Good evening 

Oh a good hair person is hard to find.  Brother and I were discussing hair.  He told me I needed to visit the salon!  He said he has a barber he uses.  Never thought he would pay $40 for a cut plus tip!  Not sure what fellas pay. Then he told me about a fancy salon in San Francisco. He scheduled appointment two months out. Very plush. Plied hum with cheese and wine. When he got back his DW asked him what he paid. Only then did he look at the receipt to see he paid $400 plus a $50 tip!   She traveled a lot and sometimes he would go with her. 

Brother said he will meet with the director. She has no idea what she is dealing with.  He won't mince words and with his background he will have no problem going up the ladder. 

Brother going to my house early morning. Going with a friend. I reminded him to hydrate.  I am glad he will have someone along.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, that should be an interesting meeting when DB meets with the director!! ... mens cuts here (at least at the barber where DH goes) are $20 plus tip ... 

walker, you've had quite the entertainment in your yard with the chipmunk ... determined little guy ... and doesn't it make you wonder how they even knew that the bird feeder was there in the first place?! ... ugh!! you got the double yammy at your hair place ... your girl leaving and not being happy with the next one ... I guess you have some thinking to do!

We're back to cooler weather today ... high of 68!

kittyfan, having your Snickers Ice Cream Bar brought back memories ... my kids loved Snickers Cones (but they stopped making them after a short while) and they had to switch to the bars! I forgot about those ...

Happy Tuesday!  No news since yesterday.  Another day of Adventures of Chip and Dale...😂....cute little guys but go next door ...haha.  

kittyfan, can't wait to hear about DB meeting director!  And, he should go up the ladder.  Pretty soon he'll meet with owners of the place.  Someone has to speak up for the residents!

I love Snickers and a Snickers ice cream bar would be a real treat.  I quickly pass by those in freezer section at store.  QM used to love them too....always had a box in her freezer. 😋  I don't remember the cones, Tootie.  Guess they came and went before I noticed..ha.

On with day....chores and chipmunks! 😆

Good evening

Brother was at my house. Caught him on camera. He was sitting on the porch. I called to remind him to hydrate.  He has been working on an impossible project.  Hopefully he can finalize it.  I know he won't settle for anything short of  perfect 

No news on my world.  I don't think we have chipmunk here. I am sure they can be worrisome.   

They are predicting weather again.  

I remember the drumstick ice cream but not the Snickers.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, that's pretty cool that you can keep tabs on DB 😉 and what is going on at your house ... no sitting down on the job!! hahaha!! 

walker, I thought of you this morning ... as I opened up our front door, there sat two squirrels staring at me 😯 ... I jiggled the door handle and they ran onto the lawn and looked back at me almost as if to say "we'll be back!" ... they left and ran up the tree! ... 

I had the news on last night ... I won't go into details for fear of my post being "poofed" ... but what on earth is going on in this world?? it seems that some people have gone crazy mad!!

We'll have a warm but smokey, hazy day ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing ... maybe those Snicker cones were a regional thing? all I know is that my kids were disappointed when they stopped making them.

Happy Wednesday!  Just saw weather report....90 today!

Laughing about the two squirrel visitors you had this morning, Tootie.  And, they will be back! 😂  

Speaking of critter-visitors outside.....no chipmunks yesterday!  🤞 Maybe they are resting their sore bodies from falls...or....plotting revenge...haha.  

I know what you are referring to, Tootie, and I just shake my head.  Crazy mad is right!  Sadly, madness is spreading and being fueled by bad groups.

But, back to something more pleasant....ice cream! 😋

I remember and loved Drumstick ice cream cones, kittyfan.  I'll have to treat myself to one someday....be a kid again. 

Hope DB is listening to your message of "hydrate", kittyfan.....especially in your TX heat.

Tonight is car show night here.  We will go just to have dinner with friends.....see a few cars and come home.  Maybe we'll be surprised and see more cars come out for it.  Warm night so not sure how long we will want to walk around.  I better hydrate too!  😉

I saw a post about the chipmunks digging in the flower beds!   

I have a Drs apt tomorrow.   Brother has to reschedule his meeting. He had the cameras installed.  I had temporary camera these will be permanent. Way too high tech for me!   

I talked with him today.  We talked about my house issues. He said "this isn't my first rodeo"!!!  Ha. 

Have to agree with the climate.  My town had incidents. Expecting more.

Happy Thursday!  Just opened windows again after turning A/C on last night.  It was close to 90 yesterday🥵.

Today back to mid-70's.

We made it to car show in spite of warm weather...did not browse too many cars...quick glance....head to dinner and back home.  We met our friends at usual place and got an outside table close to front of restaurant..shadiest area...had umbrella on table.  All was fine in beginning and then they set up a brass-quartet🎺🎷 behind us...😳....really??...right on top of customers trying to talk?  Nice group but too loud!  We were all irritated.  We quickly finished our meals and left.  

My favorite pie, Tootie?  🤔 Let's see quiche is a pie...😂.
Seriously, I do love Cherry from fruit pies but also love Pecan Pie as well as Lemon Meringue...love pies but don't have very often.

Any squirrels return, Tootie?  Another day without chipmunks here yesterday....🤞.

"Not my rodeo" must have originated in TX, kittyfan, since you have a lot of rodeos there.  I use that saying a lot now...thanks!  

So true about technology, Tootie.  I am so amazed.  It provided up close viewing of those eagles in CA...fascinating how they could move cameras around too.

Good evening

Well my AC 2nt out last night. I reported it first thing this morning.  Brother came to take me to Drs apt.  We stopped for food, ost office and another store.  I saw my neighbor in the hall.  His friend has a stroke.  He is in rehab.  They are really sweet fellas.  We talked about how the residents are treated.  I have brother on my corner and he will not be hesitant to take action.  The new folks get the red carpet treatment.  I can't say I got that experience but I tell brother everything.  We both feel at this point this is a good spot but if things change he will move me.  He did a lot of searching before selecting this specific spot.  I have a few activities that I do but I choose not to attend others.  

I have frequent contact with brother and his DW.  He has told me he can be here in a matter of a few hours of need be.  He did make a mistake and cancelled his return flight. He got another flight but more $$.  I told him things happen for a reason.  He will go to my house on Saturday. The contractor is scheduled to be there.   I am ready for this journey to be done. But brother has done the work.  He is ready to move to something else also.  He finally got his project to the printer.  The event will be in two weeks.  

It was a bit cooler today.
