Winding down. Coffee bar is ready.

Nothing much happening in my corner. My neighbor posted on FB she was looking to hire someone to wrap presents for her. I guess the days of department stores with gift wrapping services is a thing of the past. Of course I haven't been to a major store of that type in a very long time.

Laughing at your crossed fruits kittyfan😂  Funny but nice.  Yes I agree the TX Red Grapefruit is the best!  Know you both will enjoy your fruit. I also haven't been in a B&M store since I moved here. On line for me.  I remember gift wrapping fondly as I used to do it when I was in HS.  Loved it!  Now not so much. 

Tootie, you are way too cold.  Right now it is 40 and it is cold outside.  We are supposed to be 68 today - perfect!  

Lab this morning and then home to UB with the massager on my back which is not easy to keep in place it is so bulky (think Cobra head) Better than the heating pad.

I remember seeing "gift wrappers" in the middle of the mall but haven't been in one in a couple of years ... I bet with Covid they don't do it ...

Our temps have dropped now and we're in for some cold for the rest of the week ... we're at 28 now and our high for today is 30!! this up and down weather literally gives me a headache!

Hey, cookie, you are right....paper is here!!!  Driver wants Christmas tips!  HA!  Seriously, I do understand delivery problems but if this is how it will be....sometimes early-sometimes late....I would rather cancel and read online.  Years ago we used to have it delivered on our porch....now it is tossed at end of driveway.  No fun in winter going out for it.....I'll let DH get it...😆...you want it..you get it. haha

Cold here too, Tootie....only 20's today!!  Inside day for me...good for wrapping.  I remember the gift-wrapping services too.  So many things have changed...sigh.

kittyfan, pretty funny about you and SIL with fruit gifts.  Great minds think alike, eh?

Good evening. I started the fruit gifts. Now we exchange fruit. Yes we could buy for ourselves but it a "thinking about you" opportunity. My neices look forward to their moms gift! I remember the first shipment. My brother got the package. Picked up my SIL with a piece of fruit. It was lucious.

Got my phone. Wasn't battery but issue with charging port. After I picked up phone walked over to Italian restaurant for a to go pizza.

Hi friends.....end of a relatively quiet day.  I did not feel like organizing, wrapping, etc, either, Tootie.  Mood better strike me soon so I'm not rushing at last minute.  I do have to get FL gift ready to ship this week.  We have to have our family Christmas here early since DS/DIL/3A's will be going to FL.  They haven't been able to go the last couple of years so happy for them.  Our gift....their dog...🙄...Joy to the World.  Oh well....my gift to them...dog care.  

kittyfan, I think your fruit exchange with SIL is fun to keep doing.  Traditions make us smile!

Tootie, I am with you - just can't get into Christmas wrapping or much of anything lately. 

Massager did not help my back after all.  I think it made it worse.  Heating pad is much better.  Pain is not going away and now have some pains in my chest - Afib symptoms?  Never had any before  Feel good in the morning, but as the day progresses, it gets worse.  Glad to be going to the doc Monday.

We got our first significant snow ... only an inch but apparently it is quite slippery out because we had a lot of rain and then the temps dropped and it snowed (glad I don't have to go out in it ... )
