Oh Mothers Day and family celebrations are coming. All sound great.

Siblings together a special day.

Today was dominos. Oh my.  First hot topic was hospital stays. I have had several but stayed in my lane.  Then the next hot topic was cpap machines. I don't have one and another lady does not. I think she might be on supplemental oxygen but I haven't asked and won't ask.

Really if I wanted to discuss medical woes I would have stayed home!  I was almost back when brothers DW called. I had my phone in my pocket and thought it was a spam call.  We talked for a bit before she needed to dash off.  We will finish conversation later!  

Chatty cathy was absent. I was glad. She exhausts me!

Good morning friends ... kitchen opened ... button pushed!

ugh kittyfan, not a topic that needs to be discussed especially when you are together to play a game and have a good time!! ... I seriously think that those that need to talk about their medical woes consider them their "trophies" ... almost as if they want to "one up" everyone ... (I actually knew someone like that and it made the conversation with them just awful and eventually I didn't want to be around them ...) can you imagine if Chatty Cathy had been there? 😯😵‍💫

I hope your DS and family made it on time 😉😄 ... and make sure that you get that picture!! ... we finally did that this Christmas (especially harder for you because you have those that are out of town) ... with everything going on during a holiday (or whenever, really) we would never think to take one and so glad that we did ... enjoy your breakfast and time with your family!!

Lots of sunshine this morning 😎 and our high will be 62 ... tomorrow 75ish!! 🌞

Happy Saturday!  Rain moving in but turning nice after it moves through.  

DS and DIL arrived about 10:30 last night.  It was late and everyone was tired so we literally said hello and good-night.  Thought we would sleep in but creatures of habit..DS has been up and gone for run.  DH and I are up.....DIL won't be up for awhile.  

Thanks for reminder about picture, Tootie.  I had forgotten I wanted to do that...😁.  Smile...click...

kittyfan, another interesting domino game...🙄....at least minus one ...Chatty Cathy.

Well, DS is back......so good to have him here....on with day and catching up.   Bye for now.

Hi there.......we have all finished a UB here...ha!  Busy morning but went well....lots of food.  It is just a lot of work and prep. I am thinking the breakfast in a box was a better idea!  😂 How was yours, Tootie?  

Weather turned out good so we spent some time on the deck.  And.....I did not get my picture...but, I remember we got a lot of nice photos two years ago at our 50th anniversary where there was a photographer.  At last minute....three of the grands could not come....lacrosse make up game for 1A, gymnastics for GD, GS has a caddying job.  

kittyfan, I have been forgetting to ask you about the little eaglets....have you been following?  There is a thread here (Eagle Cam) that is well written for information too.

OK...all for now.....finally got most dishes clean, dishwasher emptied.....DS and DIL going into the city tonight for a play....🙄...no thanks for me....I used to enjoy going into the city but not anymore.  Must be an age thing...they think nothing of it.

Oh I understand about not going to the city. I have been catching the eagles. They are still gray in color but they are getting bigger. Oh deck time. Nice to sit outside 😎 😎 

Breakfast  in a box is easier but there is something special about Mom's cooking. 

I had a long conversation with brother late last night. He was Amazon shopping and said delivery would be the 16th. I reminded him that the day had passed and it was indeed the 16th!   This afternoon I had a long conversation with brothers DW. She brought me up to date on happenings in her world. They had a kindergarten graduation yesterday.  I was debating finding some dinner when brother arrives after 8:30. He brought me dinner, a few items from the grocery and a cart he thought I needed. Argh. I only have so much room.  He gets ideas which are usually good but the last two items he brought me were questionable. But I love him. He takes great care of me. Which is priceless!

Y:   Yak. I was watching some food show.  Yak was the ingredient. Large and not very appealing!!!

How nice that DB brought you dinner ... no prep work for you!! ... I bet he has the perfect spot in mind for your cart, kittyfan 😉... oh yuk to the yak!! 

Glad everything went well yesterday, walker! food, fun, family and deck time!! ... it's always hard to get everyone together especially with teenagers ... you still have your picture from your 50th, so that's good!!

Our breakfast went well too!! ... everything was good ... kids were excited and we were able to get outside for a little while ... after we were home for a while, we had a very loud thunderstorm!! today, sun and 74!!

Happy Sunday!  Writing this helps me remember what day it is! 😂

Laughing at "yuk to the yak", Tootie.  Never heard of yak before.  Glad you had a good Mother's Day breakfast there too.  Any day can be Mother's Day when family is around.

Your DB is a gem for sure, kittyfan.  Gotta love him for all he does....even shopping more than you need sometimes.😆  

DS and DIL will spend most of day today with DIL's brother and family who live near us....breakfast, graduation, dinner....might sneak in a break here at some point.  I guess they enjoyed (DIL more 😉) the play last night.  Had to laugh, DS said there was a parking garage next door to theater.  You used a QR Code to get in and then you had to use it to get out.  HA!  He said it took a long time to get out because people couldn't figure out the QR thing....how did they get in?  🤣 I would still be stuck in garage with a lot of angry people behind me...haha.

Hahaha walker, I would be the car behind you, watching how you figured out how to get out of the garage ... and I'm sure there would be a lot of horn blowing ... 😄😂 ... I'm no good with all of this new technology! 

Oh, the yak? a long-haired domesticated cattle found throughout the Himalayan region ... even the look of it is unappealing.

I struggle with newfangled technology at times even though I am somewhat computer literate. I wonder how folks operate with no computer knowledge at all.  Portals at the Drs office, etc. 

I saw a bit of a female lacrosse game.

I think the shark tank exercise was great. What a fabulous learning experience for all.  

I was watching TV this afternoon. Emergency alert. Three people shooting and stealing cars. Aporenfed two nine still at large. One a juvenile. Oh my.
