Happy Wednesday!  Warm Wednesday coming up so it might be an A/C day.  At least it is not as hot and humid as we had a couple of weeks ago.  

Cute story about DB's grandkids, kittyfan.  That might be LG too when he starts PreK, Tootie.  Glad PT is helping as it would be discouraging if you went through it for nothing.

I have been around the Q for years.  I used to do a lot of impulse buying 🙄 but got smarter over time...ha.  I don't know when I discovered the forum boards but glad I did.  The SCC group has been the best! We have formed a close bond and shared a lot..with lots of laughs too!  I have also gotten good recipes and information....seen a lot of posters come and go.  Which reminds me, kittyfan, do you still have contact with FHG?  I forgot her name...Arlene?  I remember bigkat from Michigan that I used to wave to on my way to visit my mother.  Then Kathy in CO too was here for awhile.  On we go......

I do remember some of our posters. I do have contact with Arlene AKA FHG!  She is doing well 

I also have done too much on the Q.  Now I peek but don't buy!  My last boss was a Q shopper. She would have to be at her D h to the PO box if she was expecting a goodie to arrive!

Good morning friends ... we were able to get up to the park yesterday and the kids had a great time ... DH and I were a little stressed though as they have several different kinds of metal climbing things for kids to climb on 😲 (which were a little too big for LG/LS) so we were a little nervous watching them ... some were off limits!! ... we finally packed up and went to the smaller playground (in the same park) and everyone was happy!! 😉😄

kittyfan, ugh triple digits?? and I complain about our weather being in the 80s ... hope things are still going well with your PT.

walker, I remember the past posters too ... Kathy would always come up with some good drink recipes when we would have our FanatasyFridays ... fun memories!!

Shout out to cookie ... 👋 I wish you would come back and let us know how you are doing ... you are missed!!

We'll have another hot and humid 84 degree day ... probably an A/C day ... ugh!! when it starts to become "fallish" I would much rather have my windows opened, but with the humidity we can't ... oh well, cooler days are ahead 😏

Just the usual chores for me today ... I've been wanting to clean out my dresser drawers but I think I'll save that for a rainy day 😁 Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Thursday!  You might get that rainy day soon, Tootie....ha!  It will be rainy here today.

 I don't have to go anywhere so I might do some of my "sprucing" up for company next week.....if she doesn't cancel.  You are right, kittyfan, visitors mean cleaning time...guess that is a good thing.  It is easy to let things go with just two of us.

Glad things went well with LG & LS yesterday, Tootie.  Those climbing structures always made me nervous.

Summer over for kids here...GS (10th) started yesterday and GD (8th) goes today.....3A's (10th) next week.  🚌 will be rolling again....another sign....Fall 🍂🍁is coming!

walker, school starts here in a couple of weeks ... but wow! all of your grandsons (in your area) are in the same grade, so that must mean they were born around the same time?? what fun that must have been having 4 babies around!! ... I hope they and your sweet GD have a good school year!! ...

Yesterday we went down to the basement and took up a bigger area rug that had seen better days ... DH had some of those rubber tiles/mats that interlock so we put those down (I actually handed them to him 😄) ... what a difference a small change can make ... I did help a little 😉😂

We'll have another hot and humid 82 degree day but we are expecting rain around dinner time ... coming from your way walker ... and it should stick around for the weekend ...

Happy Friday!  Cute owl picture and message, Tootie.  It made me smile so will certainly do same for cookie.

Thanks for the good back-to-school wishes for my grands, Tootie.  When they were all little it was all-hands-on-deck helping out.  The 3A's were born five months after first grandson.  When GD came along, she was a real trooper keeping up with the boys.  Now, it is funny....the boys like to talk with her about school, stuff, girls, stuff, girls....haha.

The years go so fast....watch how quick LG goes from PreK to 1st to 5th, etc.  Hope LG likes school....bet he will.

Sounds like you did a good job as flooring assistant, Tootie. 😉 Good place for LG and LS to play?

Laundry and few errands today....also have to give friend a call and see if she still plans to come next week.  I wouldn't want to work too hard cleaning if she isn't 😂!  She is a Queen of Clean too....🙄.

Today I played dominos. I did not have the best time. Chatty kathy arrived late as usual.  Oh well 

Housekeeping changed here. New lady doesn't speak English. Trues to communicate bt Google translate on her phone. When I left another lady was trying to communicate with her. I understand her frustrations.

Good morning friends ... oh my gosh walker, I can imagine the chaos (in a fun way) with all of those babies!! ... hope you can get your spare room all ready for your visitor ... and if she doesn't show at least you'll have it clean and can mark that room off of your "to do" list!! 😉 ... LG/LS can go down to the basement and have a "soft landing" now if she falls or he runs and slides ... LG loves to go down with DH and "helps him fix things" with his little tools ...

kittyfan, glad you were able to get out to play Dominos but, ugh!! ChattyKathy?? it appears she hasn't changed ... I hope the communication between you and housekeeping gets a little better, that would be frustrating ... great X!!

Speaking of cleaning, my friend still plans to visit (Thursday-Sun) so I'll be doing some extra cleaning today.  Like you said, Tootie, if she doesn't arrive, at least things are clean so I can scratch it off my to-do list for awhile.
