It's toasty all around.  We are expecting triple digits this weekend.  

Oh the 3as. I am sure they are busy with their business ventures. And Tootie your grands are growing up fast.

I have had more tech issues.  Went to residents meeting this morning. Water woes.  Some times I have low water pressure.  Other times no hot water. Stock answer  tonight had water pressure but not hot water. At least I don't have to worry about maintenance issues. Brother is handling my house. I just say "yes dear".  I talked to his DW he is not drinking enough water.  We are in stero on his ear about this!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, ugh! water issues? I know you mentioned that earlier too ... how do they expect someone to shower with no hot water? ... I hope they are trying to remedy the situation ... otherwise, I think DB might just step in 😄... stay cool with those triple digit temps!

walker, I guess some people are mesmurized by the garbage truck 😂😂 ... I remember my DB would follow the truck up the street when he was little ... our schools are still in until the last week of June ... BG will graduate in a couple of weeks from PreK and he's all set for Kindergarten ... LS will start PreK in the fall ... your 3A's will be Juniors?! time is flying by!!

We'll have a warm 79 degree day and we have a "air quality alert" ... that smoke is here again! ...

Sounds like SO needs some better maintenance there, kittyfan. DB to the rescue?  Water issues, A/C issues....etc, etc.  Good luck there too.  And, stay cool!  I laughed at how you say "yes, dear" to DB.  He probably doesn't want to drink more water because he has no time for bathroom breaks in his schedule!  Ha!  

Tootie, end of June seems so late for schools....good for parents though.  Off to big school in Fall for BG...and LS to PreK....sigh....fun years though.

walker, our schools have always gone through the end of June and go back the day after Labor Day ... even waaay back when I went to school 😄

We had a pleasant day yesterday ... warm but with a cool breeze ... we were able to sit out on the patio and bird watch ... we have a family of blue jays and cardinals ... so pretty! ... we have another smaller black bird that digs for bugs and her babies follow her and squawk for their food!! it's fun to watch them!!

No other news ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Sunday!  Coffee time with friends! 👍 On with a new day.

 I enjoyed reading the bird-watching story, Tootie.  
Glad you had a nice day to be outside.  It is fun to watch that activity. Ahhhh, the simple things in life.   Lately, we have had a problem with a chipmunk getting on our bird feeder.  It's either Chip or Dale, cute little guys, but not on the feeder! It would jump from tree to feeder.   DH had to turn feeder away from tree....hope that works.

The school schedule there, Tootie, is the way it used to be when I grew up in Michigan.  Here they start in mid-August and out in mid-May.  I like summer ends at Labor Day and school starts.

kittyfan, enjoy your time with DB.  Carry water wherever you go...😉.

All for now.....off to church this morning..haven't been in awhile....hope we can still get our seats...😊.

Good Sunday afternoon

I enjoy bird watching also.  I did see a lovely bird one day I couldn't ID. I can look out and see the squirrels running about.  I peaked into the camera at home one morning. Could hear the birds chirping.  My feet camera moved and I haven't seen any in a long time.

Attended the services at SO.  Then home to join brothers church on zoom.  After church brothers DW called. We had a LONG conversation.  Their son has to say goodbye to their oldest dog yesterday.  I knew this as brother had told me.  We discussed the sermon and we talked about how she ended up here. I knew art of the story but it was interesting.  

In my day we started school the day after labor day.  For me graduation was on May 31.  We didn't have spring break and weeks at Christmas.   And of course we had dress codes. I see the young girls going to class in skimpy clothing.  One day brother and I were out.  We saw a young lady and her mother he commented she would not have left the house. I told him there was a reason why he was given a son.  

Brother said he was confused about his flight time. His son was taking him to the airport. He got a text his plane was delayed. He realized the time and had to rush.  He is just too busy!   I know he has lots on his schedule. He plans to meet in person with the director.  He has had some conversations by phone but has a lot to say.  I share everything with him. I don't agree with all the wishy washy rules. I am still not happy about the delay in fixing my AC. He wouldn't tell me how he got her phone number but he called her at home.  She doesn't know what she has stirred up!   He doesn't have a problem sitting in her office for hours to make his point. 

Yesterday I had no hot water. Today I do.  Off my soap box 

I have limited cabinet space. Brother put a bottle of cocktail sauce on the fridge. It another p akage on the fridge. Of course it came crashing down. Lid came off and cocktail sauce on floor.  I still love him. He does keep my life in order

Good morning friends ... oh no kittyfan! I bet that spilled cocktail sauce made a mess! ... and so annoying that you are still having an issue with your hot water!! ... that director better "run for the hills" when she sees DB 😄 ... we all know (even though we've never met him) he means business!! ... seriously, I hope that they can fix that problem.

walker, those little chipmunks can be so cute but not when they are raiding the bird feeder! ... I hope turning the feeder worked!! ... hahaha, did you have to ask anyone to move out of  your seat at church?? 😂 ... I'm still going to Church on the Couch and I still get my same seat every week 😂😂

We'll have a rainy day here ... grocery shopping this morning and then home to do the usual Moanday Monday (thank you cookie 💜) chores!!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸

Happy Monday!  Looks like a pretty nice day ahead.  Yesterday we had a couple of pop-up showers in the afternoon.  I tried going for a walk after first shower.  I quickly noticed more dark clouds moving in so cut it short and did the 'hustle your bustle' walk to get home.  😆

kittyfan, I thought your A/C was fixed...yikes...and hot water problems...😠.  No excuses!  Hope DB gets some action.  Laughed about comment on school attire from DB..."she would not have left home".  Public schools allow almost anything....sad to say.  Casual is fine but when it gets warm....clothes peel off ....ridiculous.  I have even seen GD wear things I thought inappropriate but everyone wants to "fit in"...🙄.

I got extra blessings yesterday, Tootie.  After I was ready for church, DH said he thought he would go to church on the couch...or maybe late Mass.  😖 Mis-Q!  So, went to church on couch....then decided I would still go to late Mass...DH stayed home.  Seemed odd ..... took different seat then afraid I took someone's...ha....crazy.

Well....dear ol' chipmunk returned yesterday....feeder turned away from tree but has a hood over it.  Chipmunk went up tree....jumped onto hood cover but then when he tried to reach perch, he fell off....😂.  Then, he did it again!!!  Fell off..ha!  Third time....he found a way to get to the perch...😠.  I chased him away ..... new day today to see if he returns.  Stay tuned.....who will win...haha.

Hi there.....how's it going?  Chilly here!  Clouds moved in as well as little wind.....bundle up again. 

I am bummed!  My hair gal has left salon.  I called this weekend and was told she was on vacation and they don't know when she will return....odd.  Today I made an appointment for haircut with the person I think is manager.

She told me my gal has moved and is not returning.  😟 Get your stories straight!  I was not real happy with new gal.  I did not find her to be very friendly.  And, I think she cut me too short. Why did I tip?🤷‍♀️  I did. Hair will grow...not sure what I will do now.  I have a month to think about it before I need another cut. 

Then Mr. Chipmunk🐿️.....trying again....DH and I laughed watching him try but fall a couple of times today.  DH adjusted it again....we'll see.  First squirrels and now chipmunks....life with nature.  I like to feed the birds but wondering if it is worth it.  Not getting many hummingbirds either.

On we go.....such an exciting day.....had to share.  😁
