatment and it sounds like you have everything under control ...

Our plans for Thanksgiving have changed ... since we don't think it is a good idea for all of us to be around DM (and she agrees) she'll be home with DB and family and we'll go to DS's house ... I keep telling myself that we've been seeing DS more lately and it will be ok to go there ... we'll be cautious ... but ???? ... I just don't know what to think anymore ... and then we have LG's birthday and Christmas ... yikes!! ... one day at a time! ... great X, cookie!

We'll have a chilly day ... 26 now and our high will be 37.

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸😷

Great X, cookie!  I am getting paranoid about everything now!  No matter what you do, it is risky!  😩.  DD is a lot better....must have been cold virus.  I will check on DIL later...DS and 3A's.  Worried about kittyfan as well...she is more out and about....hope you are ok, kittyfan!!

Our Governor has put more restrictions in place as of Friday...restaurants/bars closed...no inside service....salons ok...with masks, of course, grocery stores 50% capacity....yikes....I am shopping today!  Oh...funerals...limited anyway...now only 10 people...wondering about the church services they are having now.....good grief...hibernation season starting early here!!!  I am back to stay at home except groceries.

Sounds like you made a good family decision for Thanksgiving, Tootie.  I think we will be home by ourselves.  DD doing the turkey...I'm doing sides....we will put our dinner together but eat at home....unless we have an unusually nice day and can eat outdoors like Pilgrims and Indians...sure, sure.

cookie, you will be a certified vet assistant soon.  I am sure Ozzie will perk up with your TLC.
