Good morning friends ... kittyfan, you certainly lived up to your BusyBee name!! busy, busy, busy!! ... glad you were able to get so much done! ... good luck with the dietician today, I bet you'll get some great tips!!

walker, wow, 3 volleyball games for your GD?? that's a lot!! ... how did she do?? ... I missed you at the store but thought of you as I walked by the Halloween candy and saw the candy corn ... enjoy yours!! ... no nap yesterday 😏 but I did sleep good last night ... thanks for the tip on the Apple Bites, I got the pastry but haven't made them yet ...

We had some rain overnight but it is supposed to clear up and be a sunny 65 degree day ... we have LS today so maybe we can get outside or go for a walk and check out the Halloween decorations ... we decided to take our portable air conditioners out yesterday so I got a lot of cleaning done ... (now let's hope it doesn't get to be boiling hot, but they're easy enough to put back in if it does)

Happy Wednesday!  Wacky Wednesday...Wonderful Wednesday....Winning Wednesday....have a WOW Wednesday....ha.....walker wound up today...🤣.  Maybe it is the cooler morning....🤷‍♀️....ok...on we go....

Saw two of three (actually 6) volleyball sets (tournament) for GD....last one being played after 6pm....we left because DH was hungry and we wouldn't get home until after 7pm if we stayed.  Anyway....these girls played two games against one team first....lost both.....then next game against another team....won both ....third was two more with another team...they won and go to semi-finals today.

I'm not sure if we will go as it is in a community further away....we'll see how day goes.  I told GD just to keep having fun....of course winning is more fun than losing!

kittyfan, you need roller 🛼 skates when DB is in town! Dietician should be helpful...that will be interesting.  Take those power naps when you can! 😴

I never made it to store yesterday but will today.  Kids all coming for dinner on Sunday to celebrate DS's birthday (Mon)....better decide what I want to fix.

Have fun with LS today, Tootie.  She can start collecting pretty leaves soon.  I remember my GS used to like collecting pine cones.  Laughed at getting your "Calgon moment"....good way to start the day..might end day with one too...😅.

Better get going....I need some brain food..make that a lot of brain food....ha!  Coffee too.....bye for now.

Good morning friends ... walker, wow! that's a lot of games for your GD, but good for them!! ... I hope they do well with the next round of games 🤞!! ... funny about your GS collecting pine cones ... LG did the same thing!! DH would take him for a walk and he would come back with his little truck backpack (LG always took that with him for a walk) and it would be filled with pinecones!! 😂😂

kittyfan, hope things went well for you yesterday!

We were able to get outside for a walk and playing in the yard ... actually needed a jacket, especially in the shade! 😕 ... but LS had fun running around ... she was following a small white butterfly in the yard and it flew over to the next yard ... she came to me crying because "the butterfly went away" 😊 she is our animal lover!!

We'll have a sunny 70 degree day ... but did you notice that it is so chilly in the morning?? it's 48 here now ... I guess our Fall is here!!

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🍂🍁🇺🇸

Happy Thursday!  It just dawned on me that yesterday was the 2nd.....two months since we last heard from cookie😢.

On a happier note, Tootie, cute stories about kids.  They do keep us smiling.  Unfortunately, no smiling after volleyball here yesterday.  We did go.  Team played four games....lost all.  ☹️ Season over.  GD not happy leaving.

They had good plays and missed some too.  I think they just wore out.  

Funny story....small world.....I realized at yesterday's games, I had GD's coach in preschool years ago..25 maybe..yikes...time does fly. She was the cutest little girl.  I sat next to her grandmother at games on Tuesday and we chatted quite a bit.  She showed me pictures of her granddaughter's four month old son.  Long story short I never connected because of her married name.  Then yesterday the grandma came in with coach's mother (they did not see me).....bingo.....I knew her. I knew coach always stayed in our community.  I used to read her name in paper as a star volleyball player in high school.   Wow....I kept starring at coach and could not get over it.   We did not talk last night.....not a good evening for it....maybe another time we will cross paths again.  

I have noticed recently the mornings are cooler, Tootie.  Definitely Fall!

Good evening

Yesterday zipped by.  I am working on some legal docs. Brother and I needed to button some things up.  He has my POA and I have a trust so things need to be done properly 

Walker:  how sweet that you touched lives!   Oh yes loss hard to take but we do learn from that.

I miss my pine trees. But I have a lovely courtyard to enjoy.  A neighbor waters the grounds in the morning and another neighbor has a garden spot she tends.

Tootie:  LS is a sweet girl .  Sounds like a gentle soul 

Brother has been working on issues with my house. Lots of questions.  He has a list and a plan.  Yesterday when we talked he said he had just gotten out of his PJs!   Some days it just sounds good. I knew on Monday they both had Drs apts etc they were dealing with.  Tuesday we started out at 7 am. Long day when he took me home. 

Tuesday I have a Drs apt and then more appointments.

Good morning friends ... walker, it is a small world ... my grandfather (rip) always said, "you never know who you are talking to" ... never understood what he meant until I got older, but how true!! ... sorry about your GD's loss but I hope they had fun playing ... but Yikes!! that's a lot of games ... 2 months already for missing cookie!!?? 😥

kittyfan, I hope things can start moving along with your house and it sounds like DB is going to make it happen 😊 ...

Yesterday we finished cleaning up/taking down things from our front and back yard ... flowers are all gone!

No plans for today except for some laundry ... fun wow!! ... have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Friday!  I miss waking up to the brighter ☀️ mornings....oh well...sun will rise soon.  I can't remember if time will change in November or has that ended?  Guess we'll find out eventually.

I think I know what I am fixing for dinner here Sunday.  Off to store for some things this morning.  I change my mind a lot ...haha.  But, I want to keep it simple so will make a Spaghetti Bake ahead that I can pop in oven.  Also, going to make my own Parmesan Rolls.  Salad...maybe...dessert...of course! 😆 A little Happy Hour and then Let's Eat...Dig In!

kittyfan, you and DB are getting all your "ducks in order".

Funny you mentioned M&M's...that is what I give out every Halloween.

Good evening

I was up late last night doing laundry 

I got a rude awakening by an alert on my phone. I houghti had them turned off. 

I went to get some breakfast.  Then to residents meeting. I had to reschedule appointment for lab as brother has us running. I have another appointment and then we have to go to my old own to handle some business and wait for install.  Brother bought a camera to keep an eye on things. I will have to have Internet.  

I was looking at the laundry I needed to fold and put away.  Brother has been to a drs apt.  Came in with food. Folded all my laundry. Organized my cabinets again!   He just did that when I was in the hospital.  Swept the floor. Checked my mail,  washed my dishes, got on computer, did some actions for Alexa. Left to get his DW a salad. Sadly I am not allowed.  Darn meds. No Texas grapefruit for me. 

I learned our chef has left.  Third one to leave since I have been here. We were in a rut.  No variety.  

Time changes in November.  Not sure if that will be final change. I believe so.  Early sunset.

Good morning friends ... walker, your whole dinner plan sounds delicious! I love a spaghetti bake! and the Happy Hour is a must 😉😁 ... we change the clocks back on November 3 ... I wish they would make up their minds to do away with it once and for all ... I haven't heard much talk about that lately though ...

kittyfan, yikes! your DB runs circles around the Energizer Bunny ... he's got no rest in his bones ... does he hire out? he would have a hay day with my cupboards 😂😂 ... I hope that the new chef will bring in some better foods for you ... you mentioned a camera ... is this at your house and you will be able to watch the progress and keep an eye on the workers?

We'll have a cooler but sunny 62 degree day ... we're going to tackle the shed today and get it cleaned out and organized ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

I'll sign up for his wonderful services too.  Ha!  Next he'll be the new Chef at SO!  Man of the Year! 👏

Speaking of a Chef....that would be me here....prep work today for tomorrow.  I decided I will toss a salad....and DS is not a cake fan so birthday dessert will be "ice cream" with brownies and cookies.  All simple....works for me!

 Pray for those people in south suffering so much after hurricane.  I am still shocked seeing pictures on TV and interviews...so sad!  Wish I could do more.
