C=Crockpot and Chicken broth

• 2 pounds pork tenderloin

• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

• ½ cup chicken broth

• 4 garlic cloves, minced

• 2 tablespoons brown sugar

• 1 tablespoon soy sauce

• 1 teaspoon dried thyme

• 1 teaspoon salt

• ½ teaspoon black pepper

Place pork in crockpot.

Mix remaining ingredients; pour over pork.

Cook LOW 2–3 hours to 145°F.

Rest 10 minutes; serve with juices.

Of my that looks yummy. Garlic makes almost everything better.  I think I would have to pass on the garlic 🧄 ice cream!

Brother is back in the hospital. He was in good spirits but still talking about coming this way. No way. I know his DW will handle him. She has no problem telling how the cow ate the cabbage.  He said she already set a nurse straight!!!!  Hopefully they can isolate the issue and he will follow doctors orders.   The hospital has a couch that makes into a bed but it is still difficult to rest.  With people coming and going.    Food is another issue.  

I hung out my fall wreath today. Wasn't totally happy with it but it will stay up until December when I will put Christmas 🎄 🎄 out. I can't believe we are already rolling through October.

oh no kittyfan, sorry to hear that DB is back in the hospital ... it sounds like DW has and will have things under control ... he may try to head your way but I think she will have the final say! ... you're right! time is flying by.

walker, lol about you not seeing your haircutter until Thanksgiving ... did you find a wig? 😄 ... sorry that she went "scissor crazy" and gave you a short cut!! so annoying!! ... maybe you need another bag of candy corn!!? 😉😄😂

Waiting for our phone call to let us know when our refrigerator will be delivered ... and then we can move things over to our coolers ... yesterday we put what we could in our fridge in the garage.

kittyfan, sorry to hear about DB being back in the hospital.  But, that is where he needs to be and, hopefully, he will have treatment he needs...and rest!  Maybe they could put a guard outside his door so he doesn't escape. 😉 DW has her hands full....good she has you as back-up.

HAHA....funny about needing another bag of candy corn, Tootie.  No wig but I am getting used to the shorter cut...easier to manage.  When it gets to the length I prefer, I should take a selfie to show for next haircut...THIS IS WHAT I WANT...NO SHORTER!  😂 Big day for you....new refrigerator.....you will do a happy dance everyday...good choice!

No news....need to get to grocery store....in a cooking rut...need new ideas....🤔....maybe pork tenderloin?

Good afternoon 

Brother had surgery this morning.  I talked to his DW.  The earliest he will be released is Sunday.  She has been at his side. I know she is running on fumes

Oh yes the dreaded time change. I was hopefully that was done.  I know dark comes earlier for you ladies but I enjoy the light.  

My last haircut was very short but I was ok with that.  But I have been surprised also.  I had one haircut that was really short. I greeted a man at church. Later his wife told me he was concerned I was having health issues!1. I did notice the look on his face but didn't think anything of it.   He was a retired chaplain who had served at a major cancer center so he had plenty of experience.  

I enjoy candy corn.  I also like those pumpkins. I am not a pumpkin fan.   

Oh yes the what to fix.  Tootie hopefully your fridge has arrived and you are able to get it cooled down and ready to use.  

I know it is too early to close the kitchen. One more grill sounds good.

kittyfan, I am sorry to hear that your DB had to have surgery.  I hope he has a good recovery and prognosis.  Definitely needs to slow down now.  I am sure you are concerned as well.  More prayers as my list seems to grow everyday.  He is a good man....can't keep the good down!

Tootie, refrigerator in and cooling for you?  Hope you are pleased.

No other news .... I did pick up a pork tenderloin today and will try your recipe this weekend @northiie57 .

Hi walker 👋

Refrigerator is in place, chilled and filled up! ... this one is a bit smaller than my old one and because the space is horizontal rather than vertical, it's a big difference on where to put things ... I have it filled but may end up moving things around ... we do have one issue, a small dent in the door!! ... not a bad one, one of those dents that are noticeable in different lighting/angles ... they ordered a new a door and it will take 4-6 weeks for it to come in! 🙄

Happy Friday!  Hope you have a good one! ☀️😎 Trees continue to be colorful.  Interesting how each year is different and how they change.  There is one tree in our neighborhood that is a beautiful red every year.  It takes the prize...size and all.  The one I saw that was half red and half green turned brown and leaves are gone now.

kittyfan, hope DB is doing ok after his surgery.  He has people he doesn't even know wishing him well...😉.

Tootie, glad you have the new refrigerator...now to get used to it.  And, get a new door...disappointing!  But, it will be ok...just like your chair...no luck with new this year.. 😖.

Does anyone on assembly lines care anymore?  Used to take pride in the finished product.  Oh well...by the holidays all will be good.

Did I tell you Lucy and Desi are taking another road 🚗 trip?  Back to Georgia to meet DS and finish some projects.  We'll leave after Halloween.  Hopefully, weather will be good. 🤞

Thank you for your kind thoughts brother is doing well.  Of course his first question was how soon can he drive and fly!!

He has dietary restrictions for now.  Reintroduce foods brothers dW is on the case.   He is too thin. Needs to put on a bit 

Oh a road trip.  Fellas doing their thing. Hopefully weather will be good. Time change may affect your schedule!

So glad to hear that DB is doing better, kittyfan ... and I am not the least bit surprised that he is ready to get out and about! and I'm sure that DW will hold him back  ... maybe he'll finally see how fun UB's are!! 😉

Lucy and Desi on the road again 🎼🎶 ... hopefully the weather is good for your travel ... and maybe you'll get to see some colorful trees (or maybe too late? 🤷‍♀️) but if your weather is anything like we're having, you should be good ... the weathergirl just said no snowflakes in the forecast through mid November ... yay!! 

Freezer is full now! and even though this new refrigerator is smaller cubic feet, I feel like I can get a lot more in this freezer!! ... we're at 35 degrees but will go up to another sunny 62 degree day!! 😎
