Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I bet you saw all kinds of cool items while you worked at the TS ...  glad you got to play dominoes ... did DB get to meet Chatty Cathy? 😄... you may have to take some extra UB's this weekend, it sounds like you will have a busy Monday.

walker, I bet someone will buy your bike ... treasure the memories!! ... I got my childhood bike from my grandparents for my First Communion ... it was a 24" and I was so excited to take it for it's first spin ... it was so big for me that I couldn't even sit on the seat but still insisted on riding it ... I crashed into the bushes so many times on it ... 😯😄 I had it up to high school until someone stole it ... 😡

We'll have a cooler day with rain ... high of 68 ... have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Looks like you all have quite the long-term forum relationship going on here. Sorry if I'm party-crashing. I don't get on these forums much--as you can see by the total number of my posts.

Lovely spring weather here in the Midwest. My iris are blooming like crazy. And the roses and peonies are putting on quite a show. Hope to pop a few annuals in my giant outdoor flower pots and finally--after 7 or 8 years lost in storage!!--get out my QVC-purchased solar lights for the backyard garden area.

Going for a pedi in a few hours and then out to Jose Peppers with friends after that.  Hope you all have a blessed weekend!

Fear Quack!

No you aren't party crashing. We love seeing new faces.  We have had folks come and go. We miss our old posters and there is always a spot at the table.  

I love iris. I miss having a garden and flowers but I do have a lovely view complete with squirrels. Today is toasty and even the squirrels and birds are staying cool.

Hello friends....and welcome Quack!  I join my good friends here in welcoming you to the group.  We are the best friends who have never met but through this forum.  It has been ongoing fun for many years.  A very special group...10+ years.  We look forward to having you join us.

OK....back from the weekend....I am SO TIRED!  There is no rest with this group...wired like your DB, kittyfan..ha!  Lots going on and it was windy too...Weather not great for garage sale but many did come out.  I did not sell my bike but gave it away free at end of the day.  An older man who has a farm said he could use it or his daughter...saying "I'll give it a good home.😢 (Tootie, sorry your bike was stolen.). The boys were...as always...fun...they sold some things but not as much as they had hoped.  BUT....what do they do?...go around to other sales and buy more things!  All I could say was "your mother will be thrilled"🙄.  But, they fix things and resell on Facebook or other places I guess.  "NOT MY RODEO"

Since DIL was not there, I was the chief cook and bottle washer!  Boy, do those guys eat!  Weather wasn't good for sitting outside much (DS and DH did most plus boys when not shopping..🤣)....so I cleaned the sunroom/three-season room ..one Spring chore not done yet....had to laugh...boys would come in and say "smells clean in here".  

All for now but wanted to say hello....miss my daily check-in with you....but glad all is well around our kitchen table...😉.  See you tomorrow.

Good evening

Oh yes the fellas can eat!   How funny they went and collected more things. It sounds like they are enterprising young men.  

Brother is not 100 percent. He went to my house on Saturday. Fortunately he wasn't alone. Had his buddy with him.  Brother got too hot and had to cool down. My neighbor always comes over when he is there. So there was someone handy but I still was concerned.  I talked to him a few minutes ago.  He has business to complete after church. Was home and had his pajamas on.  He has an early Drs apt and then will pick me up to do labs. He has delayed his return home. My house needs more attention. He is hoping to complete by the end of the month. Thank goodness NOT MY RODEO!!!

The weather in the Midwest has been horrific.  So many  affected by the devastation.

walker, welcome back! ... glad you had a good time ... laughed at the 3A's comment about the "clean" smell in the sunroom (I can smell it now 😉😄) ... ha! the 3A's went "shopping" ... that's the thrill of garage sales ... I know it's bittersweet for you for letting your bike go but it sounds like the gentlemen will use it and just think, now you don't have to worry about storing it ... (sorry, I know it's easier said than done!)

We're in for a cooler week with rain moving in Wednesday ... right now we're at a cool 47 and will only go up to 57! ... and we have a frost warning for tonight so that means we have to bring our plants in ...

Moanday Monday 💜... no plans ... just to get those chores done! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🌤️🇺🇸

Happy Monday!  It is chilly here too, Tootie, in fact our furnace came on earlier.  I think we will be in 50's today with cool week ahead.  Tomorrow we are supposed to to have storms..🥴...great...I have to go out too....dreaded dental appointment.

My 3A's...young entrepreneurs is right, kittyfan.  I had to laugh when they said...."that's how you make money".  They are workers!  

It sounds like someone needs to put DB on lockdown for a week.  I hope he feels better soon.  I know it concerns you, kittyfan.  He does so much for others.  He needs to do a little for himself too.  

I keep thinking about my whirlwind weekend.  Glad the bike is finally gone and I don't have to think "what will I do with it?"  DH did take off my little "license tag" we were required to have in my city.  Add that to my memorabilia collection....ha.  

On with the day.....slowly...😂....laundry only and take a walk.....UB for sure.😉  Hope everyone has a nice day.  See you later.....oh...pass the mimosas...😁👍!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Guess what ? I'll soon be a queen. (haha) I'm getting my first crown & am not a happy camper. I will say that the window view of the birds (including a woodpecker), squirrels, & rabbits was somewhat relaxing despite the unhappy news from my new dentist.

Beautiful, cool day here after storms last night. Just a few leaves and branches in the yard to rake up.

I'll peace out for now as hubs brought me a yummy Chick-Fil-A salad home after his errands.
