BG's party was a big hit!! He was super excited and enjoyed all of his gifts ... he ended up getting a couple different rockets and spaceships and played with them all night ... (even though he wasn't going to play with them until he was 95! 😂) 

Another mild day here ... high of 44 ... just heard on the weather that we won't have a white Christmas! rain and 50 degrees!! ... good for travelers!!

Yesterday I was in the other room. Heard a familiar voice. I didn't expect him until today.  I had planned to do some tasks before he arrived. I had told him he didn't need to come this close to 🎄 but he said he had a cheap flight. He is definitely a frequent flyer

Happy Saturday!  Hello from Tennessee.  We had a good travel day....arrived at hotel about 3:30....enough travel for one day....left at 6:30 this morning.  Hotel is very nice and had dinner at a nearby restaurant.  Heading into Georgia tomorrow.

Tootie, glad BG didn't wait until 95 to play with his rockets...ha!  A future astronaut maybe?  

kittyfan, DB is full of surprises.  You never know when he will pop in.  Enjoy your visit with him...and back to house.

All for now......I'm tired so won't be up too long tonight.

On the road again tomorrow....another day closer to warm Florida!  Even 58 felt good today here.

We'll have a chilly and windy 28 degree day ... it has been so windy this winter!! ... our siding is still holding on and is scheduled to be fixed tomorrow ...

Hello from Georgia ..... Happy Sunday to all...almost over.

One day closer to destination....can't wait to get to DS's house tomorrow afternoon.  Our trip today went well but,as always, ran into a lot of traffic in the Atlanta area.

Weather getting warmer which sure feels good.  We start day out in layers and peal off along the way....ha!  

Countdown to Christmas...doesn 't seem like it but maybe tomorrow when we get to DS's and all their decorations.

Hope you got your wrapping done, Tootie.  More fun ahead with BG and LS for Christmas.  Did they visit Santa?

Just vegging out now at hotel watching football and then...😴😴......up and on the road again in morning...🚗...so far Lucy and Desi still speaking.  He hasn't left me behind at a rest stop yet...😂.

I am home again.  Brother picked me up.  Treated me to a trip to the cafe.  I haven't been since I moved. It was wonderful.  Then on to the house. I watched him buzzing around while I just enjoyed the conversations. He brought me home and did some tasks here.  He will join me at lunch tomorrow and heads home.

We are predicted to hit 80 on Christmas day.

Next installment of the road trip is eagerly awaited!!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, so glad that you were able to get back to the cafe!! did you see any of the regulars? ... and how was the visit to your house?? ... oooh, nice and warm for Christmas!! 

walker, you're a half day closer to your DS's and warmth!! glad that it's been good travel.

The kids have seen Santa several times ... they took them to their town hall where they have a Winter Wonderland with Santa and Mrs. Claus, they went on the Polar Express Train and Santa rides around the neighborhood on a fire truck! ... they are just so excited for Christmas!! ... and yes! my wrapping is all done!! and I am ready ... we do simple for Christmas dinner ... roast beef sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, salad, olives ... and of course dessert ... pumpkin and pecan pie, lemon squares, pumpkin bread, cookies and we're going to try that petite cheesecake recipe that you posted walker.

Yikes, I'm babbling and I lost part of my post but luckily was able to get it back ...

Hello from Florida....we made it!  Thankfully, no travel problems.  Traffic wasn't too bad which surprised us other than Atlanta yesterday.  When we traveled down I75 in FL the northbound lanes looked like an evacuation was taking place...bumper to bumper traffic.  We couldn't get over it.  Anyway, all good here...oldest GS was off work today so stopped over.  Good to see him.  Later other GS arrived after his job.  I need a step stool to hug these guys!  Tall!

I am really tired.....three days of travel and no UBs...ha!  Top that off we had an annoying person above us at hotel last night.  He or she kept dropping things or slamming a door ....beats me...finally stopped after about 10pm.  Need to get to bed early.  Tomorrow we go to Epcot.  It is DH's birthday too.

Tootie, sure hope the petite cheesecakes turn out and you like them at Christmas.  Sounds like a good menu...relaxing and easy prep.  Kids are at perfect age for Christmas/Santa fun.

kittyfan, glad you have enjoyed time with DB.  How nice to go back to cafe.  I remember that one girl there that you were so fond of.....can't remember her name...she went somewhere else...I think.

Brother arrived looking spiffy as always. He called me to tell me to meet him in the lobby.  It was very unorganized this year.  But we were seated at a table with two ladies I did know.  I knew they both attended the services here so I asked brother to do the blessing. We ate and adjourned back to my place.  We had a few items he needed to attend to.  Paying taxes among them.  He has a 8 am Drs apt and then another appointment before going to the airport.  Hopefully he has a direct flight as he hasn't been 100 percent 

Walker:  I know your grands have grown up.  Enjoy your jaunt.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I see that DB is still go, go, going 🐇... I hope he gets some rest over the holidays but I don't think that is going to happen 😉... 

walker, Happy Birthday to your DH! 🎂 ... hope you got a good nights sleep (annoying people at hotels!) ... but you made it!! now you can enjoy yourself with family ... and at Epcott ... and just think, you don't have to bundle up!! ☃️ ... have fun! 

We're supposed to have a 40 degree day so I guess all that snow will turn to slush ... last minute grocery shopping this morning ...
