Goid evening 

We are having rain and possible bad weather in the area.  

We are forced to purchase our carryout items. Brother calls them Dollar Tree but not those prices!   It's a racket.  Your turn them in they run them through dishwashing and give you clean ones with your items. I did return my errant lid but I did not appreciate the attitude I got when I didn't have it with me. I had seen them send someone back to get a container.  The chef has been out of town.  Wondered in and got hit with complaints from one lady.  I couldn't identify with her complaints but he was clearly uncomfortable and looking for an escape. I guess the honeymoon is over!!!

Thank you for explaining your container situation kittyfan ... not sure why they would get so upset over containers?!! like you said/did "I'll bring it next time" (end of story!) ... it sounds like that are some tough "complainers" at SO ... hope it doesn't sent the chef packing ... 

We did pretty good with flowers yesterday too, walker! ... pricey is right, but worth it!! ... they still had a big selection with really nice looking flowers ... no hanging baskets but we have them planted in pots on the patios and some in the garden out in front ... one of the baskets we bought was already made up with about 6 different flowers ... it's called a "cut flower basket" ... when the flowers are in bloom you can cut them and bring them inside, and the flowers outside will bloom again ... not sure that is something I would do but it's a pretty cool idea!! ... I've never heard of the Dipladenia (your spelling was pretty darn close 😁😉) , so I went to Google ... that's a very pretty plant, I can see why you want one! ... let the watering begin!!

Happy Wednesday!  😎  Let the flowers grow!  Tootie, glad you had success with flower shopping too.  I love the idea of the "cut flower basket"....I'll look forward to hearing about that during summer.  Now you and DH can sit on patio during his recovery from surgery looking at nice flowers.  We'll be thinking of you next week.  Best wishes to DH.  🙏

kittyfan, interesting how the "wheel turns" at SO.  I am really surprised at bringing your own containers.  And, there are always the complainers around.  Maybe they need to start serving mimosas there...😂😂😂.

No other news besides flowers here...ha....going for a pedicure this morning.  After that...??..🤷‍♀️.

Thanks for the well wishes for DH, walker ... he is getting anxious to get this done! ... he's out now giving his lawn "one last cut before surgery" and he has high hopes of doing the next cut 🙄 ... he is not one to sit around (I have DS on stand by 😄😂) he's very stubborn and doesn't like to ask others to help him out ... but ... we'll see!! 😉

.....😂😂....Two Peas in a Pod...my DH the same...can't sit and waste time....although he does like his UB after lunch...ha!  He is a do-it-yourself guy too which sometimes drives me nuts!   Good luck there with your patient next week.  Hope you get an early time in....back home same day.

I got my pedicure.....toes look much better.  Gal wanted to know if I was going to a party.  No, I just like to look at pretty toes....🤣.. I like pretty fingers too but kind of a waste of money for me .....hands in water too much.  Manicures when it is special occasion.

Of course Mr. Tootie was mowing. Hope he does well.  In and out. Pretty amazing.  Yes brother would have to mow.  His other habit is to vacuum before he walks out the door .  When we were at my house I had gone to the bathroom and saw he had the vacuum out and ready. He called me about nine this morning. I was up and moving. He was still lounging. I told him he needed a pajama day.  He said he had to go to the grocery and other stops.  

Lunch was a miss today.  I was surprised tm:  milko see only three of us. Usually more. But I pick and choose.  One lady got snippy she had to wait a minute. It wasn't ready. Some people

Thank you for the wishes for DH, kittyfan ... I'm kind of nervous about the in and out ... I can't imagine. ... and of course, DB would vacuum before he leaves the house 😄 ... it amazes me at the things people get mad about ... (you'll still get your lunch ...)

Happy Thursday!  Sun is shining....coffee ready...ahhhh....life is good! 😊 Little things make me happy....birds, flowers and pretty toes..ha!

That is interesting about DB vacuuming before leaving, kittyfan.  Just like having lawn mowed.  Everything neat and tidy!  I do like having my house clean before I leave on a trip.....nice to walk into a clean house.

 No news.....off to store today...HI HO HI HO It's off to the store I go.....😂.....coffee kicking in...😉.

The cut and flower basket is interesting. I know you have different flowers to enjoy that won't survive in our heat.  

Brother called me from the airport. He is speaking at a conference.  He is a pro at this. He sounded really tired at first but we shared some laughs.  Not sure when he is going home I think Saturday.  The 12th he will be back my way for appointments.  

I was watching the spelling bee. Boy those words. The final two had both published books. Both were of Indian heritage. I know other countries have different emphasis on education.  Both were obviously gifted.
