Thinking of you, Tootie, and DH...with a prayer that all goes well today.  Agree with kittyfan, hope DH is a good patient.  Guys can be difficult...ha...hopefully, not yours. 

Quiet day yesterday but I am starting to gather things in my "holding room" (aka dining room) for a church rummage sale later in July. Drop off is in mid-July so I want to be ready.   I am not one for garage sales.  I have tried a few....not worth it.  I would rather donate.

Good evening 

We had a crazy weather night. Emergency broadcast at 1:00 am. I was up but lots of people were not.  Lots of rain. Heavy in areas. Some flooding. I understand water was in some apts. I was fine. I did have a frog.  Probably came in the doggie door

I am sure it found its way out. 

I have been seeing lots of birds. I would love a feeder but not practical.  One day I have a pair of cardinals on the fence.  I have seen a female several times

Yes the church sale is so much better. Garage sales are lots of work.  Volunteering at the TS saw so much leaving every week.

Tootie, hope all went well yesterday.  I know you will be busy helping DH for awhile.  We'll be anxious to hear from you.

I saw weather in your area, kittyfan...rain and more rain.  Now hurricane season starts too. Funny about the frog..😳...glad it found its way back out.  Happy to hear you have birds stopping by and you don't have to feed them.

I had to buy more seed yesterday ...💰...costs more because I buy special types.

Good morning friends ... long day, but it's done!! surgery went well and we were home by 1pm ... he's doing ok, very stubborn and doesn't like to ask for help (which he needs a LOT of right now! (and I'm not complaining)) ... right now he's having issues getting out of his chair and gets frustrated! but I'm sure in a couple days, he'll get the hang of it!! 

ugh kittyfan, a frog??!! I would not be in that house until I knew for sure that that frog was gone ... I do not like frogs at all!!

walker, I totally agree about garage sales ... lots of work and then people want your things for nothing ... we used to do a block sale many, many years ago ... was great for getting rid of baby clothes and toys!

Thank you both for your well wishes and thoughts! 💗 I'll try to post daily (I do enjoy the down time 😉)

Tootie, happy to hear from you with update.  They don't waste time.....definitely....in and out!  Home by 1:00...wow!

Good news that all went well.  Now I will wish you both extra patience in coming days.   Two peas in a pod...my DH would be the same....stubborn...don't ask for help.  
Time for a mimosa? 🤣

Wow home so quickly.  Amazing. Hope he does well.

Brother called me this morning. Did I want to go to the house. About an hour. Two hours later he finally arrives!  We had a lovely afternoon.  He was laying on the couch on his lap top.  I looked over and he was asleep. He didn't sleep long but a power nap.      He was dealing with multiple issues. He took me home. Said he would see me in the morning for an appointment.  

My DH was very needy when he was ill.  I on the other hand want to be left alone. 

Yes SPEEDY recovery is in order. Closing kitchen. Coffee ☕.

DH had a great day yesterday! he was able to get up and walk through the house and he was very adamant about doing his exercises ... we'll see how he does today, it's Day 1 of physical therapy! 😯

kittyfan, glad that you are able to get over to your house and spend some time ... is it all done now? ... 

walker, yes ... patience is a virtue 😉 and so far, so good!!

Happy Wednesday!  Rainy day ahead here with storms later.  Last week we had heavy rain and power outage for some.  Yesterday a neighbor told me that several in neighborhood had water in their basements.  April was rainy, May was dry and now June has been rainy.

Good news on DH, Tootie.  Hope therapy goes well now.

I have heard recovery from hip surgery is better than knee surgery.  

kittyfan, sounds like you had nice afternoon at house.  Any more plans for it?  Sell it?  Sounds comfortable for DB...good he took a power nap....he should move in, eh?

No news in my world......so, on with day....ahhhh, coffee is good...👍.

Today. Brother was here early. When the door bell rang Mr. Jake is smiling and heading to the door. Ni had told brother that he thinks anyone coming to the door is to see him.  He saw him in action today.  Then he thought he needed to sit in my lap.  

I hope Mr Tootie had a good experience. 

It has been toasty here. Chances of rain through the weekend.

I had a long conversation with brothers DW. Brother looked really tired today. I know he has lots of balls he is juggling. 

I have more appointments tomorrow.  

No other news in my corner.

Therapy went very well (at least for now ... she said she was going easy for his first visit 😯) and he is still doing good! 

A rainy morning and then the sun should come out with a high of 72!! ... I never had rarebit either but checked it out on google ... toast with a cheesy sauce made with beer/ale, mustard, worcestershire sauce and then grilled until bubbly and golden ... sure sounds good!!
