Speaking of weather 😁 ... was finally able to shut our A/C off! ... we had rain this morning into the afternoon and had to have the air on ... it has cleared up and it is super windy and very low humidity!! ... windows opened! ... aahhh fresh air!!

Thanks, Tootie.....busy day....could go to bed now but too early.  Hope we have good weather too.   Still have tomorrow morning to finish things.  We won't leave until after lunch time....make that after UB time...ha!

Today was cloudy and chilly here...what a change!  No A/C....ahhhh....so nice.  This won't last long....next week I see high 80's and 90's again.

Good morning friends ... we are at 58 degrees right now! what?? ... 77 for our high today with very low humidity 😊

No kittyfan again ... hope everything is ok ... maybe still having those darn tech issues.

I've got some errands this morning ... tomorrow is DH's birthday ... we're going out to dinner and then back home for cake! 

Have a good day ... pouring and passing ... since you're going to be gone walker and kittyfan may be having tech issues, I may end up talking to myself ... I wonder if I'll answer 😄😂

Gremlims got me. Lost a message before I could post.   And more AC issues.  I was taking to brother and told him what I was dealing with.  I had already made a maintenance report.  He fires off an email to the director. Neitherr of us are fond of her.

Maintenance comes.  

Then ongoing tech issues including this morning.  

Walker the lake house sounds delightful.   I had pictured it differently.

Hi there.....taking a UB ....then load up coolers, etc. and go.  I should just haul the refrigerator with us...haha!

Anyway, checking in and happy to see you kittyfan.  Sorry about continuing tech and maintenance issues.  Glad DB can jump in and help.  Sometimes it takes a firm male voice to get attention.  Annoying....women are firm too...I probably show emotions....why do they so easily brush us off? 😠

Well, looking forward to weekend.  This lake house is so nice.  The kids are hard workers....two bedrooms/two baths on main floor,  large kitchen area w/family room and three seasons room.  Downstairs another large bedroom and bath (in-law suite..ha)...and extra room for guys to hang out or sleep, workroom, laundry room, large wrap around deck off main floor too. Amazing what they have done with help along the way.  We still laugh about early days when DH and I would sleep in the bare bones basement (they had bed already there).  We would schlep our stuff upstairs for bathroom, etc.  I didn't care as bed was comfortable...and boys needed to be upstairs near parents when they were little.  They've come a long way!  Last thing they added was a big garage for their toys...haha.  I think DS would like to live there permanently but DIL is a city girl....plus jobs here.  Need the income for sure!

Good morning friends ... thank you ladies for DH's birthday wishes ...

kittyfan, good to see you ... ugh! you're still having issues ... it makes it tough when you have to deal with someone that you don't really care for ... glad that extra push from DB made the repairs happen ... it sounds like it may be time for a new A/C unit!

walker, the lake house sounds like a really nice place to go and just hang out in!! ... I love wrap around decks/porches!

We're at a cool 58 now but will go up to 82 ... we were able to have the A/C yesterday ... there was a nice breeze! ... fingers crossed for the same today! 🤞

Good afternoon 

Oh I am picturing the wra around porch.  I love a porch.  

I started out with a call from brother.  I joined zoom for a church event and then when I logged off DW called and we had to discuss the happenings in her world.

I did have things I needed to accomplish but that didn't happen yet. Perhaps I will get motivated.  Brother is coming on Tuesday so I know I need to get things done. He notices everything!

Good Afternoon Friends! 😊🇺🇸

Back home ..... doesn't take long to unpack when you are only gone for a few days.  So, that is all done and time for a UB..ha!

We had a great time as always with the family.  The 3A's are such neat young men....so enjoyable.  They are doing something all the time!! In, out, in, out...eat, eat, eat!  DS and DH working on projects...always something to do.

DIL and I went shopping to get a new coffee maker...theirs went ka-poooot!  Can't live without that...yikes...four adults without coffee...not good.  It was summer fest weekend there so lots of activities.  The boys and I went to the lodge area where they had activities and a Stuff the Cop's Car with food donations for local pantry.  We took a few bags of items that DIL and I picked up earlier.  Then DIL, two of boys and I went to church.

Later, DS, DIL, DH and I went for a golf cart ride around the community....happy hour on the cart...fun.

Back for dinner and then to fireworks at night...perfect night for it too.

This morning....up and at 'em....DS, DH and one boy went to church while we fixed a brunch for all....no mimosas today.  Then....clean up time to check out....I take care of lower level, DIL upstairs and everyone pitches in with something.  All clean and ready for next visit.

Hope DH had nice birthday, Tootie, and BG doing ok with his cast....getting a lot of signatures? 😁 kittyfan, sounds like you better give your place a quick once-over before DB arrives...ha!
