Happy Thursday!  Happy, happy day for cookie!  Enjoy the  visit with DS and SO.

Cute name for LG's and LS's Elf, Tootie, Snowy.  Fun for kids to search for him.  Snow for you..oh boy....always pretty at beginning of season ...and in December for Christmas...after that...hibernation season begins...haha!

Yesterday I had lunch with my Chatty Cathy friend.  I like her a lot but she talks too much.  Most of conversation can be interesting but some puts me to sleep.  I don't understand people like this....don't they realize how much they talk?  Take a breath and let other person talk. 🙄 We were at restaurant over two hours. I was exhausted when I got home...took a quick UB and went to basketball game for GS...more fun! Ha!

Just popping in. My apt is a bit later. Thankfully not 6 am this time.  Brother had a procedure yesterday. Sent me a text it had gone well and he had good sleep.  We laugh about that.  He said he was going through boxes. Found some pics of when we worked together and we had good times. I told him we did---we celebrated his BD every month!!!

Back from my appointment. Not as bad as I expected. I had heard horror stories.  First doc was very young looking.  Then called in second doc. Discussed the findings. Report will go to my doc this evening. Brother was very interested in looking at computer findings!   Office was actually very easy to find.  I told him that this is first apt in ages didn't have to weigh in. Walked past the scale!!

walker, I laughed at your comment about your ChattyCathy friend "take a breath and let other person talk" ... that's so true ... if I'm with someone who talks a lot like that (DIL's mother) I find myself tuning them out 😳 not a good thing but one can only listen and listen and listen for so long ... glad that you were able to "relax" at GS game!!

cookie, hope your DS/SO arrived and you are catching up with them ...

Good morning ~

Well, they have arrived!  DS and SO didn't waste any time galavanting around restaurants.  They made a bee line for Juan in a Million - a favorite place for them.  they always make a special trip just to see Juan- a very personable man and owner.  They are the galloping gourmands and must see everythig and  make a statement🤣  Haven't seen hide nor hair of them but probably will this afternoon after my manicure.  

Oh no, walker, you have a Chatty Cathy too?  Hard, when they are good friends, to listen without falling asleep as you said. Two hours at the restaurant - glad you took a quick UB and got to go to GS's Basketball game.  Games are fun with youngsters. Hope they did well  

Tootie, I agree  someone who talks a lot  - you can only listen for so long (too long🤔) without falling asleep.  Hope you enjoyed your time with the Littles.  

kittyfan, sounds like the doc visit went well. Glad you had such a nice time reminiscing with your brother - he is such a great guy and you are so very lucky!  Actualy so is he to have a person like you in his life!🌺

I can't figure it out but I had another night trying to sleep ... ugh!! UB's for me today 😁

We'll have a mild 52 degree day with sun!! and tomorrow we're expected to go up to 58 ... yahoo!! Have a good ... pouring and passing.

Happy Friday!  Yesterday was beautiful here...sunny and 50's...today the same...👏.  Good day to run errands.  Enjoy your good weather too, Tootie, more coming!

cookie, glad DS and SO other arrived safely.  You will have a fun weekend ahead.  I laughed also at the call for ABC Police...caught yourself and turned yourself in...😂.  Good Z!

kittyfan, another procedure appointment done..onto another day.  SCC Strong...we keep rolling along!

Tootie, you must be excited for Santa to come with sleepless nights!  😆 Hope you get back to a normal sleep pattern.  I've been there too....☹️.

DH and I are having a debate about coffee this morning.

I just opened a new package and made as always.  I think coffee tastes like warm water...he says fine...🙄.  I am wondering if quality of product is changing.  I'll add more tomorrow or start buying a more robust coffee.  🤷‍♀️ Prices go up and quality goes down?

Oh I have to agree about prices and quality!!!  I appreciate a cup of coffee with some kick.  Colored water doesn't do it for me,!

Tootie:  unfortunately I am on the insomnia train too often.  

I had a PT apt this morning. She is great.  Jake and Holly love her so they went to the door to greet her. Jake turned to go down the hall.  I told him to get back in and he did.  

Then brother comes to help with his honey dos. Then we were off to doctors appointment. We left the same time another lady was leaving!  She said we were both "escaping"!  I told her mine wasn't fun. A Drs apt.  She was off to Merle Norman. I had no idea they were still around!  

Went to Drs apt. My favorite nurse was there. Doctor comes in. Dressed in pressed scrubs. Normally in a nice tie.  Had a good visit.  Down to do labs. Gal had just burned microwave popcorn. Wowser. Smokey!  They took microwave outside.  

Next stop was to pick up brothers wife. I have known her for years. She is a lovely lady.  We went to dinner.  Had a lovely dinner. Brother wanted bread pudding for desert   not ready. Then back to Shady Oaks. She got to meet Jake and Holly.  She has already met Hollywhen brother took her to vet.   She got to see the product of all those Amazon packages that were delivered to their door!  

Then they were off to buy a computer for pastor.  

When we got to the door had three boxes. I had to explain two were gifts. Only one was mine!  Brother has access to my Amazon account and can see what I buy!  He called me one day wanting to know why I was buying a heater. I said not to fret. Amazon wishlist item for Family Elder care. 

Yesterday brother took me to library for a library card. He had helped me get an address change on my DL. I had renewed just before I decided to move.

walker👑, agree about the coffee.  It better not taste like warm water.  Strong and black for me!  I think  the Kirkland brand at Costo is perfect  - prices up but well worth it. 

kittyfan, what a day you had!  Glad you got to go to lunch with brother and wife. No Bread Pudding!  For shame🤔  I absolutely love Bread Pudding.  We used to go to Las Vegas a lot and one of the Hotels had the best Bread Pudding - so we went more often just to get their Bread Pudding😋  Lots of boxes delivered to your door - oh boy!

DS and SO will be back at the house today.  They love to drive all over and check out restaurants and new places they haven't yet seen in Texas.  Not my cup of tea but enjoy them immensely!  I am still stuck with Sciatica and cannot sit for a long time.  I took my little pillow with me to the salon while I got a manicure - helped a lot.   DS and SO took me and went off to places unknown.  Picked me up and we did some errands. 

Tootie,hope your insomnia is going away.  Need sleep especially after enjoying the Littles.  Enjoy the nice weather.  We will be 75 again.
