Happy Wednesday!  Cooler day but nice...not as breezy and no noise next door...👏.  I had a headache by late afternoon yesterday from work that was going on there.  It isn't done...prep work....noisiest!

DH...."Lake Lawn/Maintenance Guy"...😂...is gone for the day....had to get him out the door.  Now I can enjoy another cup of coffee...😁.

kittyfan, thanks for mentioning the Memorial Day Concert...highlight of the weekend!  🇺🇸😢....🤞we all remember it....Monday night...Monday night!  Good day for us to grill and then watch program.  (Correction...Sunday night?  I'm in trouble already!...I'll check listing here.) *****

SUNDAY NIGHT!!! Just checked...my brain was stuck on Memorial Day being Monday....SUNDAY! SUNDAY! Listen to kittyfan..not me. 😉)

Good evening 

Yes Sunday night is the memorial concert. I had to look to be certain.  

I managed to drop a jar of olives on the floor.  Fortunately I was able to ask housekeeping to mop the floor.  Yesterday brother dropped a bottle on the floor.  Okay enough of that.  

I am waiting on the dryer.   Yes laundry 🧺 🧺.

We had weather last night. Saw some damages including a large tree uprooted. 

No news in my world. I spent time this afternoon trying to make changes in bill payment. Of course it was after business hours so will have to revisit.

Oh no kittyfan!! I can only imagine the mess you had with the dropped olives!! glad you were able to have housekeeping mop it up for you ... hope you and DB have the "dropsies" out of your system 😉😄 ... good luck getting those changes done.

Hahaha walker, now remember ... you will grill Sunday and then watch the program on SUNDAY ... SUNDAY, SUNDAY 😉😄😂 but, if it rains??!! the no grilling might cause some confusion ... it's SUNDAY!! ... hope you enjoyed your Mimosa day yesterday!

No plans for me today ... we had a cool day yesterday and today it is going to be even cooler ... high of 60 today!! but it is not supposed to rain, so that is a good thing! according to our weatherman, it's going to be a rainy weekend here ... ugh! oh well, "we'll weather the weather ..."

Happy Thursday!  It is a bright and sunny morning...but cool.  I think I will go out to get some flowers today before they are picked over this weekend.  I need to go to store as well....hmmmm....food? flowers?  Flowers first...haha.

kittyfan, good O after dropping the olive jar. Clean-up...Aisle 1....then over to Aisle 2 for DB. 🙁 Coincidence!   I just saw on news about heavy rains covering some of the southern states.  Looks like wet weekend there.

Rainy weekend for you too, Tootie?  Maybe a break for grilling?  Or just relaxing on patio?  Sending better weather your way...we will go to 70's and then into 80's next week.

Good evening 

We just had heavy rain with lots of lightening.  Brother called earlier and shared he had lost another friend in MS.  He had been ill but they had been college roommates.

We went to my 🏠.  I watched him get the tractor out.  I thought he would spend the night but I saw him turn the light off and head out. I called to encourage him to spend the light as it was raining heavily here. He said he didn't have his meds and was heading back.  We talked until it started raining where he was. 

Thunder is still rumbling here.  We need rain so I am not complaining.

kittyfan, sorry to hear that DB has lost another friend ... and go, go, go still seems to be in his step!

walker, did you get your flowers? we're going to go Tuesday for ours (late for us but time got away from us) ... DH isn't getting any hanging pots this year ... last year was so windy and (where he likes to keep them) those flowers took a beating ... we'll still have some flowers for out front and on the patio ... 

We're still supposed to have a rainy and cooler weekend ... Monday "might" be the best day of the weekend ... so maybe we'll get some grilling 🫰

Store run this morning ... no rain for today and a high of 68!

Happy Friday!  Cloudy and cool here!  I think it will be a cool weekend until Monday.  We need the rain you are having, kittyfan.  I did not think I would say that after our rainy April.

I did get some flowers yesterday, Tootie.  I was disappointed in selection.  I just bought my pots for front of house.  I think I will wait until next week to go out for others....should be warmer then too.  I know what you mean about the hanging baskets.  I like having them but they are extra work....windy days, dry out quicker, birds nest in them....🥴...so I am skipping them as well.

I also got my grocery shopping done yesterday.   I was on a roll....haha.  Stores were busy.  I have my grill items ready...burgers and steak.  I choked on price of steak so we will share one...good size rib-eye anyway.

Quiet day in my world. Brother called me sounding chipper. Said he was still in his pajamas. I told him he needed a pajama day.   He arrived about 7 eith dinner. He sat and visited for a bit before dashing off.  He will head home early next week--after holiday crush.  I need to do laundry but spirit didn't move me in that direction today!
