Happy Friday!  Another cloudy day here but temperature to be about 50....not bad but sun would be nice...maybe tomorrow.

kittyfan, I can't believe a new washer can be out of order so soon.  🙀  Too bad you can't install those stackable machines for apartments.  Dream on..... hope this is fixed soon.  Talk about annoying!  My last washer failed after three years..piece of junk!  I am glad we spent more this time and got a Speed Queen.  Good quality hard to find anymore.

That would be so nice if DB put some lights up on your patio.  Just a few decorations make it seem "Christmasy."

I am still deciding how much I want to decorate this year since we will be gone part of the month.

Good morning friends ... ugh bloodwork!! ... jab in left arm (which is always the arm they take it out of) ... nothing! had to switch to right arm ... ugh, another jab!! ... but it's done and breakfast was waiting 😄 ... which was very good!! bacon, eggs and home fries ... it's a Greek restaurant and the potatoes are delicious ... not used to eating such a big breakfast though!! 

kittyfan, oh no! issues with the new washer already?! and the dryer wasn't working?! annoying ... they seem to be not working more than they are ... I bet DB would do a great job making your patio look like Christmas!

walker, they just don't make things like they used to ... when we did a cleanout of my in-laws, she had a Kenmore washer that was 30+ years ... of course it had been fixed some times by FIL but it still worked!! ... laughing at your poor DH with his leaves on the grass ... "not good" ... (been there ... 😄)

We're having another mild 50 degree day with some rain ... right now it is that misty, annoying rain ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Oh the multiple jabs. Have had that too many times. I have had to have so many blood draws. 

Well I discovered when they put my sink back in the lines were crossed. Oh another maintenance request.  I do have some laundry I need to do. Checked out another laundry area.

Happy Saturday!  Finally the sun returns here! 👍 Nice weekend so I guess we should think about putting our outside decorations up.  I like to wait until after Thanksgiving but temperatures drop to 30's then.

Tootie, sorry you had some blood-draw problems yesterday but sounds like breakfast after was your reward.

kittyfan, it could only happen to you...lines crossed..🙄.  I laughed at Tootie's reference to the Green Acres crew.  My first thought was Cousin Eddie.  I can just imagine what DB thought about that...ha!

No news here except our kids don't want us to drive to FL.

They would like us to fly.  Guess they must think we are getting too old...HA!  They are the "fly" generation.  DH does not want to do it.  I might prefer it but I can take more when driving.  We'll see ....to be determined..soon...🚗? ✈️? 🤔

Good afternoon

Sunny coolish day here. Brother refers to them as "Darrell, Darrell, and his other brother Darrell" from the Bob Newhart show but the green acres reference fits also.  We do often refer to that show.  Particularly since brother bought a tractor.  I agreed it would be nice to help maintain but when I saw him on the camera riding around and seeing the pic he posted I thought 💭 this was a respite.  With his incredibly busy life and obligations he could just walk the property, just putter.  I knew he spent a lot of time with his beloved grandparents in the country so he was no stranger to this.  I understand. I don't think his DW understands as she didn't have the same background. Although they shared similarities many differences. Brother told me his beloved cousin came across the pic on the tractor. She shared the country experience and I think she could relate. Brothers DW was the corporate one. Brother was the social worker touching so many.

I understand about flying vs driving.

Well, my dinner tonight may be a big loser ...🥴.  Typical of me....not paying attention and being distracted.  I had two recipes for dinner....one with chicken thighs and one with chicken breasts.  I decided on thigh recipe.  Put other package of chicken breasts in freezer.  OK....start the recipe..first step..done 👍..but I left both recipes on counter....got distracted and when I went back I started to add ingredients of second recipe for breasts...UGH!  Oh well, continued on using both recipes a bit.  If it is any good I will call it Crazy Chicken! 😂 If I don't check in tomorrow it was really bad!  HAHA. 🤞

Happy Sunday!  I survived my Crazy Chicken dinner!  I am not repeating that mistake!  Overall it was tasty but not as it should have been.  Thigh recipe did not call for rice...breast did but I had added rice.  It did not cook as it should have....result...crunchy rice...even though half way through I added more liquid....half crunch/half soft.  I did not have any "medicine" before fixing this either. 😉

I need to slow down and THINK about what I am doing.  Tis' the season to have too many things on my mind.  HO! HO! HO! here we go....soon....first turkey time!  Good thing I'm not cooking! 😂

I talked with brother yesterday. He had a water issue with the sprinkler system nhe just happened to go,outside. I told him it was good he was home they are heading this way on Tuesday.  Thanksgiving will be at their condo.  His DW has appointments in early December 

I went to church here. The lady sitting next to me said she woke up and read for an hour. Was dragging this morning n I said sleep is always an issue.

There is a fella on my hall.  We often cross paths in the laundry room.  He said he saw a fella cutting up cardboard and putting in the the dryer.  If this individual is having cognitive issues they need another level of care.  There is a lady who has only been here a few weeks. I knew she was dazed and confused and learned she is in the hospital 

I could not be the marketing person.  I couldn't accept marginal placements .
