Happy Thursday! Happy Garbage Day here...🚛..ha!  Happy morning after stormy night.  Last night about 9:30 the tornado sirens went off.  I had just gone to bed. 😳 Then both DH and I got alerts on our phones.  I turned on TV and sure enough....our county under warning...TAKE COVER!  🙀 I did go to basement but not for long and it was clear.  This has been a year for record books with tornadoes in Illinois.  Hope weather calms down!

Now, good luck wishes for two PT patients!  Tootie, another good day for DH...👍.  Of course, he has good at-home care too...😉. kittyfan, hope your PT helps you as well.

Thanks for rarebit description, Tootie.  That is not what I expected.

Tonight is neighborhood Food Truck night.  We don't go to all but will tonight.....two trucks ....one dinner-fast food and one dessert...never had that before...😋😋.

I did hear about severe weather in the Midwest.  

I had two appointments today.  Brother was here.  H

The second appointment texted she was running behind.  He considered going to the grocery but decided not to.  She finally arrived and he discussed my shower issue. It is less than ideal.   He left to go to the store. I was thinking of taking a UB when he comes in.  He had been to the grocery and also Walmart. One item is not at the grocery. Not sure why but they are close. He dashed off to attend a meeting.  His DW called me as I was eating my salad he brought me. Brought me up to date.  She said the meeting was not going smoothly.   He delayed his trip home but is leaving tomorrow.   When he was leaving he had a box he was returning to Amazon. I saw him put his phone in the box and close it. I reminded him his phone was there.  He is just juggling too much.  While the PT was here he was on the phone and computer doing business. I said he was the busiest retired person I know!  He said he had retired three times!  Still way too busy.

Oh kittyfan, I hope that DB remembered to take his phone out of that box before it got taped up and returned 😉 ... I don't know how DB manages everything that he does!! ... hope you can get your shower issues taken care of!

Glad everything is ok with you and the warnings ... I know we had a super windy day here yesterday! no hanging pots to take down but still had to move our two other potted ones into a corner to get them out of the wind ... how about you? ... how was the truck food yesterday? curious as to what the dessert truck had?

Things are "rolling" good around here, second round of PT today ... and no garbage truck watching for me today, they're off for Juneteenth ... I'll have to wait until tomorrow 😏

Happy Friday!  Let the sun shine in....pretty morning here.

Short on time...will come back.....we are meeting DIL's parents for breakfast.  We have not seen them in awhile so looking forward to it.

Food truck was good but not best dinner items (especially for DH)...grilled cheese varieties....French Fries...but, dessert....yum....cannolis (sp?)...different varieties...tried strawberry one....and a turtle one....😋😋.  Not a healthy dinner but good!  

Gotta go....back later.....

I can't get used to this Juneteenth holiday.  And, no garbage pick up?  Guess it means no mail too....oh well...usually junk anyway.

Glad things are "rolling" 😉 along well there, Tootie.  DH is a star patient.  Going well for you too? haha  Maybe you can both make BG's K graduation next week?

kittyfan, we used to call you our Busy 🐝....but DB is King of Busy 🐝s!  Guess that is the way he is wired...no changing him.  

Breakfast was delicious and enjoyable with in-law friends.  
I had Eggs Benedict....yum.  After that I went grocery shopping.  Returned home, put away groceries and took my walk.  I usually keep an eye on sidewalk for fear of falling.  Part way around I was looking at a house being painted.  Then I kicked something.....it was a small turtle!  Yikes!  Poor thing!  Boy, was it lost.  There is a wetland on other side of street but I was not going to pick it up and take it over.  You are on your own, buddy....good luck crossing the street.

All for now.....I have enjoyed a long UB but better move around a bit or I lock up...🤣.   See you tomorrow.

Brother is back home.  He said airport was very busy.  He is such a frequent flyer he knows to be early and always has something to do.

kittyfan, I bet DB knows all the "in's and out's" at the airport and can manuever around rather quickly ... I did some laundry yesterday that needs to be put away ... ugh! 

walker, I'm sure Mr. Turtle found his way back home ... I'm with you, "you are on your own" 🐢... glad you had a good breakfast and time with the in-laws ... it's always good/fun to get along ... makes life a whole lot easier! ... I don't think DH will be able to go the graduation ... he thought about it, but it's a matter of him getting in and out/sitting comfortably in the seats in an auditorium ... since I'm not good with technology, I'll have DS/DIL video it.

We had some heavy rains and winds yesterday ... it blew off a lot of leaves/smaller branches from the trees ... today we'll have a sunny 71 degree day ...

I'll be doing laundry today since yesterday was busy.  Normally, Friday is a laundry day.  But, funny thing, it waits for you....😂.  And, I'll take my walk to see if  Mr. Turtle made his way across street....or somewhere safe.

kittyfan, I heard about a lot of rain and flooding in TX area.

Glad DB got on his way ok.  Airport personnel should know him by name now.  

Tootie, DH is doing so well it wouldn't be smart to go to the graduation....too soon.  That makes sense.  Video will be good with a full report from BG too.  😉 I had to laugh about taking video.  I would probably have a video of ceiling or the floor...haha.

Good evening. Actually it is Sunday morning. I am waiting on the dryer.

Brothers DW called me earlier. She said brother did not get home until 7.  His flight was at noon.  Delayed taking off then went to the border and had to circle due to weather vshecsaid he was lounging today.  I know he was tired vhe had a busy week they were having heavy rain today.

I think the graduation may not be a good idea. He will need to be comfortable to transfer to the vehicle and seating is not usually comfortable.

Walker:  hopefully Mr. Turtle is back home.

No other news. Quiet day here.

We will have a sunny 74 degree day ... I'm going to see if DH wants to sit out on the patio for a little while ... he's been "pacing back and forth" inside and doing good ... the kids are bringing breakfast for dad later on ..
