So much sadness in the world.  I talked to brother and his DW this morning. He lost another friend unexpectedly.  I did not know him along I had worked with the engineering group in my work days. 

We had a frost this morning. Temps to go back up to 80s.   We just keep our tissues handy.

walker, glad your family had a good time even though it was sooo cold!! ... I can't even imagine playing football in that temperature!! 

Thank you both for the early wishes for BG!! ... he is so excited about his party!! and I finally got my gifts wrapped!!

Another day of cold and snow ... yesterday afternoon we had a snow storm that dumped about 5 inches of snow ... it made rush hour travel tough!! but everyone made it home ok!! ... not too cold today ... high of 33! tomorrow and Thursday we will have warmer weather ... on Thursday we're supposed to go up to 51!! 🥵 heat wave!! 😄😂

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️⛅️🇺🇸...🎄🎅

Happy Tuesday!  We are on a weather roller-coaster...all over, I guess.  I think you have the most extreme change, kittyfan.  We are going to be above 32 with rain ☔️ on Thursday.  Up, down, up down.  At least we don't have snow in the forecast.  We need to get out of town...not slide out.  

Tootie, DH and I were talking the other day about not seeing snowmen ⛄️ around.  Do your kids like to make them?  Years ago on snow days kids would be out making them ... big and small. 

I am taking a break from the holiday hustle-bustle for lunch with friends.  Might be a good day for a mimosa! 🥂👍

We call it our "therapy" lunch. 😉 Best therapy around!

Friday morning.....zooooom....away we go.  I haven't even thought about packing yet.  Forecast is showing nice weather in FL .... 👏👏.

Hi all.....just took walk with DH....not bad bundled up.  I guess I needed it.  My therapy lunch was great.  We went to a new place which was very good.  We each had a "Jingle Bell Mimosa"....ha....surprise, surprise.  Food good too.  We always exchange Xmas gifts and one friend brings Christmas cookies she baked.  It didn't take me long after getting home to open that cookie tin up...yum!

I don't need dinner but better warm something up for DH.

How nice mimosas and cookies!  

I lost my camera yesterday.  Brother called me said electric was in the yard. Well I looked up number for electric. We were both on the phone. I quickly realized I did not reach electric. I was telling brother to hang up.  I realized I had gotten some calls. I don't answer numbers I don't know. I called and the fella said they were contracted by electric and what they were repairing. I called brother back to let him know it was ok.  They call my second phone which was my landline number and linked in the system.  I said camera kicked me off. He said DW would call me back.  She is ultra organized and got me back on the tablet and the phone.   She had the magic passwords. 

Brother had visited a senior facility close to his other house. SO is close to his condo.  He called me to tell me he was invited to their holiday event. Sounded really nice but I am thinking they may not appreciate my preferred attire!  I told him I would move if he thought it was in my best interest.  

Brother will be here for the Christmas family lunch. He asked about the menu and I told him it will be a surprise!!  He will be here for a few days. Trip to my house on schedule

Good morning friends ... typing from my iPad this morning so I hope this works! DH is backing up my computer.

kittyfan, you had some excitement at your house with them working on your electricity! ... glad that DW was able to help you! ... how nice that SO is having a Holiday Luncheon and DB can join you! 

walker, oooh, that Mimosa sounds good and festive! ... nice therapy session 😉😂 ... the kids have built snowmen ... but you're right, I don't see many anymore either! In fact, we don't see many kids playing outside anymore ... mine were always out with the neighbor kids!  times have changed!! ... wow! Lucy and Desi will be taking off soon 🚙 

We'll have a mild but windy 40 degree day ... we still didn't get the siding fixed (they're waiting for decent weather and it's been so snowy and windy) but luckily the siding is in a position that it's not flapping in the wind!

Good thing you have your "back-up" IPad to use while DH "backs-up" your computer...😉😂.

I just learned Cardinal Dolan of NY has resigned as he turns 75.  I really like him and enjoy his messages.  I also heard the Pope gave a message about ending the "busyness" in our lives!  YES to that!  Younger generations need to get off the merry-go-round....but, doubt that will happen.  Merry-go-round going too fast to get off.  

Different times is right, Tootie.  I'm glad I grew up and raised my kids in simpler times.  Guess I'm starting to babble....ha....move on grandma..😁.

kittyfan, something always happening there...SO, DB always on the move, your house, etc.  It will be interesting to see what DB suggests in regards to a move for you.  He'll make sure all is well.  Nice that he can come in for few days there and holiday celebration.

Well, on with day....weather fairly mild now...snow starting to disappear.  Today I have a few errands....deliver gifts to kids....go to bank.....and get my nails done.  Tomorrow....pack up.....HO HO HO....on we go....

Happy Thursday!  It is very windy here today....not good as it is garbage day....flying trash and totes....hopefully  our containers stay put.

Well, not good news here.....DH is not feeling well! 🥴 He is rarely sick but started feeling bad after dinner last night.  He went to bed early but did not sleep well.  Cold? Flu?

Covid?  YIKES!  Everything on hold today.  He was suppose to go to dentist this morning..cancel that!  Very doubtful we will leave tomorrow....change hotels by a day and hope we can travel by Saturday.  We have been avoiding group things.  He only went out for haircut this week.  I'm the one running in all directions.  Did I bring something home?  BUMMER!  Stay tuned....I'll pop in later with an update.
