We had a lot of heavy rain last night.  Also had a tornado watch.  Mother Earth is well-watered.  

Have a fun day with LS and BG, Tootie.  No Dullsville there today...😉.  

kittyfan, so true about trying to avoid news...I'd like to avoid it as well.  But, DH is a news junkie....has to stay up-to-date in case the President calls for advice...🤣🤣.

Nothing new in my world.....thankful, all good.  Enjoy your day.  🙏s continue for TX...NM too...all others....wonderful so many charitable groups are helping.

Good morning friends ... it was so hot here yesterday and the kids spent most of the afternoon playing in the sprinkler ... BG decided it was a "Water Park", collected water in buckets and had us pour it over it head ... 😄 ... that was fun as the "splash back" kept us cool ... LS was in rare form and it seemed that everything that BG did bothered her ... I was a little happy when they left (did I just say that? 😂)

walker, I laughed at your comment about DH keeping up with the news ... any calls from Mr. President?? 😄😂

Happy Sunday!  Weather here has been a "little" more comfortable this weekend...keyword...little.  But, heat returns tomorrow.....then our milder weather will...hopefully..come your way, Tootie.

Funny about your day with the kids, Tootie.  Sounds like BG had fun.....LS not so much.....laughing but understanding how you felt as they left....BYEEEEEE!😂

No calls for DH from the President...yet...you never know..LOL ....in meantime DH will stay up-to-date..🙄...and he keeps me informed too...🥴.

Goof Afternoon

Crazy weather.  We are under severe weather conditions.  It has been raining off and on all day.  I saw rivers flooding in the area.  They pulled people off the river doing their work.  River was rising again.  We have been in drought conditions.  I did make some contribution to sites I knew.  Some I would never donate to for various reasons. 

Oh the kids in the sprinkler-- such fun.  LS is being a little sister!

Oh the computer issues.  Tech issues seem to follow me.  Brother is back home.  I haven't talked with him but his DW called after church.  I was looking forward to grabbing lunch!  She said he came dragging in.  I said yes he needed a pajama day.  She said he was busy vacuuming and had to go to home Depot etc!   He wears me out!

Happy Monday!  Summertime...summertime...and mid-July.....sunny and continued warm...but, like you mentioned, Tootie, not like TX...oh my....when do they get a break?!  Hope you are doing ok, kittyfan. 🙏s there.

Nothing new with me....can't even babble today...haha!

We are going out to lake house with DS and family on Friday for weekend.  So, I can look forward to that and plan/fix some food.  I always try to help out with food since I have more time than my DIL.  She appreciates not having to think about it....just show up.  One dinner is easy....order 🍕pizza..😁...there is a nearby restaurant that has delicious pizza!  Always a treat for me.

Did I say I had nothing to babble about?  HA!  I can babble about anything or nothing!  😂

Good afternoon 

Oh my tech woes continue.   Ny TV remote is held together with duct tape. It's the way I got it.  It quit working yesterday repaired.  Then my tablet lost wifi. Thought I remembered password but didn't work.  Finally got on this morning.

Brother called this morning. Said he was in the patio in his pajamas intending to stay that way---doubtful!   Had a phone call had to call me back.  Then his DW called him.  They frequently call each other even if they are both in the house.  He tends to go on errands and she may hear the garage door.  But today he was on the patio enjoying his coffee.  I do have a Drs apt late month.  One of those hard to get.   So he will head this way. Also dealing with my house.   He changed contractor.  I am happy to have him dealing with everything.    Said I will have lots of cameras. Talked about feeding the deer. Neighbors do and I did at one time.  

I got a text from my last boss.  A coworker had passed. She left long before I did and I only ran into her once at the grocery.  She was still fairly young. Two former coworkers recently.  

Walker: chef hat on.  I know your family will enjoy.  I know cookies will be on the menu!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, sorry you are still having tech issues ... I wish we could get WandaWand to help you out 😉... I agree, DB staying in his pajamas is very doubtful!! 😄... it sounds like DB wasn't happy with the contractor ... is your place close to being finished? 

walker, how fun that you can get away this weekend ... is the lakehouse on/by water? 

Just saw on the news that NYC had some heavy rain and flooding ... yesterday I was reading stories about some of the young victims in the TX floods ... so, so sad!! 🙏

We will have a 90 degree day with high, high humidity! ugh 🥵 ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Tuesday!  The Heat is On....same weather here, Tootie.  Mid-July....guess it is normal?  Maybe above average....but...we'll weather the weather....😉..no choice, eh?  I can't remember a time when we ran our A/C consistently for so long...oh wait...1995 summer in July ...100's..(my weather gal just reminded me).  And, that's my weather babble. 😂 One more thing...FLOODS😱....now in NY, PA and NJ?  Holy Guacamole!  

Tech issues are so frustrating, kittyfan.  Hope yours get better.  I laughed when you mentioned my chef hat and bringing cookies to lake!  👍 YES to that!

Tootie, the lake house (always called that) is not right on water but in gated lake community.  They have a nice lot that has great views and some of lake.  DS and DIL bought lot shortly after getting married and built the house! Then DS, DIL...her father and DH did A LOT of finish work inside.  It is really nice.  It has been a work in progress over the years .... slowdown came when they found out they were expecting the 3A's.  It is very peaceful there and relaxing.  In addition to lake area there is a large pool...tennis courts, pickle-ball courts too.  They enjoy it year round but mostly summertime.  We also enjoy it there...considered moving out ourselves at one time...DS bought lot next door thinking we might someday...not yet but I think about it every time we are there.  They have a beautiful country church I really like too...3A's were baptized there.  Babbling on...🤣...

I need a haircut but my favorite gal moved away. 😫 Now, start over..ugh.
