Good evening

Another toasty day here.  Take out continues to be a work in progress.  Today I asked for salad but got yummy carrot cake instead.  Salad at SO is predictable?

Brother called me late morning. Trying to resolve phone issues as carriers changed. Since I don't answer unknown calls did not answer until his id popped up. Noni don't get paper bills. Haven't in years. So he popped over to research issue.  Said he started off day with Drs apt.  Was leaving here to take DW to hair appointment. Tommoe he is driving MS Daisy tomapt across town. 

He has my vehicle as I am not driving. He said the lawn guys were there vi

It was dusty so needed to go to car wash. Okay ladies I am seeing Mr. Walker and and Tootie commiserating!!!!

Wow kittyfan, busy day for you again.  Glad you got Carrot Cake instead of Salad - SO not on the ball?  More phone issues - Carrier change.  Why cant they just make it simple?  Seems like they must make it confusing. Good thing your brother is around.  He should be King!  

walker, hope you got a great pedicure - one with crowns???😂 Try Flautas - they are geat.  We prefer the barbacoa beef ones and of course must have avocado or guacamole and onions.  You can add anything you want.  No Cilantro - not a fan!🤢  

Tootie, I went to Costco to search for glasses as many people recommended them to me.  The selection was huge, but I didnt find exactly what I wanted.  I finally found one that was close and since I will be wearing them to see, not to be fashionable, I just chose the closest to what I wanted.  I don't like choosing glasses either!  The Cosco is new and HUGE!  DD did some shopping while I was looking at glasses.  She found a bag of Reeses chocolate covered animal crackers among other goodies, and we each had a few samples - YUM!!!  More fun than looking at glasses! 😋 

Another warm day here - 88 with some showers and T-storms in the afternoon.  Of course, kittyfans car was washed!😁 Well see.  I plan to relax with a good UB to rid myself of the lengthy glasses search. Any excuse is a good one😊

cookie, glad you were able to pick out a pair of glasses ... and those animal crackers covered in reeses chocolate would be delicious!! I'll have to look for those here.

walker, did you pick a summer color for your nails?

We'll be a cool 64 again today but it should be sunny 🤞 ... yesterday it looked like a fall day, cloudy and cool ... but it should start to warm up tomorrow.

Tomorrow is kids day so I'll be going to the grocery store in a little bit ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

kittyfan, I did chuckle about the lawn work...DH had a problem with broken handle on his mower.  Most people would say....it's old I should just get a new one...nope....he repaired it....ha!

Today had an apt.  Brother picked me up.  Got to building. Went to wrong office!  He had scheduled the apt but we had been there before. Got to correct spot.  Even though we were early they were ready for me.  Left medical rain drops?  Stopped for lunch.  He got a text wanting to know if he was okay from storm.  So he called his DW they had lost power and there were issues.  He dropped me off and headed home.  

Scheduled Holly for surgery. Had to call to reschedule to work with his schedule. We laughed about his, hers, my apts and throw in Holly!  His doggie had surgery last week.

Got notification of Covid cases. I did test.  I limit contact with others and got out the masks again.  With this population there are so many underlying health issues.

kittyfan,  busy busy busy you are.  Good brother is around and such a great help.  Hope he was able to fix the power for his DW.  So Holly is part of all the appointments - need to keep the Canine Queen in good health😊 

Tootie, have fun with the littles. Hope your weather complies. Yes, those Reeses animal cookies covered with peanut butter and chocolate are delicious!  It is a very light covering - not thick and messy.  DD and I almost finished 1/2 the bag!  

walker, hope your DH has either fixed his lawn mower handle or bought a new mower.  I rmember when SIL got his new mower(looks like a crab)  It was very costly but he loves it. He drives it all over (just for fun?) It turns on a dime and makes it fun and easier.  Men and their toy$$.

DVS here - dental appointment this morning - routine cleaning.  Not looking forwward to it because we have rain and T storms predicted at the time of my appointment.  Hard to carry an umbrella with a walker😒☂ I will get there wet.  New look for me.  Home to 81 and hopefully no rain!  More organizing files and my Kindle.  Good day to stay in - UBs here I come.

Good morning friends ... ugh, sorry you Texas ladies are having those storms ... we've had a cool and cloudy past couple of days with a few showers but are finally going to see some sun today ... our high will be 74 but should get warmer by the weekend.

cookie, good luck with your dentist appointment ... I hope the rain holds off until you can get nestled inside.

kittyfan, isn't it nice when the office takes you a little earlier than scheduled?? ... I laughed at Holly being thrown into the mix now too! ... more Covid cases! I know you will be cautious.

walker, I got a laugh about your DH and his mower handle ... mine would do the same thing ... "there's nothing else wrong with it, it still works, I can fix it!" 😏😂

Weather is heating up here....high 80's and 90's next week.  Summertime....Summertime!  I better get to store early so I can get ice cream home before it melts! (I do remember Neopolitan and like it too.)

Good luck with dental cleaning, cookie, getting there and back ok.  You could maybe put on a big TX style hat to protect from rain. 😉

kittyfan, glad you are staying well there.  Hope Holly's surgery is nothing too serious for her.  Another appointment for the calendar.

Get those running shoes on, Tootie, and have a good day with kids.  I laughed at comment about fixing lawn mower...exactly right!  😂  Never get rid of something that still works!  Mower is now fixed and ready to go again!

Hello friends ... we had a beautiful 75 degree day ... we were able to play outside for most of the day 😁 it makes it so much easier when they can run, run, run outside ... with the exception of LS having a total meltdown when we had to come home from the park, we had a good day!! ... park, lunch, nap and outside in the yard!! ... we had a fun day ...

My kitchen is cleaned up and now it's time for a UB ...

Have a good night ... see you in the morning ... maybe with a piece of Queens Hawaiian Quiche ... sounds good!
