Happy Thursday!  And the beat continues....the HEAT is ON!  Looks like next week we might see 80's....funny, never thought I would consider that cool.

kittyfan, quite an honor for DB to have a building named after him.  With that honor, he is entitled to voice his opinion anytime...😂....and he will!

Tootie, very happy for your DH that he is doing well! 👏👏 Two weeks and ....almost...off and running.  Must be your good TLC!  👍😆 I laughed that lawn is not up to his liking....boy, I understand!  Good idea to give kids popsicles outside for rinse off in sprinkler.  

No news....no plans....just stay in and be cool....thankful for that!  Have a nice day!

Brother arrived early to take care of an issue before going to Drs appointment.  Two new doctors in a month and both so young!

kittyfan, that darn laundry always seems to be around ... we can never get a break from it! ... I did some yesterday, mine are folded but still waiting to be put away!! 😄😂 ... 

walker, I saw on the news yesterday, because of the extreme heat,  they were going to decide if the PBS Concert was going to go on ... they are going to make a decision today ... we'll have to keep our eyes opened!! 👀

DH got some good news yesterday at therapy ... he can cut his grass!! 🥳... she told him it would probably take him twice as long because he would get tired (I guess he can make a day of it 😉😄😂)... but now with this heat it really hasn't grown and doesn't need a cut, but he at least knows he can cut it when necessary!! ... oh happy day!! 

Another hot and humid day ... high of 85 ... no plans to go out ... it's another good day to stay indoors with the A/C.

Happy Friday!  🥵 Oven 😉 still on high!  Maybe we are set on broil now...ha!  A/C still humming....👍.

Laughing about laundry always being there for us....that and grocery store runs...😁.  Some things in life are constant.

Two new young doctors, kittyfan....might be enjoyable...ha!  
As we get older, everyone seems younger. ☹️ (ha...not seem younger they ARE! 😂)

Oh, happy dance at your house, Tootie, DH has all clear to mow lawn.  Great news all around.  

I did not know that the concert tonight might be cancelled.

But, I would totally understand if they did...this heat is brutal....100+ there too.  Not good.  And, the President is at Mt. Rushmore tonight.  I loved visiting there so fun to watch the coverage.

Hello friends ... just read that the Concert will be on tonight ... PBS .. 8EST ... 7CST ... 

We had two thunderstorms of heavy rain that lasted about 5 minutes each ... and now it's blue skies, hot humid and windy!!

I haven't really done much today ... UB's took over!! 😄😂

Enjoy the concert ...

Ready to watch the concert here.👍🇺🇸🥁🎺🎻🪉

We had a quick storm blow through this afternoon.  One minute it was bright outside and next....like the lights went out....storm came in fast.  Later a breeze picked up, was cloudy so I put my walking shoes on and got out!  Good timing as sun came out and humidity went up.  I have not walked since Sunday.

Today was my laundry day.....done, folded and put away....yeah me!  But, those laundry robots would sure be nice.

OK.....ready for concert ....good luck to all outside for concert and activities.  It will be very enjoyable from A/C home comfort.    Enjoy!   See you tomorrow.  🇺🇸

I just watched the concert. 

Brother came in earlier. He is heading home tomorrow but went to store for me. We had a document we needed to complete. He couldn't find all the information needed. Called and office closed until Tuesday.  While he was here his DW called. She said they  had two rounds of quick heavy rain.  She and I have the same issue with our laundry watching us!   Brother will be by on his way to airport to bring me something.  He and his DW and the dog will be back as they have appointments 

I 

did see on the news the Philadelphia activities were cancelled due to the heat.  I understand. Difficult to keep hydrated. 

July 4 festivities will be quiet. I will watch TV to see what is happening around the country. I for one will be happy when all the wedding talk is over. 

Kitchen closed.  Star spangled coffee on tap.  Maybe some sparklers. I loved those as a kid although I know now they were dangerously Hot 🔥

walker, we switched over to the coverage at Mt. Rushmore ... it's  beautiful there ... 

No plans for today, we decided to stay home, and we may see some rain, but it's a "cooler" day, haha!, high of 80 ... there's a nice breeze right now so I opened all the windows to get some fresh air in and give the A/C a much needed break ...

HAPPY SATURDAY!  Lots going on everywhere but sounds like we will all celebrate quietly.  I'm happy to stay home and watch celebrations/history on TV.  The concert was good last night.  We switched to Mt. Rushmore coverage too but I didn't stay awake for much.

DH and I were talking about how many states we have visited.  DH has been to all but one, Nevada.  I have been to all but three, Nevada, Rhode Island and Alaska.  America is Beautiful ..... something good everywhere.

I'm with you both on the wedding talk....enough!  Happy they are happy......have a happy life.....bye!  Wonder when pictures will come out with details now.  They did keep everything pretty quiet and private.  Venue was a little over the top for me.....ha....I wouldn't know 1000 people to invite! 😂

Brother came this morning to bring me a item.  Then started talking about taxes!  He said he got up at 5.  And of

F course I asked if he mowed the grass. He said yes.  Men and their lawns!  He dashed off to the airport. 

I don't have any news. I personally was a bit disappointed about the holiday programming.
