Happy Sunday!  Happy Father's Day to dads out there...and remembering those who have passed too.  
(I picked green for the "lawn guys"...ha!) 

Late night in the laundry room for you, kittyfan.  You probably had machines to yourself.  Too bad about DB's delay.  Although he is probably used to the inconveniences, it is still annoying.  Yes to resting day for him.

Glad you are having a nice ☀️ day there, Tootie.   Maybe you and DH will have time on the patio.  He'll enjoy his breakfast with family.  One week tomorrow...👏👏....he got the surgery behind him! 

No sign of 🐢Mr. Turtle🐢 yesterday.  I really paid attention in area where I "bumped" into him.  I was afraid of seeing remains in the street if he tried crossing and didn't make it.

But, all clear....phew! (or whew! 🤔)

I'm glad DH grilled his Father's Day steak last night.  Today rain moves in this afternoon.  No plans but kids will stop over.

Hope all dads had a good day.  I was talking to brothers DW. I could hear him talking about a tv. Then she told me he had gone out to the patio with his blower. He had a blower here and also one at the house. He only has one speed moving!  

We have been having toasty temps with triple digit feels like. 

I popped into the Q yesterday starting their Christmas 🎄 push.

I have laundry 🧺 again. It should be done.

We had beautiful weather yesterday ... in the afternoon, after DS and family left to do their own thing, DD stayed for a little while more and we took DH for a ride down to the water ... we didn't get out but "people and boat watched" from the car 😄

We'll have a rainy, rainy day with a high of 66! ... looks like I'll have to dodge raindrops on my way to BG's graduation ... and because it's Moanday Monday, once back home, I'll join you with laundry, kittyfan ...

Happy Monday!  June is flying by....😟....having these Christmas shows on the Q so early isn't helping.  Too much too soon.  I caught some of it as well, kittyfan.  Let's enjoy SUMMER!  

kittyfan, I laughed about DB and his blower.  I think that is one of my DH's favorite "toys".  It is a handy tool but wish it could be quieter. 😂

People and boat watching sounds good to me, Tootie.  Hope your DH enjoyed that outing. Is he getting anxious to mow his lawn?  Big day for BG today...have fun watching the kids program.  Let summer fun begin...

Oh graduation 🎓 🎓 🎓. Glad he had a lovely outing.  

I didn't realize yesterday was the longest day!   This year is zipping along. 

One of the ladies in dominos lost her DH.  She is now widowed twice. He had been in fragile health. She had lost both of her beloved dogs in the last six months. On Thursday she was able to adopt a new cutie.  A rescue at the best time.  As brother always says we know not the day or the hour. He had given her some advice on a van. I don't know if she bought one but he shared his knowledge. 

When I was doing laundry I noticed a door was missing their wreath.  Today I saw maintenance there. Another example of inappropriate placements.  She had only been here maybe two months. I saw her one time.  I went to pick up lunch.  A ladies son was picking up.  He had to go back to retrieve the proper container.  I didn't have the correct combo but I said it was from a weekend visit and that is always a new crew.   They have implemented a new system entering orders on a tablet device. I am sure tracking is more efficient.    It looks terribly uncomfortable.  Will see if this sticks. I have seen various systems.

I try not to watch the news. Feel like temps are too 🔥 🔥 🥵

How sad for your friend at dominoes, kittyfan ... glad she was able to get a rescue though ... good company for her. So you have to bring specific containers to pick up your food?? hope the new system on tablets works out ...

yes, DH is getting very antsy to get out to his lawn and plants ... he wants to do more than his exercises ... he is getting around a lot better, especially for being just one week out ... 

BG's graduation was short and sweet! all the kindergarten classes were there and they sang about 4 songs ... they had a small gathering in each classroom afterwards, but only 2 guests could go back so I headed back home ... had to park several blocks away ... next year both kids will be at the same school.

We'll have a sunny 73 degree day ... yesterday it felt like a fall day here! (sorry kittyfan, I know you are roasting!)

Happy Tuesday!  We are having a cool morning but into 70's this afternoon.  That probably sounds good to you, kittyfan.  Next week I think we are going to get some of the heat from the south.  Back to A/C days....yes, it is..."Hello Summer".....☀️😎🥵.

Tootie, "short and sweet" are the best programs...ha!  I'll bet BG was happy to have you there.  Very happy to hear DH is doing well.  You know he is getting better when he is anxious to get back to his chores.

kittyfan, that is sad about your friend from dominoes.  A new pet will be comforting.  And, the revolving door at SO goes round and round....wonder why, eh?  Soon you will be the longest resident there.  I would think some people might have a problem with using a tablet for ordering.  Good thing you have computer skills.

Hi there.....no news but did hear earlier about a truck turned over in Texas, I think, with BEES 🐝🐝🐝 in it!  Lookout, kittyfan and DB! Maybe they were able to contain most of them....hope so.  Guess I should look up the story.

I did see the bee report.  Hopefully many were recovered. That was a lot of bees.  

Graduation at that age is over very quickly. Good for all involved. Tootie I know your DH is ready .to do lawn duties but he may need to hire out until he is released by the doctor.  I know easier said than done. 

Quiet day here.  Brother and I texted early. I haven't talked to him.  I know he is busy. I know of several items he was attending to.  Since he does all the grocery shopping etc he is always at the grocery.  

In the courtyard there is a bench. My neighbor is a big fisherman. He had his equipment spread out doing stuff. Lunch time bhe leaves. Everything strewn about. Someone comes and wants to use the bench to sit!   He thinks he is entitled.

You sure do have some characters at SO ... the fisherman who takes over the bench is rude! just move your things so others can use it ... DS is on call to do the lawn work.

We're supposed to get some warmer, summer temps next week too, walker ... hope not too hot, though!! 😉 I saw about the bees!! yikes!! I wouldn't want to be around there ...

DH graduated from walker to cane yesterday ... he's getting around pretty good ... it's amazing to see the work involved from the therapists ... I people watch when I take DH 😄 ... we're going to be watching the kids two days a week over the summer (sometimes one day, depending on DIL's schedule) ... Friday is the first day ...
