Happy Monday!  Another cloudy day but feels cooler...slight smoke....rain later...hope that washes it away.

Sounds like you had a good party day, Tootie.  Kids can run and play so adults can talk...😆👍.

Yesterday I watched that big soccer match with Spain and Argentina.  Great game.  Not that interested in the whole thing but final games are usually exciting.  This one sure was!  I think the goalie for Argentina was the MVP.  He stopped so many goals.  In end, Spain win 1-0.   USA put on a very good tournament.

I do have a busy week ahead to get ready for trip...errands to run....always laundry and, HOPEFULLY, haircut!  Well, that will happen ....with someone.  😉 UPDATE!  I got an appointment for Wednesday!  Hope it holds! 🤞 Leaves me one extra day as backup time!  😁

Summer is definitely here. Miserable hot day.  

Brother said 7. I knew he wouldn't be here then but I was waiting. Finally arrives. Off to Drs apt.   Plan was to meet his DW for lunch. She thought she was heading to a migraine and didn't want to drive. I agree. I really didn't want to go to the selected restaurant. We tried last month but it didn't work out.  So brother stops to take care of a matter at a store. Then he stopped to pick up food.  He is heading on a jet plane tomorrow.  Said he had his flight, rental car. And hotel arranged. He will be back on Saturday.  They will all head home as he has a doctos appointment on Monday.  His schedule makes my head spin.  I was happy to be home.  He had come on Sunday night and took care of some things.

I was able to keep my windows opened all day yesterday!! ... it was cool enough and we had no smoke!! ... today, more of the same except they are calling for thunderstorms this afternoon ... we'll see if that happens ... kids are coming today and I know they are going to want to be outside.

Good morning friends ... kitchen opened ... button pushed!!

kittyfan, I can try to send you some cool air ... our high for today is 70, smoke free!! ... our kids start school after Labor Day and the stores are stocked with school supplies ... that area was was pretty crowded with moms and kids selecting what they want! ... I even saw some Halloween candy 😯

walker, yay! you get to have your haircut! things are moving along for your trip!

We had rain on and off all day yesterday ... we were able to get out in the morning for a little while but then it was indoors for the rest of the day ... 

Today is DH's last PT session!! 🥳 ... he is still doing good ... can't bend past 90 degrees but next week he goes to the doctors and hopes he'll be cleared to do that!!

Happy Wednesday!  Right behind you, Tootie.  I have to go for bloodwork this morning.  It is for my annual check up in early August after our trip.  I thought it would be better to go before trip when I eat differently.  Who knows....what will be, will be.

Finally, I turned off A/C today!  HIp, hip, hooray....open window day!  Our temperature will be in 70's. 👍😁 I guess it will be awhile before it is cool there, kittyfan.  

Our schools start around third week in August, I think.  But, GS and GD will not start until after Labor Day due to construction at their school.

I have noticed Halloween candy and decorations are out.🙄 No wonder time flies so fast....everything is "hurried up"!  

Better get going....busy morning...haircut later...yippee.

Hi there.....all appointments done!  Good thing I remembered I had to fast for bloodwork so I changed to an early appointment.  IN and OUT...great...now I hope results are good. 🤞 Came home and took a walk.  Beautiful day!

Later I went for my haircut....seems we had a lot to talk about so.....that means shorter haircut....oh well.. I was overdue for it.  How do you stop someone mid-cut?  Ha!

Now...onto organizing for trip.  Taking a long UB because I know my routine will be different next week.
