Good evening 

I got up this morning to the lawn guys working. However they didn't cut the dog yard.  Brother will tell Management.  I had stepped out to walk up the hall when brother calls. His friends services were streamed and he sent me the link.  He and his wife were both gifted musicians. She sang with the Met.  They were both professors of music.    He called me after the service. Said he was getting dressed and heading out.  I did laundry.  His DW called v they were having a rainy day and she was busy doing laundry.  Was getting the dog it between rain events. 

Brother appeared about seven.  He printed up a document had to dash off to home Depot btompay his CC.  He called me a bit ago.  Said his son was calling and he would call me back.  He will head home on Monday to turn around and head back out for a scheduled event later in the week.   Makes me tired to think about his crazy schedules

We had a miserable rainy and cool day yesterday ... I couldn't even tell you what I did ... it seems I took more UB's than I should have ... 😯 rain this morning and then a cloudy 68 degree day ... I'll have to catch up on things that didn't get done yesterday 😉

Happy Sunday!  It is raining now but afternoon is suppose to be nice.  Good thing....tonight is grill night! 👍😃

ALSO, don't forget the Memorial Day Concert tonight!  🇺🇸

Warm up coming this week....maybe start of summertime...time to switch clothes around....maybe today....maybe not...ha!  Quiet weekend so it is easy to be lazy.  Maybe we should just enjoy the extra UBs when we can, Tootie.  Holiday weekend! 😁🇺🇸

kittyfan, DB could use a few UBs but I don't think it is in his genes...ha.  Maybe he waits for an all-day UB in his pajamas.  Whatever works....but, gotta slow down once in awhile.  (Spoken by a SLOW champion here...😂.)

I watched the Memorial Day concert. I watched the encore also as I always see something else. I did enjoy it but previous ones were better. Just my opinion. 

Memorial day marks a flooding event in the city. 13cdeaths. A lady I worked with had to swim out of her car.

I watched the Concert too ... I enjoyed it but wish they could change it up just a bit ... you almost know what is going to happen next ... still a tear jerking concert! and well worth watching!!

I have no news from Dullsville! ... another cloudy day but it is not supposed to rain 🫰 ... that will determine if we grill out or not!

Happy Memorial Day Monday!  Freedom is not free. I am grateful for those who have served and are serving our country.  RIP to those who gave their lives for us.  It is an emotional holiday. 🇺🇸

I agree with both of you and your thoughts on concert last night.  I enjoyed it, as always, but just not the same ...or maybe too much the same. I did not enjoy some of the music. The stories were quite touching.  I love and respect Gary Sinise.  His co-host, Mary, did a nice job too filling in at last minute.  Overall, a meaningful concert.  

Dullsville here too....we did enjoy deck-time and DH grilled a steak yesterday...yummy.  Hope you get to grill, Tootie.  Our weather this week is going to be summertime perfect!😎. I heard about flooding in the south, kittyfan.  It is scary and sometimes tragic.

I did not sleep well last night so there will be a UB or two in my day.  No other plans.....☕️☕️☕️ will help get me going...😉.

Hope all had a nice day.  We had rain beginning about five. 

I committed the  big faux paux when I went to get lunch. I didn't have the lid to one of my containers,  bring it back this evening-- no I will bring it next time I come. I don't go every day and never both meals. I understand the need for consistency but really. 

Brother finally got his flight home. He had gotten to the airport early but still had a wait.  After he left me on Sunday he went and took a nap.  Got up to eat and went back to bed early.  It had finally caught up with him.  He has a quick turnaround tIll he, has a scheduled trip out of town this week.

Our clouds turned to sunshine and yes walker we were able to get hot dogs done on the grill ... today more of the same 😎 with a high of 78!!

kittyfan, when you go to the dining center you have to bring their containers back and forth? ... maybe DB will finally get the hang of taking some UB's 😉

We're going to get our flowers today ... hopefully, they won't be too picked over!

Happy Tuesday!  We'll be confused on days this week.

Beautiful day and week ahead here.  Very quiet day yesterday but nice.

I am heading out for flowers this morning also, Tootie.  Hope we both find some good ones.  

kittyfan, my comment on lid would have been "oh sure!"😉......ha.  You'll get it whenever I bring it! 😂  Did they finish your lawn cutting?

Back from garden center and deck flowers are planted in containers/flower boxes.  Much better selection of flowers...better quality but you pay more too.  So, I've already spent almost $200 for flowers front and back.  I may call it quits...more to water, etc.  We'll see....just one plant if I see it, I will buy...a Diplopedia (sp?)...pretty red flowers....continuous bloom.

How did you do, Tootie?
