It's been a whirlwind kind of day here ... gusts up to 70 mph and we broke a record from 1899 ... we hit 67 degrees!! in December??!!  our lights are flickering ... we have candles and flashlights/lanterns ready ... the winds should subside by 11pm.

Have a good night ...

Boy that was great service by UPS. My experience is they deliver as expected.

Boy that is tragic news about the weather. I have a friend is IL. She pasted on FB that debries from the Amazon facility was found in her area. 65 miles away,

Hard to believe LG is almost 2. But we have shared so much with our virtual friendship. Good times and times of loss.

It was windy today. Amazon delivered after dark last night. Went out to retrieve and almost blew away!

Had a UB type of day today. Didn't sleep well last night. Heard rain after midnight.

One of thecTS ladies is a member of the Catholic church. She said they are expected to return to in person. Virtual is not acceptable. I don't know the rules but virtual gives people an opportunity to participate.

Coffee ready shoutout to the trampoline and Ms.Molly.

Jake is covered up except for the tip of his nose. Holly is completely covered up. Cindy only goes under covers when I go to bed. She gets warm so doesn't stay long.

O: onion rings.

Good morning ~

So .sad for those in the path of these Tornados.  Hope everyone is safe and sound.

kittyfan, laughing at your coffee shoutout to the trampoline and Molly, the flying leaping kitty😄😅🤣  She got in some practice last night.  I, on the other hand got less sleep😄

Wow Tootie, you were 67?  We will be even cooler today - 62.  What's with crazy weather.?  Hard to believe LS is almost 2.  Did she grow fast or what?  I'll bet she's even cuter than ever.  Christmas is always fun with a 2 year old.

Glad you got in a windy walk walker. Do you think maybe all those goodies you enjoyed weighed you down so you didn't blow away😊 💨  Homemade goodies are worth every ounce!

I will enjoy another day to practice UB's.  Nice and quiet yesterday until DD and SIL came home - then the Canine Choir started up 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕  Scared the heck out of Molly - she flew under the bed.  She is coming along quite nicely and is getting along with Shadow and the routines that only cats know🥰

Good morning friends ... whew! what a storm! so far no damage to us except our swinging bench that we keep out tipped over (go figure! it's really too heavy to drag back to the shed but the wind knocked it over!!)

kittyfan, your pups sound so cute ... all covered and ready for bed!! ... our Diocese is trying to get people back into the church pews but is still doing virtual ... with everything that is going on/around ... I'm not going back yet! I'm really disappointed with some things that have gone on within our parishes.

cookie, I hope you get a quiet UB today ... I'm just picturing the Canine Choir 😂

walker, power stayed on but I didn't want to waste the Mimosas ... they were good! 😁

Have a good day ... today we'll see some sun and go up to 45! what a difference from yesterday ... pouring and passing.

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸☕️🎄

Happy Sunday to all....and 🙏s for those people in path of those bad storms/tornadoes.  Just awful...especially that one small town in KY pretty much gone.  Devastating!  And, I am concerned about finishing Christmas shopping?🙄.....not important!

kittyfan, you mentioned about going to church virtually allows people a way to participate.  Yes!  Very important to many people.  I am a practicing Catholic but don't always agree with church rules. (Rules meant to be broken?)  Here they are encouraging people to return but not requiring.   Let God be the judge!  Sometimes I get more from attending my Church on the Couch.  😊  I/we don't plan to go back with Christmas crowd but we will probably try to get to that daily, less crowded, Mass before Christmas at church we went to on my birthday.

SLOW DOWN QUEEN....on a roll here....must be the good coffee!  HA!  By the way....pass the onion rings...love those too....and thanks for quiche, Tootie....I'll have that as well but maybe not together.  😆

cookie, happy to hear that Molly and Shadow are getting along.....Canine Choir though..what a hoot.  You could have a funny video going in there.

OK....enough babbling for this morning from me...peace and love.....haha....pass that quiche....

Hello friends ... we had a sunny and windy day. I was putting things away in the basement and started rearranging some totes ... one thing led to another and I ended up straightening up the basement pantry shelves and my cupboard where I keep all my baking/overflow pans ... many of which should just be donated, but that's a project for another day.

walker, I love that you can visit that smaller, less crowded church for Mass once in a while ... I wish we had one around here ... but I do get more out of Mass watching it on TV.

Have a good night ...

Good evening. Went to church this morning. There is a couple with a young son. I know it is important gor kids to be in church but he is so distracting. Dad will put him on his shoulders and walk around. Today he was very loud. Dad finally took hin out but you could still hear him.

Then I heard that Helpless Hannah is leaving to join a mission church. I know that she will be leaving town and this is just breaking ties with us. Oh well.stood and visited for a long time after church. Church was decorated but no poinsettias yet.

It was cold this morning. Pleasant when I came home. Thankfully the winds had died down.

Plan to go to tS tomorrow. Hope yo empty bins but I didn't check the buckets in the sorting area. On Friday I put out a really cute Christmas outfit. A lady grabbed it up. Fun to see people enjoying finding cute things.

Yum---stuffing!!!

Good morning ~

kittyfan, Helpless Hannah is leaving - one less issue for you to resolve.  Hope she does well in her new church.  Never hearrd of a mission church. Does the church offer a Nursery for younger kids?

walker and Tootie, sounds like you both get more from the Church on the Couch COC) than in person.  Just think, you two could actually wear PJ's to church instead of going to Walmart😂  Either way, whatever you feel comfortable with is what's important. Sad for the Churches with all the COVID issues.

So sad to read/hear of the devastation in Kentucky and parts of the Midwest. Especially hard at Christmas time.  I am tired of hearing all the negative news with weather and crazy people causing horrible problems.  Makes sense to stay home with all that stuff going on.

Moanday and  besides general chores, a doc's appointment this morning.  Hopefully, I can make the next appointment to her new other office (10 miles from me) since this office is 25 miles one way.😊

The Flying Feline is hungry and staring at me 😺
