good evening

We had planned to go out but plans changed. I was logging on to watch my church service when there is a tap on the door.  Brother arrives with supplies. 

Plans changed they were heading home today.  He buzzed around and took care of organizing my storage and did some other tasks. Then he was off.   I watched the ladies BB game and then gymnastics. Caught the second half of the game and the OT. Made me cold watching. 

Predictions are some weather to hit us next weekend.  Still subject to change

Just talked to brother. Got home had to stop at store then home. Got dog out of car   then pj time. I know we have another round of medical appointments in February.  I prefer not multiples in one day!  

Closing kitchen.  Coffee pot ready for the early birds.

Our high for the day is 24 and the snow has started and supposedly will continue for the next couple of days ... I'm not going anywhere so will sit back and enjoy the ride!!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🥶🇺🇸....😢🏈

Happy Monday!  Sad Monday in Chicago but it was a fun ride!  We had a better 🏈 season than we have had in a long time.  I hope the players take a month's vacation somewhere warm.  What a game!  

Very cold day ahead here....maybe high of 7.  I think we are at 1🥶 now.  Inside day here too, Tootie, watching the world go by.  I'm glad it is a holiday (RIP MLK) so more people can stay home.

kittyfan, DB keeps rolling around doesn't he...I just picture him on roller skates 😉.  Glad you are enjoying sports on TV...quite a variety and Olympics soon.  I enjoy Winter Olympics....skating, skiing, bobsledding...

 Thanks for coffee....need it....eye-opener as they say....bye for now.....have a warm day....even inside looking out....bad weather all around.

Thinking of you with weather, Tootie.  Hope it isn't too bad there.  Did you hear about the 100 car pile-up in southwest area of Michigan?  They shut road down.  I/we have travelled that road many times going to Grand Rapids (mom).  I am always cautious with weather because of incidents like today.  Awful!  I saw a drone video online.

No other news here....kind of a Merry Maid catch-up day here plus laundry.  Too cold to be out but I did go feed my birds. 🤗

Good evening

I had a quiet day.  Didn't feel super this morning. I feel better now.  I talked to brother. He was calling me from his "****** Tracey" glasses. I actually could hear him well and could clearly hear him running the water as he was cleaning the kitchen!  

Today would have been FHGs BD. There were some FB posts. Her sister took her dog and a niece took the kitties. I thought she had a sister but they weren't close. Cookie remains a ??

I watched the second half of the college game. I wasn't paying close attention but was happy to see the win.  The QB seems to be a nice young man.  Saw an earlier interview with his parents and grands

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, do you mean that DB has glasses that he can talk to you while they're on??! ... I must be behind the times, I didn't know something like that was around! ... RIP FHG and I'm glad that her animals are being taken care of by family ... and it will always be a mystery about our cookie 🙁

walker, I did see that pile up in Michigan and can see how that can happen, especially with the whiteouts ... we had a day of those yesterday ... I couldn't even see the house next door to us!! and am glad that I was inside watching it!! ... our area got about 3 inches of snow yesterday but with the high winds it was really bad ... today, more of the same but we are expecting a lot more snow!! and it is bitter cold ... 7 degrees now and the high will be 15 ... schools are closed today ... yesterday off because of MLK day ... the fans are not happy about the coach being fired!! but I guess that happens ... poor guy did his best for years with our team ... he got them pretty far in the playoffs, but not far enough!!

It's a laundry day for me today ... have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Good afternoon 

Started off my day with a call from brother. Did the property tax get paid. He found a check written.  Yes we took a different route. I logged on to be certain.  I tell brother things and he juggles so many balls he doesn't remember. I only keep up with myself. With a lot of help!   I told brother I was ok with a nanny cam.  He hesitated for a bit before putting it up.  He told me one night he saw me up very late. Sunday he checked on me on his way home. He had brought me some food but I don't eat by the clock.  I had finally decided I was hungry and he said he saw me eating!   

I posted on another thread many moons ago.  I am not certain but I think that is where I initially met FHG.  I still pop in but don't post.  In the past few months two posters passed. Others found their obits on

line. One I didn't know how they identified as her given name was a mystery.  The other had her given name identified to some. 

We are still expecting a blast. Heard the grocery was already a circus. I know you ladies deal with weather events routinely. But those white our conditions are frightening.  I agree schools are closed often.  I remember very few school closure days and yes I grew up before pants were allowed.  Now I simply shake my head when I see how these children 👗
