Hi walker! perfect timing, taking a quick UB before I start dinner ... I'm done decorating too! ... (since I did that cleanout last year and I'm down to 2 totes, it made it so much easier to get what I wanted) ... I told DH anything that I don't use is going!! ... tree is up, but we're watching the kids tomorrow for a couple hours and I'm going to let them "help" me decorate it!! .. only thing I can complain about is the up and down, up and down, up and down!! ... I'm tired too!!

Ugh!! you got a decent amount of snow!! ... it's not doing anything here ... just bitter cold!! expecting snow flurries with high winds tonight into tomorrow!!

I usually use a plain creamer but my favorite one at Christmas  time is Gingerbread ... still waiting for it to come out this season!!

Ooops! I babbled on ... have a good night!

Good evening

8 inches would be a lot for us.  We are expecting a front this evening to drop our temps.  Brothers DW got her COVID shot 💉 yesterday.  She is sensitive.  Brother called me this morning. Did I want to ride out to the house. Said he would be here at 11. Finally calls at almost noon as he was pulling up.  We decided to go tomorrow.  He did get my 🎄 out of storage. I had bought some items on clearance I had forgotten. I don't have lots of space. I forget I no longer have three bedrooms etc. Brother is taking some things to the house. He put a few things out and I told him to keep going--said I needed to take care of it.  I had bought some flameless candles and didn't realize they had a remote. He went online and took care of some documents we need to submit. It is endless. Hopefully this will be satisfactory.  He was going to get his DW some food so I rode along. He dropped hers off. He said she was asleep.  Then we went to pick up food for us. We ate and then he headed out to check on her.   Plan is to go tomorrow to the 🏡.  He will be out of town early next week . They will head home. He will fly back before 🎄

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I hope the DW feels better soon ... I have some of those flameless candles with remotes but mine also have a built in timer on them so I just use the timer ... those are nice candles! ... I hope you have a good time at your house today ... did DB decorate it yet?? (or maybe that is going to be a surprise for you 😉)

It's snowing here ... we got a little overnight too! but I think we are only supposed to get about 3" 🤞... no planning on going out anyways, the kids will be here this afternoon.

Happy Sunday!  Oh, the weather outside is frightful...but, my friends are so delightful.....🤣....corny start to the day!😉  We are getting more snow this morning....pretty but enough is enough!  Definitely a church on the couch day.

kittyfan, hope you enjoy visit to the house today.  A work in progress still or is it all done?  New house...new decorations....bet it looks great.

I have some of those candles with remotes and timers too.

Best ones...Luminara which I don't see much on the Q anymore...😟.  I like the flickering wicks...so real looking.

Have fun decorating the tree with BG and LS today, Tootie.

Give them all the UNbreakable ornaments...ha!  BG has a birthday coming up in December, right?  I forget...5? 6? ...time flies.....my GD will be 15 on Tuesday.  DD said we might celebrate later ....hope not...I don't want to go out...haha....but, for her I will....maybe they could just come here and pick up her gift.  😂

Hello friends ... oh my gosh walker, your GD is going to be 15? yikes!! just a toddler when I joined here!! time sure is flying by ... yes, BG will be 6 on the 19th!! ... they had so much fun decorating my tree ... they got so excited when they found some that were their daddy's when he was little ... it looks a little lopsided but that's ok!! ... 

BG proclaimed to us that he isn't going to play with any more space toys (which he loves) until he is 95!! 😄😂 ... isn't he going to be surprised when he sees what Santa is bringing him!! 😉 ... today he was all about the Polar Express ... so cute ... they both sing along!! ... sweet memories!!

I'll be on late tomorrow ... I have my physical at 7:30am!!

Good evening

Brother called me this morning. He left his phone 📱 on the vehicle last night. He went back to look.  He fell on the uneven sidewalk. Then he spotted his 📱.  It had been run over. So a replacement phone should arrive tomorrow. The bad thing is everything at my 🏠 n

Was controlled by the phone. He admitted he is juggling too many balls and needed to slow down. Okay I have told him and his DW!  He has two phones but the second phone will be given to the church. I had a spare phone I got when I changed plans so he will get service and use that one.  The circle 🔴 is complete many many years ago he gave me my first cell phone.  

We headed to the house. Traffic was terrible. He had to stop at home Depot first.  Got to the house couldn't understand why the door was unlocked and the alarm was off.  Then he realized it was his phone.  He had bought some things and I had bought some items. He had the Christmas 🎄 but ran out of time. There were a few items out and about.  He did visit with the neighbor bhevhadnt seen him in a while.  We were later leaving than planned. Traffic was terrible. He took me home.  He will take care of his phone issues. May go to the 🏠 and put the camera. Alarm. Locks. Thermostat back on his phone. He flies out on Tuesday.  Back here on Friday and they head home. He has a Drs appointment but will be back before the end of the month.  

I am sure the tree looks lovely. Lots of memories.  Yes the kids are growing fast.

Happy Monday!  Welcome December!  May this be a good month for all!  Guess we all need to remind ourselves....slow down....somehow everything comes together.  Maybe magically....ha!

kittyfan, sorry to hear about DB and his phone.  He is always doing so much for others....go, go, go!  I think he can run circles around the Energizer Bunny!  Even the Energizer Bunny stops once in awhile!  😉 Hope he starts to listen to others and himself....sloooow down!  It was nice he took you to the house. Traffic getting worse everywhere.

Tootie, hope you pass your physical with a ....all good...see you next year! 😁👍 Glad your helpers got the tree decorated for you....even lopsided but unique, eh? 😊 Decorated with love!  Funny about BG and space toys...95...🤣🤣.  

I got one more box out yesterday....my childhood nativity...just didn't seem right without it.  I think DH is afraid I will say it doesn't seem right without it.  I remind myself....it's a lot of work.

We did go to DD's yesterday for a birthday get-together for GD.  Weather had cleared and roads were dry so no problem.  DD's in-laws we're there too and we enjoy them.  GS's girlfriend came too.  

All for now....better start making my lists and checking them twice! 😉 Have a nice day!

Good morning friends ... I'm back ... while I was out I decided to go grocery shopping ... got home and the guy was here to look at the siding ... he also wanted to see our bathroom since he was the one to get the ball rolling ... I got an A+ at the doctors! ... next hurdle is my dentist appointment on Wednesday ... ugh!!

kittyfan, sorry to hear about DB and his phone ... good thing he had an extra phone ... DB needs to "slooooow down!" ... maybe after this fall he will ... no injury?

walker, I'm glad you got your Nativity Scene out ... especially being your childhood one ... I bet it's beautiful ... putting ours out is a must for me too!! ... glad you were able to get to your GD's get together ...

That's all for now ... sunny but chilly here today ... we had a coating of rain/ice overnight ... thank goodness the salters were out early!

Happy Tuesday!  Cold, cold, cold here....snow will be with us for awhile....today high of 26... warmer for you, Tootie...30 sounds good.  

I just sent a birthday text message to my GD....two dogs with googly/goofy eye glasses on...I laughed..she'll laugh. Thanks for greeting, Tootie.  She hurt...sprained her foot in gymnastics last week.  She has to wear one of those big boots for a month.  She is happy to get a pass from her P.E. class for awhile....which now is swimming...I used to hate that one.

kittyfan, I have a new one for DB....just got a message from my hospital on advice for holidays...."Why you need to Press Pause".....I have not read information yet but thought.....good advice....PRESS PAUSE once in awhile.

No news either so I'll press pause for now....haha.
