Good morning ~ Sorry about your experience with the recipe, walker. I adjusted it slightly from the original because I thought 45 minutes @375 was too hot too long. Sometimes, you have to do what you feel is best. Rainy weekend - good for curling up with a book/kindle. We will be up to 48 today. DST is early - I remember it in April. Stay warm

Well, I missed the morning! Good afternoon!! And Happy March!! We are getting closer. Cookie, it does seem that DST gets earlier every year! Didn't it used to be in April??

We are having a heat wave...20's today and 30's tomorrow, but tomorrow it may turn to freezing rain, fun!

I'm with ya on the sick of snow Tootie, it can melt any time!!

Any one do pork tenderloin in the slow cooker?? I've done roasts and country style ribs to make pulled pork, but I don't think I have done a loin. Looking to do one tomorrow since I have a lot of running around to do.

B-Barefoot Wine...not bad for a cheap one!

Hi Tootie! I just looked at my pork and it is a loin, not tenderloin...so I'm not sure how much of a difference that is other than being larger and thicker. Most recipes I run across have a marinade you pour over the meat and that's it. D- Directions for a recipe! E- is next.

Hi friends.....really nice day here so I was out and about doing errands. Bigkat, here is a recipe I have made in crock pot with pork loin. It is good.

Golden Pork with Cinnamon-Sugar Apples

1 pork loin roast (about 3 lbs.)

1 can condensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 cup granulated sugar

3 tablespoons ground cinnamon

2 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced

Hot cooked noodles or rice.

Place pork loin roast in crock pot. Combine soup, water, brown sugar and soy sauce in medium bowl; stir to mix well. Pour over pork. Cover; cook on Low for 8 hours.

About 1 hour before serving, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in medium size resealable plastic food storage bag. Add apples; shake to coat well. Place apples on top of pork. Cover; cook 1 hour longer. Serve with rice or noodles.

Hi walker! That sounds really good! Almost every recipe I ran across has soy sauce in it. My kids love apples and cinnamon. Thanks for passing that recipe on!

I think you could leave the soy sauce out of recipe, bigkat, if you don't care for it. I love using the crock pot so hope you are able to find a recipe that will work for you. Tootie, how were your pork chops? Did you fix with different way? Bye for now....G......Gatorade.....NEXT....H
