Good morning ~

Got up and turned on the computer - but.................... no interrnet!!!😫  We have lousy interrnet and internet companies from which to choose.  The one we have have the least amout of problems.  We are considered the boondocks so there are problems with anything technical.  No problems with our satellite though.  

After waitig 4 hours for AAA to give us a reason why no one showed up, we decided to do it another day.  I have to rely on DD and her work schedule for any kind of appointments.  I will be calling and re-scheduling my doctor appointments for September - need to keep up so I can still receive my meds.  I am so done with all this😕😒😫  DD has 3 car keys and two need re-programming$$$, the other is manual and makes a terrible security type noise when you unlock he door.  What a mess.  Like a snowbal rolling down hill on steroidsl!!!

walker, I forgot to tell you that I did try the new Cheerios - UGH  CARDBOARD!  SIL and DD tried it too and then we trashed it.  This is only our opinion and some may like it.  Good idea about SCC  setting up a fabulous lunch at kittyfan's new digs.   

Tootie, I hope you are feeling much better.  Remember - Velveeta makes things better!😊

It's Wednesday!  I thought I would wake up to sunshine but instead it is thunder, some dark clouds with sun rising as well....strange all together.  Hopefully, rain passes quickly.  I need to get to store....out of coffee...just enough for today.  🙀

Sorry we don't see Tootie yet.  Hope today is better and we hear from her soon.  🌼🌸🌺💐...for Tootie...GET WELL!  We miss you.

cookie, speaking of dark clouds, one is hanging over you there!  I know it is not funny but your description was..."like snowball rolling down a hill on steroids".😆  Hope today is better for you too! 

Cardboard Cheerios....ugh...were they the Honey-Nut Medley Crunch ones?  Those I do like but I noticed there are about a dozen new boxes of Cheerios out now.  Oh well, back to your basic Cheerios!

Checking in from shady oaks

Wowser. Went to breakfast this morning. A lady joined the table. She got a call.  Said it was her boyfriend. Well I could hear her part of conversation. Wanted to take things slow!!!

Well she ends call.  Another lady asked for details. Met him on FB dating. She was excited about this. Personally a dating interest is not on my radar.  One and done for me 

Yesterday I got a HC at the salon. Lovely lady she did a very good job took her time. Said she lost her partner. She said she stays very busy with lots of standing appointments

Got back and was surprised to get a call from my "brother". I had just seen FB pics from Paris. Heading to Netherlands

When I answered phone I said " good afternoon". He laughed and said it was 10 pm there with time difference. Said he considered calling me another day but realized it was 3 am my time!!!   Told me about some of the characters on their tour.

I didn't expect to hear from him but knew he had international calling.  I asked if weather was cold as all pics he was wearing a jacket. He is always cold.  Said he was prepared. Packedhis thermals!

Finally got my TV back on line yesterday

The gal who helps loves Hollyhock. Holly just loves her too.  Jake tried to push her aside!

Cookie:  I also have AAA. But the last two times I needed service used HONK. Yes you have a charge. But respond quickly. You get a call with ETA. Then you get a call from provider. I was pleased with this service.

Hello friends ... thanks ladies, I am finally feeling better ... sorry cookie, I could not eat any VELVEETA (I'll save that for another day 😉) I must have had some kind of a 24 hour bug, but boy did it hit me ... "like a Mack truck" or two!

kittyfan, it sounds like you have some fun characters at Shady Oaks ... all the more to add to your book! ... laughed at the woman with her BF that she met online 😲 ... glad that you got your haircut and were happy ... lots of amenities where you are!!

cookie, I hope you can get your car issues and changing of the appointments taken care of ...

walker, hope you were able to get out for you coffee ... we've been in a sunny and dry spell for a while ... it's supposed to last until Tuesday ...

kittyfan, I am enjoying the reports from Shady Oaks...new book beginning!  Really funny about lady and BF.  New characters for us to enjoy through you.  Meals may need to improve but glad you got a good haircut.  Isn't it nice having the convenience of everything there?  Your brother is such an Angel calling you from abroad.

cookie, hope you get some good news about your car...soon!  It is hard to be without our "wheels".  You may not go out everyday but, when you want to, you want your car ready to go!

So glad you are better Tootie. Glad to see you back - now SCC is complete!

Would you believe, we are still waiting for AAA to arrive since we called Monday😣😣 DD called everyday, every hour and got differing stories as to why.  Mad is not the word for this.  They are supposed to be a service company!!!  We may have to just use a local tow truck company and pay for it.  This is uncalled for and wait until they ask us for a review!!!  Boy they will sure get one!!!😖😖😡😡🤯 

Enjoying your "new" book kittyfan.  You already have met some characters.  Looking forward to more chapters.
