Well, water is shut off right now; waiting to hear back from the church - so far no luck finding a plumber who will just bill the church, but maybe they can tell me who does the church's plumbing and I can contact him. I washed my hair before the water was turned off, the tub is full for washing up & flushing, and I have pots of water on the stove for tea, cooking, etc.

Since it's Elvis' birthday, Krispy Kreme had a special: One dozen glazed donuts AND one dozen assorted donuts for $9.99. The HOT sign was on when I got there. I ate four...so far.

Oh wow!! Krispy Kreme doughnuts ....my DH's favorite (or used to be) ... We don't have any around now ... they all closed shop ....

I'll be thinking about you and praying that you find the help you need for your house .....

Good morning friends!! and YAY!! no shoveling required this morning ....we just had a light dusting of snow overnight .... we are going up to 20 degrees along with some sunshine ..... haven't seen that in a while!! Hopefully, the sun will start to melt some of our snow covered roads ....

Good morning Tootie and all who are up early ~ FHG, you have been hit with way too many problems. I will be praying that you get some answers ASAP! I am sure all of us have had these things happen at one time or another, so at least you are not alone. Yay Tootie! You are having a heat wave!!! We are as well - 60! Haven't seen nor had a Krispy Kreme since I left CA. We have Round Rock Donuts here and they are supposedly known all over since one of the TV cooking people included them in one of their programs several years ago. They are very good and similar to KK. There are lines around the block for the drive thru every morning. Stay safe and warm everyone ~

Good Morning Friends! Woke up this morning and winter is still here...HA! But, warmer temps coming.....mid-30's soon but rain predicted so hope we don't have flooding problems then. Well....onto Thursday...and I hope it is good for everyone...especially FHG...better day!! On doughnuts....loved the Krispy Kreme but ours closed too. I could not understand it when the place seemed busy. I guess they could not compete with Dunkin' Donuts. Kathy, peacekeeper sounds like a good thing. Our playgrounds just have teachers, or parent to try to keep the peace.

Hey Tootie, told ya it would get better!! We are in the teens today, woo hoo!! 30's tomorrow with lots of rain. We just need to pay attention to walker's weather, it usually heads our way. No wonder my sinuses are going nuts on me, I want to go back to bed and close my eyes.

P-Parsley plant I brought in for the winter is not looking too good....we'll see how long it lives!

Hi! Good afternoon. We have sunshine and almost 45 degrees today!!! Feel wonderful in the sun, warm. FHG, I am so sorry for the issues with the plumbing. There were lots of pipes that burst around here when we had the cold snap. Hope everyone is having a good day. Warm weather for the FF sounds wonderful. Someplace to hear the sound of the ocean??? Hi friends....hope you have had a good day....FHG? Things better? Kathy....sorry to hear about your hair stylist's DH and dimentia.....sad.....QM deals with it but she is 97....really sad when younger but maybe medication will help....I watched the stages of Alzheimer's with a friend who was mid50's,taught school for 20 years, and students started reporting she was confused in class. Well.....time for some fun in the sun.....ocean sounds nice and relaxing....where to? Acapulco? Cancun? Other? Oops..almost forgot game.....S......Steak .....NEXT.....T
