Good morning friends ... kitchen opened ... button pushed!!

I can navigate through the computer pretty good too but give me a cell phone and I'm lost 😂 ... I have one but don't use it often enough, just for phone calls and texting ... I know there's so much more you can do on it!! ... and you're right kittyfan, how do people do it with no knowledge at all? ... the world thinks that everyone has a computer ... how awful about the shooting and stealing, unfortunately that seems to be the norm these days ... 🙏

A heat wave for me today!! high of 85 degrees!! 🥵 ... luckily DH put our A/C units in over the weekend (he has his "to do" list going of things to get done before his surgery) ... check that off!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️☁️☔️⛅️🇺🇸

Happy Monday!  We are going to have a mixed bag of weather today...cloudy, rainy, clearing, etc.  Storms rolling through mid-day.  DS and DIL leaving after lunch. 🙁 It is always enjoyable having them.

We had a long conversation with DS yesterday about moving....not getting younger...do it now, etc..he has a lot of property in FL and would like us to build a little house there.  Sounds nice but the thought gives me a big headache..ha!  Lots to think about....we have been thinking about downsizing but have not found anything here we like....so we keep kicking the can down the road.

Tootie, is surgery for your DH still planned for early June?

I'll bet your DIL has advice and will be a help too.  Easy-Breezy as they say!  He'll probably have his lawn cut and trimmed the day before surgery.  😉  

Just had talk with DS about technology.  He said you have to keep up with the times...HA..ME?  I know enough to do what I want to do....basics get me around....enough.  I should learn more but not something I use all the time.  Younger generation know and use more all the time.  

We enjoyed deck time this weekend and will be grilling this weekend....Memorial Day weekend...🇺🇸....good time to "fire-up".

kittyfan, glad you are following the eaglets progress.  When the first eaglets were born a year or so ago, I followed progress everyday.  I was so hooked on it and felt sad when they "flew the coop".

Hello ... UB time! ... yes walker, DH is scheduled for surgery June 1st ... and I'm so glad that he was able to get our A/C units in ... it's 89 degrees here 🥵 ... I feel more at ease knowing that DIL will be here to help ... and if she can't be here, she is only a phone call or text away!!  😉 there's that technology!  DH is anxious to get it done and on the road to recovery ... he misses his walks! 

Boy walker! a possible move and building a home ... you do have a lot to think about ... I can see why it is giving you a headache. I always wanted to move into a ranch after the kids left home, that never happened ... and then when in-laws passed, I was interested in moving into their ranch, but DH didn't want to ... so here we are! still in the same house, still kicking that can!! but 😯 ... I can't imagine packing up this whole house and moving either!! ... Good luck with your thinking! (this would probably be a good time for WandaWand to step in 😉) ... would certainly make your decision a whole lot easier!!

Oh my gosh kittyfan, I just saw on the news about the car stealings and shootings ... they were just randomly shooting at people as they walked down the street ... what the heck is wrong with people (really teens, I heard 15 and 17 years old) ... what a crazy, crazy world!!

Hi there......DS and DIL left after lunch to catch a 4:30 flight....unfortunately, delayed 2 hours!  Hopefully, on their way now.  Travel frustrations!

Tootie, I'll be thinking of your DH as surgery approaches...you too....you'll be his at home nurse!😉Good thing you have DIL for back-up.  

This house downsizing stuff is a dilemma of many senior citizens.  Where to move...costs, etc?  I think I/we are too old to go build a house.   Appreciate DS's concern but not sure that is best idea.  Interesting to hear your thoughts too, Tootie. I have many friends going through the same thing....making next decision....what is best?  All of our moves have been business related....now we have to make next decision...😖.  I do need Wanda Wand!  👍

I do understand all of the decisions.  If brother hadn't taken charge I would still be rattling around in a house with too much stuff and a nightmare yard.  

Brother called me about 9. Was having a ☕. Would pick me up in about an hour.   He called and I usually meet him out front but he said he would come in.  Came in and gathered up some things. We went off to my 🏠. Stopped and grabbed lunch.  Sat and visited a

Over lunch.  Then we made some phone calls to take care of business matters. He was buzzing around doing this and that. Time was getting late.  I thought we were heading out. He goes into the garage and I heard the riding mower start up.  I could only laugh. I knew you ladies know all about this. The neighbor had shredded earlier in the week and the lawn folks were working yesterday but there were some spots he had to address!!!

He took me home and said he would be back tomorrow to organize me. He went home to do laundry as he heads home Wednesday.  Has windows being replaced on Thursday,

It sounds like you had a good day with DB at the house kittyfan ... and you had a front row seat to watch DB on the mower 😉😄 ... does it bother you to go there and see the changes? ... enjoy your organization time with DB!!

Ugh! travel delays for your DS/DIL walker!! ... I hear so many  stories about delays ... I think I'm lucky I don't fly, I have no patience for waiting anymore ... although it is fun to people watch 😄😂

We're going to have an on again, off again rainy 84 degree day ... we are going to vote for our school budget this morning, so I hope the rain can hold off until we get home ... parking is always a problem.

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️⛅️🇺🇸

Happy Tuesday!  🥱....I have been waking up at 5:00 lately...can't sleep so I get up....sure need the coffee! ☕️☕️

Weather to be very warm but cooler tomorrow.  We have turned on the A/C.  I bet most of the people in my neighborhood never open a window.  To each his own, I guess.

DS and DIL made it home late but got there!  We will see them again at the end of July.  Last year they bought a lake home in northern Georgia. They rented it and found out it was for sale...liked everything about it so ended up buying. They continue to use it as a rental. A management company handles everything which is good.  Looks very nice.  DS wants to do some work there so we will meet for a week and DH can help.  Another adventure...ha.  These young people juggle so many things!

No plans for today.....kittyfan will be busy with DB ...Tootie off to vote...important.   Have a good day whatever direction you go in....see you later.

Nothing new.....UB time....nice day....delightful breeze...I opened doorwall....lazy-girl time and the breezes are so nice coming in.......not so delightful...probably dust and dirt blowing in....😂....I really don't care!  You would probably understand, Tootie....enjoying fresh air! 😉

Doing laundry today if I can get motivated out of my chair to finish it!  Ha!

Our neighbors are having a new driveway put in along with new front porch area and sidewalk on side of house to backyard.  Lots of noise.....more dust and dirt...oh well.

Good evening 

I enjoy opening up for fresh air.  We have been having a thunderstorm for several hours. 

I was up and thinking about my day when brother arrives. I did expect him but later she said he was going home this afternoon.  Plan was to do my tasks go home to shower and head to the airport.  Did I need two dog beds---yes!   He did put some things in totally inconvenient spots v moving things back!   About five he calls me.  I thought he was home. Nope he had to deal with issues in town.  He was five minutes from his flight. Didn't get on. Got the rental car back and he was heading back to the condo.  I  don't know when he will pop in.  Nothing of importance he needs to help me with.  Hopefully he was able to get some rest. He hadn't slept much last night.  

Oh Walker another road trip for you.  The men have a project!   Before I forget the Memorial Day concert is on Sunday on PBS.  Always a tear jerker.

Tootie your DH WILL BE Good as new soon.

Haha kittyfan, I laughed about DB not getting on his flight ... I just pictured him standing in a line and then dashing off 😄 ... hope he can get things taken care of! ... laughed too about him putting things in inconvenient spots! ... good thing they can be put back when he's gone! 😄😂 ... we had a bad thunderstorm after dinner last night ... flickering lights, but luckily didn't lose power!

More laughs with walker ... I do know all about dirt and dust blowing in 😄😂 ... but like you said ... who cares?? you have to take it all in when you can enjoy a nice breeze in your lazy-girl!! ... at some point, it will all be dusted away 😉 ... that should be another fun adventure for you and DH ... 

We had a hot day yesterday ... actually had our A/C on ... today, not so much ... our temp will only be 65! windows opened!! while I do my laundry 😄 does it ever end??!
