Good evening

Oh yes the blood work.  I have a huge bruise from Monday.  She had a bit of a issue as I hadn't had enough water.  I have had so many blood draws I appreciate a quick and easy!  

I think my laptop chose today to crater on me.  I will wait until next month until my tech support is back in town to replace it.  Always something!   Brother called this afternoon. He said it was 104 where he was. I talked to his DW she was out and about.   Have been watching Little League softball 🥎.  My dad was a huge baseball fan and I enjoyed watching games with him.  

Always decision time. I always over pack.  Sounds like a great trip.

Good morning friends ... up a little earlier this morning ... kitchen opened ... button pushed!

kittyfan, ugh, I hate when they have issues trying to draw blood!! not fun!! ... oh boy, possibly a new computer? new learning ... or maybe DB can fix it.

walker, haha, how do you stop someone mid cut?? "ok, stop, you've cut enough!" 😄😂 ... grow hair, grow! 😉 ... glad you were able to get in and out for your appointment ... best kind ... busy packing day for you ...

I have to get to the store this morning ... kids are coming tomorrow so I need to stock up on my fruit and veggies ... we'll have a pleasant 74 degree today ... perfect! 😊

Tootie, I laughed at your comment on stopping haircut...haha....I did mention as she was cutting the back..."seems like you are cutting a lot off there"...she kind of chuckled.....snip, snip.  It really isn't too bad...maybe I'll be glad traveling....less trouble.  Once again....we talked too much.  

kittyfan, tech troubles....very frustrating.  Hope you can still keep in touch here.

Busy day.....laundry, pack.....run to store for a few things....see you there, Tootie, but I'll be flying through. 😉

Might get a speeding-cart ticket...😂.

HAHA....that was probably me in Aisle 4, Tootie.  I have noticed more men in the stores lately....and they are slow!  Get out of my way...🤣....or I knocked you over.

Thanks for good wishes on trip...🚗🤞.  We decided to get up and go when ready in the morning.  I won't have time to get on here.  I take food in car and we wheel through McD's for coffee.  Stopping in Kentucky for night.  I'll be in touch from there.

I got the results of my lab work already...wow.  From what I see it all looks pretty good.  At least good enough to go on a trip and eat junk food...😂😉.  I am relieved...still has to go through doctor and I'll see her in August.

A mimosa sure sounds good but might put me on an all afternoon UB! 😆 Too much to do yet.....back to it.

Happy trails until we meet again!   Of course you packed food!   Of course with the cost of eating out and the convenience I do understand. I would do the same.  Kentucky makes me think of the horses!   Is the GS the pilot or another.  I know you will have a lovely time.  

Tootie:  enjoy your duties. Hopefully they can spend time outside. Sprinklers are such fun.   

TS Bertha in the gulf.  That was my grandmother's name.  One I rarely hear.  I am watching Softball.  Raining about an hour away from here.  Game tied. Teams pulled off the field.

kittyfan, I saw on the news all the rain that Bertha was dumping on Texas!! ... my grandmother had a friend that was named Bertha! ... haven't heard that name in years either and a lot of the older names are coming forward ...

I'm sure walker is making a quick "run through" check to make sure she has everything they need for their trip ... and then off they go ... 🚗

No plans today other than running around and playing with the kids ... Sunny and warm today ... high of 82! and the weekend is supposed to be the same!!

Happy Friday!  We made it to Kentucky.  It was a good trip...only construction ....of course, so a few slow-ups.

They gave us a suite so we are pleased.  Dinner soon...which they serve here.....drinks, dinner and breakfast part of room charge.  👍  Who wants to get in car again and go to a restaurant....ha...not me!

DH ready to go.....back when I return.

Q ..... Quiche?  On menu here?  Maybe I could suggest it.

Back again....dinner ok....time at happy hour in the lounge...👍👍....fun....because DH spotted veterans on the elevator (hats).....so DH was on a roll with them. Geez...Mr. Friendly...🙄.   Then another guy walked up who is a Marine...more talk....yikes...these guys are a real brotherhood.  I just kept sipping on my wine....ha..enjoying their fun talking about military experiences.

Tootie, hope you had a good day with kids.  kittyfan, glad you are not directly affected by Bertha....that is an old name!  And, yes, GS coming is the pilot.  DS said he won't arrive until late Sunday due to work and has to leave Wednesday, I think.  

I think DS told me  he has pretty good internet at house...🤞...I can keep in touch.

The kids did go through the sprinkler but didn't stay in it too long, they were cold ... it was a warm day but the humidity was low, maybe that's why ... today we'll have another nice day ... no plans, but I think I may do some laundry 😏
