Good evening 

Brother left here at night saying he was going home to bed.  I was surprised to get a call later. Said he had a thought. Going back to sleep.  This morning we talked. He said he got unto organize his office. Said his DW told him to go back to bed. Asked him this morning if he remembered. He said not really.  He was feeling chipper this morning. Handled some issues for me.  I checked the camera and saw he was at the house. I watched him checking things. We talked on his way back. He said not his first rodeo with building houses. He has done two custom homes.  Not a ground up but a total remodel.  He was on his way to meet his DW and the dog at the vet.    She was concerned about some spots on her back.  

Had a five minute shower.  Cooled things off. 

Oh yum. Grilling season has begun.  Enjoy.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, hahaha, DB can't even rest when he is sleeping ... I guess the only way he will ever take a UB is to be tied down!! 😂 ... how is your house coming along?

walker, I wonder if they don't put black jelly beans in the mix anymore? I haven't bought a bag in years (the kids never really liked them) ... I love licorice though and remember as a kid always trading for the black ones!!

We had thunderstorms overnight and will have more of the same today ... I have some laundry to do ... it's a good day to do that!!

Have a good day ... and where's cookie? I woke up thinking it was Saturday (and even DH had to think about it when I asked him what day it was) 😂😂 cookie always had her little quotes about what day it was! ♥️ ... pouring and passing.

Happy Friday!  I'm waiting for my weather report here but I think we will have some rain later.  Yesterday was picture-perfect! ☀️😎

kittyfan....a rhyme...."oh yum...grilling season has begun"...ha!  Good one.  Yes, it did here but can only get better as season goes on...🤞.  DH misjudged hamburgers and they were too rare for me.  I got distracted and forgot the sweet potato waffle fries I had in oven...🥴...crispy! HA!  We've only been grilling/cooking for 50 years...🤷‍♀️.

Laundry for me to do today too, Tootie.  Instead of a get your motor running day....it will be....get your machines running day!  You can start without me...I need more coffee..😂.

I can sure relate to thinking it was Saturday....a long time ago I heard....when you retire everyday is a Saturday!  How true.

I missed the Pope's funeral....guess I'll catch a rerun 😉.

happy BD to the 3as

I don't know about our dominos group.  It quickly deteriorated into a competition of meds!   I told DB about it and he just laughed.  I know I could trump any of them with my $$$ meds but I only shared that with DB and his DW.  I know he has a costly med also.  

Chatty Cathy sold her house. She and her intended are building a house.  They aren't on the same page on the wedding. She wants simple-+ he wants more.  She has sold her house he hadn't started cleaning out etc!  I am glad I am on the sidelines on this one.   

I had yet another bill linked to the debit card I had to cancel.  I had more things linked than I realized.  

My printer ink arrived. I am on a program with HP. I think it is cheaper as ink is very costly.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, isn't it something how some people enjoy and have to make it a point to share such information ... especially their meds! 😏 ... I think you have the best spot to enjoy the goings on with ChattyCathy ... you can cheer them along on thier journey 😉😃 ... ugh, so annoying that you had to change your debit info but something that had to be done ... what is wrong with people ... we got a notice yesterday that someone is stealing mail from the boxes in front of our Post Office! 😯 ... we're supposed to go inside the PO now and mail anything that may contain a check/cash.

walker, how did things go with the 3A's? ... I did watch some of the rerun of the Pope's funeral ... I thought it was kind of odd that cameras weren't allowed in the Basilica (or maybe it's always been that way?) 🤷‍♀️

We'll have a sunny 62ish degree day ... yesterday was rainy and damp all day long!! ... sunshine is welcome today!! 🌞😎 I want to get some of my outdoor garden/patio decorations out ... today may be the day!!

Happy Sunday!  I think we have a nice day coming up.  That's good because we have a soccer game to go to for GD this afternoon. Tomorrow is still predicted to be 80.  I don't know how to dress anymore...ha...start out in layers and peel off as day goes along.

The Adventures of Chatty Cathy...funny...to us..but you have to listen to all of it, kittyfan.  I can't get over wedding...simple or big?🙄  What?  At an older age?  Simple for sure...oh well...as you say, "not my rodeo".

Speaking of simple...Pope's funeral...simple man...huge funeral...he was loved by many.  I don't know about the Basilica either, Tootie.

Too bad about problems with mailboxes there, Tootie.  We have had those problems in our area too.  Pretty soon that won't be a problem with postal rates going up....less mail!

Well, 3A's got their licenses yesterday....look out world!  Apparently they found a DMV open not far from lake house so they were out there.  Then later they returned home and off with friends celebrating.  We'll see them today.  I have the funniest book for them....Things Not to Crash Into...one thing is "old people" with picture of older woman trying to cross the street.  I labeled her GRANDMA!  HA!
