Good morning ~  Tootie, nice that you are able to move forward.  It is never easy to lose someone. We really are special friends here, aren't we. It radiates such warm feelings. On top of everything else, your temps are horrible!  We were 78 yesterday (rubbing it in - sorry) 

I will probably be taking some HLP's today - miss my naps.  Yikes!!! I really am a crazy old cat lady!!  Have a great day.

Good Morning Friends!

Brrrrrr.......we are at 3 degrees right now....going to a high of 12 today.  But, sun again which brightens my spirits....:+).  And, just hearing the number of 78 gives warmth too, cookie.

Tootie, double dose of sadness for you this week!!!  You and your best friend must have given each other a big hug.  Here is mine....

Good morning and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to everyone!! ... walker, cute story and since we are gong down memory lane ... I was in 5th grade and the cutest boy left a "pearl" wrap-around bracelet (in my desk) ... no card, so I had to guess who it was from ... (eventually I found out!)

Cold today ... -11 now and our high will be 12 ... BBRRR!!

We are all doing good here ....

Happy Heart Day 

I love going down memory lane and remember making Valentine boxes out of a shoe box that was covered with construction paper and decorated. Fortunately, the teacher was very tuned in and everyone had to get a card. There was a couple of girls who complained (they were the ones that would have gotten the most and now everyone would be equal).  Great teacher!

We will enjoy 78 today.  Stay warm and safe!

Posted last night vanished. Second try. I spent yesterday with friends. On ny way home drove past the local candy factory/shop. Parking lot packed. Store full of guys!!!

Tootie, good to hear from you and know you are doing ok there.

It is certainly a time of sadness but memories too.  Is your MIL still living?

l love the shared memories here about Valentine's Day.  Cute and fun to read! And, thank heavens teachers tell students to bring a card for everyone!!  Kittyfan, lol, on guys in candy store.

Good morning ~ Cute cat pic, FHG.  We had a cat several years ago, named Mary Rose, who absolutely loved cheese and would come to us if we called cheeeeeese.  She loved to go up in the attic with my husband but would not come down.  Called cheeeeese and down the ladder she came. She wised up fast and we had to put a piece of cheese on each step.  I miss her.  Most of my cats loved cheese - the yucky sliced Kraft stuff.  Hence, the name "cat cheese" in our house.

walker, my MIL passed away about 2 years ago ... the funeral is tomorrow and we just heard that we are expecting snow tonight into tomorrow ... 18 inches!!
