Hi walker! ... the lake house sounds like a perfect getaway!! ... a place to just sit back and relax with family and food!! ... I like the "charm" (if you will) of country churches too ... my church isn't quite country but almost fits the bill ... cute and smaller.

Ugh, the hunt begins for a new gal to cut your hair ... why do they have to do that to us?? 😄 good luck!! ... when my girl wasn't in one time I had another girl cut my hair and she was pretty good too! ... she's still there so if mine leaves I should be able to switch to her!

I always enjoy starting the day with coffee and friends here...breakfast done....DH gone to his favorite store...big orange one..😆..."HD"....he should work there.  So, having my quiet time while I wait for the spirit to move me..HA!

oh the fellas and their stores.  Brother seems to spend a lot of time at Lowe's and Harbor Freight.  But he does do home Depot also!   

Brother called earlier. He said he is tired.  I had to give him my two cents.  He worked so hard on the retirement 

.  I saw how hard he worked. He said he hasn't been sleeping. But I know that is ongoing.   He will be heading this way towards the end of the month. I have a Drs at.  He is going to try to reschedule his appointment to be the same time.

Happy Wednesday!  Sit back, relax, stay cool...🥵...our humidity right now is 94%...temperature 76 and not 7AM yet.....but, tomorrow will be cooler! 👍  

kittyfan, does DB ever take a vacation?  He is stuck in high gear.  DH tends to be like that ....always busy doing something....but, he does take a UB after lunch everyday. 
This morning DH was talking about some aches and pains.

I said "your body is talking to you but you are NOT LISTENING"!  🙄

Tootie, I laughed at your DH being a "frequent flyer" to HD too.  

I am going to get my haircut this morning...😬🤞.  I decided to go back to the salon.  I did go last month after hearing my gal had left.  I tried the gal I think is manager.  I was not real happy with her.  But, you need to give people a chance.....this is it....better be good or I find another place.  Stay tuned.....💇‍♀️....🍀

New gal was not busy when I arrived.  I said "before you start with your magic scissors"....ha....and I told her specifically what I would like.  She listened and did a good job...👍.  Guess that is the key....speak up....also, she seemed to be in a good mood...😂.  

I know you needed this information right away....🤣.

Time for a UB now....I was so stressed earlier...haha.

Hello friends ... that's good news walker!! ... you stressed over nothing 😉😄 ... glad you are happy with the new girl and the cut!! ... enjoy your stress free UB!!

DIL just sent me some texts and pictures of BG ... he fractured his thumb and he has a cast (not quite to his elbow) ugh!! ... apparently he was running in the kitchen and fell and used his hand to try to catch himself ... it isn't a bad fracture and they casted him out of caution because "he is a boy" 😂😂 ... if he should fall again or "rough houses", the cast will protect his thumb ... it should heal in about 2 weeks and it can't get wet ... 🫤 

Hot, hot, hot outside ... just took some recycling out and it's like walking into a furnace! yuck 🥵🫠

Tootie.....sorry to hear about BG and his thumb.  Boys, boys, boys!  Good luck to them trying to keep it dry though!  Not your problem, eh? Ha!  It is a good thing mom is a nurse.

We just had a heavy rainstorm blow through.  I hope it clears up the humidity.  Sauna time!

Good morning friends ... it's dark and gloomy here right now ... rain moving in and then a clearing this afternoon (hahaha, I have the news on and that is the weatherman's lingo!!) ... and the rain is supposed to bring the humidity down!! 🤞

The kids stopped over last night ... BG wanted to show us his cast and he wanted us to "write on it" ... he chose a yellow cast (the color of one of his favorite movie characters) ... nothing new about a cast, same old clunky thing ... I thought maybe they would have come up with something a little lighter.

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸

Happy Thursday!  I turned off our A/C last night after temperatures dropped....ahhhhh....nice.  This morning it is cooler but still humid...."almost" put it back on.  My weather gal said we are suppose to have cool breezes today so I'm leaving A/C off.  I'll put it back on tonight as it will need to be on while we are gone.  That's my weather update from here...haha...aren't we funny, Tootie?  Habit..weather first!

Hope your rain cools things off for you, Tootie.  OK, kittyfan....TX weather report?  Sure hope it is not more rain!

I was wondering if BG might have a cast to sign, Tootie.  Then I thought.....no, things have probably improved...softer cast maybe? Guess not. Colors now too...fun for BG.  

Busy day ahead....grocery store...Grandma's Uber service for GD (another out of town baseball game for GS)...do some food prep for weekend, laundry....get organized, etc.  

Better "shake a leg".....hope you all have a nice day.
