Hi walker!! ... we had a sunny but cool(er) day ... sorry your GD didn't win but glad you enjoyed your day watching her play ... I did get outside and went through some of my outdoor things ... got rid of some that had seen better days ...

I laughed at your book that you got the 3A's ... "please don't hit grandma" hahaha!! ... Congratulations and good thoughts to them as they enter a new journey!!

Good evening

Mail theft is everywhere. I know that when I was still at the TS one of the ladies had a business.  She said she wral checks had been stolen.  I sometimes go to the p o with brother. They have removed the mail boxes completely. Lobby isn't open except during business hours. I know theft from mail boxes is a huge problem also.  

Brother put up a locking box at my house. 

Brother is flying in tomorrow. He said he will pick me up at 5 am for my appointment.   That is on Tuesday. Then we have some business to attend to.

Oh getting out is good for recharging batteries

We'll have a sunny 72 degree day ... perfect weather for me!! ... grocery shopping this morning then home to enjoy the outdoors ... of course after I put groceries away ... (I don't enjoy that!)

Last few days of April...as always....🕰️✈️ing!  

kittyfan, you'll have to go to bed after dinner today for that 5AM pick up!  Guess you 'do what you gotta do'....I think of that when I look at these early morning people on the news programs....🥱....everyday up at something like 3AM.

Tootie, we have another anniversary coming up....maybe a nice day for grilling? 🤔See if Desi and Lucy can get it right?  HA!  I'm still thinking of what I want to do.  DH doesn't care...always says...what do you want to do?

Good evening

Brother arrived in town. His son frord him off at airport for ,11 am flight.  Texted me it was delayed.   Was on his way when he called. I have been dealing with my AC being out. I was getting a run around. He took over and thought it was handled on a Friday.  Not so he went into action.  Long story short he couldn't get a response from anyone here so he called the director at home. She was out on leave and I am not sure how he got her number.   When I was moving on he asked for her number which she declined to give him. The previous marketing fella had given us his cell and encouraged us to call.  Should be fixed first thing in the morning. Will see. I have the early appointment. 

Of course brother had to sweep the floor and blow the leaves off the patio.   I  gave him a Gatorade and sent him on his way.  He had a zoom meeting.  He needed to find food. 

I am on liquids only and so many food commercials!  Tomorrow at some point I can eat!

Good morning friends ... oh boy kittyfan, nothing gets by DB ... hope your A/C gets fixed soon ... if not, I would hate to be the next person that DB has to deal with!! 😯😂 ... I know you will look forward to your food when you can eat again!!

walker, I can't believe that we are almost into May and our Anniversaries are right around the corner! ... 40 years for us! the kids want to take us out ... DS and family are heading to Disney on Thursday and coming back the next Thursday so the date is up in the air ... but DH and I will do something!

We'll have another sunny 72 degree day and then at dinnertime rain and high winds will move in ... prices at the store are ridiculous!

Happy Tuesday!  Windy day here after one yesterday as well.  I could hear winds during night...never quit.

Hope your test goes well, kittyfan.  And, when you return your A/C is working again....or, at least, being worked on there.  Don't mess with DB!

Tootie, 40 years...that is a special anniversary!  It seems like we just celebrated our 50th ....yikes, another year flies by....poof.  Having fun, eh? 😅

Lucky LS and BG another trip to Disney....fun for them!

No news here...I have to take GS and GD to school this morning.  DD has a breakfast to attend and SIL out of town.  Fortunately, I pick both up at same time...drop GS and then GD ....one trip...👏.  Later I am getting a manicure/pedicure since it is a nice day for both.  Rain later in week so going out while sun shines...and warmer.

Good evening 

Brother arrived at 5:45 to pick me up.  Off to Drs office. Our apt was 6:3 and we were pulling out by 6:23.   I still couldn't eat but he stopped for a donut.  Headed to condo.  I noticed my device has an issue

  He called and they said come back.  Changed part of appartusout. Off to my town. First sto electric company. Didn't have what we needed would be difficult to get.  Then to sraosal district endless forms. Was this my husband!   No he has a lovely wife at home endless paperwork.  I had lost my homeowners. Trying to get it back. Then some food.  Then to my house. My first time inside. What a change. Still so much to do   headed back to turn in my device. Nope. Didn't think it finished. Keep it on.  I was ready to get it off.  Brother took me home. AC finally fixed brother and I talked about some items. We were both exhausted.  He went home to hopefully get some rest.  He said he didn't sleep well as he didn't want to oversleep.  Brother will turn in my device and head to meet with the contractor.  I know he has a list.  This is taking so long. Many missed deadlines.

Good morning friends ... lots of sunshine this morning but it is only 37 right now ... our high for today will be 54! ... we had some heavy thunderstorms with high winds last night but they were gone within a half hour ... other areas not so lucky.

kittyfan, it sounds like you had a hectic day yesterday ... I hope things will settle down with your test ... I bet your visit inside your house was bittersweet for you ... too bad it's taking longer than expected to finish up!

Happy Wednesday!  Our last day of April...four months of 2025 over....whoooosh!  I do like May though...😉.  The last two days have been so windy!  Bad hair days..😂.

Dullsville here too, Tootie.  Yesterday was a treat to start day seeing GD and GS.  As it turned out, I did not take GS to school...he walked...only less than a mile anyway.  DD sent text about traffic back up at school due to construction.  One entrance closed which made it bad.  Good thing they live close to school.  So, off  I went with GD taking an alternate route to her school.  But, returning I wasn't thinking and came back past high school.  What a traffic mess in all directions!!  Hope it gets better...GS might be walking for awhile.

kittyfan, is today a UB day?  Visit to house must have been bittersweet as Tootie said.  😕 Things never seem to go on schedule.  Have you and DB decided what to do when finally finished?

I am meeting a friend for lunch.  She still works so it won't be long.  I don't like 2-3 hours at a restaurant...love other friends that do but short and sweet is better for me...HA!
