Good morning ~

Had an uneventful drive down to the nail salon.  No ice, rain, snow or slippery roads. just 33 degrees.  So nice to be there.  It was fairly empty which is not normal.  When I arrived, it was cold and windy there. No winds when I left home. I had my lady - who looks 30 and is a Grandma - did my favorite color - no change for me😄😉 Of course she did a beautiful job - they all do! She will be going on vacation for 5 weeks but has me covered with another lady that I like as well as her.  

walker, you and Tootie are really cold up in Dullsville N.  It is cold here too.  We will be 42 with a low of 26 - waiting for the warmer weather they are promising this weekend. Hibernating seems to be the only way to deal with this cold.  

kittyfan, hope you are staying warm,safe and on the other side with no side effects from your new meds$$$$.

Happy Saturday!  One more day closer to Spring. Grin and Bear It!  🥴 We will bundle up this afternoon and go to GS basketball game...yea...out of the house! 

cookie, so glad you got out for that manicure.  It feels good to look at pretty nails doesn't it?  Always perks me up.

A hair cut would perk me up!  I went in to my gal before Christmas.  I knew she was taking a vacation after Christmas until mid-January.  I think she just returned earlier this week.  But, with weather so cold and being in hibernation, I need a push to get out.  I'll put it on my list for next week or get those drapery pulls out....haha.

Tootie, I hope the football game will be on there tomorrow.  I heard where they had been asking people to come out and shovel seats in stadium.  I'm sure you want to hurry over and help...😂.  GO BILLS!

Tootie, I didn't realize just how cold you were - 18???!!!  and lots of snow?We sure are having see saw weather.  We will be 36 and cooler than yesterday. As you said, onward and upward...... can't do anything about it.  I'll bet LG and LS love the snow - kids always have fun in the snow.

walker, needing a haircut must be catching.  I am supposed to be getting one on Monday before I need to get out my drapery pulls.  Although it may end up being the next Monday - no complaints - price is right. Hair and nails grow so fast. Hibernate some more - it's a good thing.

Good morning friends ... cookie, yes LG/LS love the snow but can't stay out too long because it is so cold out ... I'm in need of a haircut too but am not going out (and I don't even know if the place has been open) ... I trim my bangs as needed 😲

walker, yes, they had so many show up to shovel that they had to turn people away ... they're paying $20 an hour and had 400 people show up!! (die-hard fans) I'm anxious to see just how much they go done! ... how was your GS's game??

GS's team lost yesterday....guess I don't bring any luck to them.  🤷‍♀️ And, GD had a gymnastics event that DD went to with her and she didn't do too well either.  An off day I guess...oh well.....I always tell them I see plenty of pros who make BIG money have bad days too!  Just a game!  

All for now.....going to glance at paper, get breakfast and go to church....have not been since Christmas....Church on Couch is good too.

Good morning

It's nippy here today.  Dogs went out and zipped back inside.

Rain predicted to begin this afternoon.

But thankfully no snow for us.    I saw the snow on the weather. Happy not to have to deal with it.

Brother had put my cable box on a shelf.  I had difficulty reaching it so last week he lowered it.  I had to access it on Friday. Told him it was so nice. He laughed and said he didn't know what we was thinking. I said it looked great but not functional.  I assured him I would not be standing on a chair and would have to wait for him.

Happy Lions won their football game today...Michigander at heart.  Now onto Bills game...GO BILLS!  

DH and I did get to church and took short walk today...both felt good!
