Good morning friends ... ugh kittyfan, those darn washer and dryers that are down ... but glad that you were able to get yours done! ... slow down DB and get that back feeling better!! ... no thanks to kimchi (formented and salted vegetables) never had it but doesn't sound appealing to me!

walker, is your back feeling better? DH's knee? ... I'm sure you gave them a workout putting those decorations away ... my knee was calling it quits after the 400th time up and down the stairs 😉😬

We're in for some warmer temps (mid 40's) this week with rain ... grocery shopping this morning ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Tuesday!  Balmy weather ahead for a "few" days...👏👏...above average.  Then rain is predicted followed by snow again...maybe...Saturday.  

kittyfan, what is up with those laundry machines there?  Gremlins?  HA!  Do they also have a service there where they do your laundry?  (More money for them 😠.)  Not ideal as clothes are lost in process.  I would prefer doing my own.  

Tootie, I laughed at your comment about your knees talking after 400 trips to basement.  Mine too...feeling it more lately.

My back is doing better but not 100% yet...I'm cautious.  DH seems to be back in working order...much better.  I think family in FL was really concerned watching him hobble around.  They are used to seeing him active all the time.  As my mother would say "it's just old age".🥴

By the way, kittyfan, DB might want to try cold packs on his back.  I always thought heat was the way to go....and it is for some things.  But, I have found (DH with knee too) that using a cold pack a few times a day on affected area brings relief quicker.  It takes a minute of shock to get used to cold but then it is ok.  Good luck to him...I feel his pain..😉.

OH...one more thing...no thanks on kimchi...never tried it either but does not sound tasty to me..."fermented and salty" (thanks Tootie 😉) anything..ha...I'll pass.

Good evening

My day for technology!  The CPA sent me documents to upload. I tried to log into my email.  Had to prove myself. Really.  Brother uses my email often. So I called the office and they will mail.

Then I had an email from gas company. Need to update my address. No. I haven't moved and I pay the bill as soon as I see it hit.  Finally got that straight. 

I had to call and see when I have a Drs apt scheduled. I thought it was this month. Thankfully not yet.  Tomorrow I have to deal with the bank.  

I don't know why the laundry is such an issue. I really like the newer machine. You have to push the dial in etc. Perhaps some folks haven't figured that out!  

We are still having warm this week.  Then cooler. Will see

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, you sure did have a "techy" day ... but you got everything done except for the bank ... hope you can get that taken care of today! ... as far as the washer being an issue for some, I think people just like to hear themselves complain!!

walker, we had a balmy day yesterday ... it made it up to 40 degrees with lots of rain ... most of our snow is gone!! ... and our decorations are tucked away now for next year!! ... I have a bin with my door decorations that I have to go through, they seemed to have multiplied!! 😄

No plans for today except for the never ending laundry!! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Wednesday!  Expecting a nice day ahead here...balmy as well. 👏 Most of our snow is gone too, Tootie.  

kittyfan, you did well with your techy issues!  I had an issue yesterday as well and told DH....how do people (especially older people) that are not techy or smart enough to handle these calls do it?  Talk about frustration!

Sometimes I just want to talk to a person..not do it online. First you answer the automated questions.  THEN...please hold for next available agent...20 MINUTES! WHAT?😳  I was so aggravated I thought...fine...not going through dance again.....so while I waited PATIENTLY....I started a load of wash....and started some ironing...got half done...BINGO...20 minutes later I get agent from the other side of the world who talks fast and I can't understand!  😠 
I had a very simple question to ask too.  Agent asked to speak with DH...😡...his account...well, he is not available ....I finally said...."put a note on this call....send out information needed if you want your money!"  Good-bye!

Nothing easy or simple anymore!  Sorry for my vent...

Better go....I have a lab appointment this morning for thyroid re-check.

I agree those long waits and then you are speaking to someone in india.

Tried to resolve my bank issue. Person I needed to speak with unavailable!  Someone has the info I need. Not top secret!  Then brother was calling about security system. I didn't deal with them just paid bill.  No they haven't billed me.  No I have no idea what password you set.  He is juggling so many things and I do depend on him.

Did more laundry. I seem to always be doing this chore

No news ... this winter hibernation is getting to me ... yesterday it was so gloomy here ... today high of 46 and maybe some sun this afternoon 🌞 ... 🤞

Happy Thursday!  I slept in today....now I should be full of energy!  HA!  Gloomy weather here too, Tootie.  It gets to me more than it used to do.  I need sunshine....at least part of day. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Funny about getting BP checked after phone call, Tootie...not good...BOING...off charts.  Speaking of checks...had my thyroid recheck and already got results..wow, fast!  Results show perfect range...Doctor says puzzling why it was off this past Fall.  She'll have it rechecked with my annual exam in 6 months.  👍

kittyfan, I just have to chuckle when you describe hoops you jump through in your phone calls too.  The strong survive, eh?

Good morning friends ... ugh, it's a rainy, rainy morning!! and it's so windy ... you can hear the rain smacking against the windows ... rain and high winds for today ... but, it's going to go up to 55 ... yesterday we actually had sun 😎 and it was 53!! a pleasant day!! I cracked the windows a bit!! ... aaaaaaah, fresh air!!

walker, good news on your lab work ... I've been on thyroid meds for a while now ... I had no symptoms but after a recheck of lab work my doctor said I needed meds 🤷‍♀️

 kittyfan ... hope you were able to get some of your issues taken care of.

Happy Friday!  It was windy here during the night..guess it blew fast to your area, Tootie.  We had rain yesterday afternoon too.  Maybe this crazy (not complaining) mild-spring-like-weather caused my sleepless night.  I feel like I was awake half the night....ARRGGH.  

No news here....GS has a basketball game this evening that we will attend.  I almost hate to go out because there are so many germs floating around...people sick with colds or flu.  But, can't live in fear....not going back to wearing a mask either.  Have to support GS and team.  They are really struggling this season.
