Good Afternoon Friends!  ☕️🍂🍁....🦃

Home Sweet Home!  Returned early this morning...🥱....7AM flight out of Raleigh, NC.  We returned from beach last night.  Then DD and I stayed at a hotel by airport.  My friend wanted us to stay at her place but not with such an early flight!  Bad enough we were getting up at 5AM!  Worked out fine.  We were all tired when we returned from beach anyway.  It was a great trip!!!  Lots of fun catching up....DD with her friend and her mom and me too.  We have not seen each other in several years but picked up where we left off.  DD's friend is a riot!!  Makes me laugh all the time.  Certainly ate and drank a lot!  Need detox now.  DH happy I am home....too lonely...no one to talk to...ha!!  

Glad you are all doing ok....trying to catch up but I am really tired.  Loved story about LG and LS in leaves...such fun.  kittyfan, bet it won't be long before new guy at Cafe is brought up to speed about "who's who"...you being VIP!

cookie, hope your UBs help recharge you.  I have more problems adjusting in Spring than Fall to time change. Today I am TIRED period from go, go, go!  Tootie, hope your check-up was good.  Did you mention shots and reactions?

All for now.....definitely need a UB today!  I'm missing the ocean too....withdrawal....😫.

Hello friends ... welcome back walker!! glad you had a fun trip ...

My doctor visit went well ... I knew my cholesterol was a little high but he was not concerned ... "watch your diet and exercise a little bit more" ... I did mention my reaction to shots and he said he knows of a couple people that that happens to you ... he said it's just the way my body reacts to it. He understands me not wanting to get the flu or booster but suggested maybe think about just getting the flu shot (afraid that LG/LS could bring something home from daycare) and said it would be really bad if I got sick with the flu or Covid at the same time ... so now that's something to ponder about ... 🤷‍♀️

Finally able to log on.

Walker welcome home. Hotel for a n early flight grest idea.

Went to TS. Did a pike of mens shirts and pants.

Nurse Brenda and Katid we Orting st another table. I look up yo see Kayid in s bucket of clothes. I think she lost her balance. Everyone looking no one ran go assist. I did call David over. He is a long term volunteer fire fighter do between Nurse Brdnda and hus h e lp she was up. I have always been concerned about the hazards. Too much stuff. Clothing racks, roses etc. I almost I still got tangled in a clothing rack. Managed to grab table. They got her up and she was fine. I told her she was fortunate to fall in a tub of clothing.

Left TS headed to pharmacy. Attempts to transfer scripts didn't work. Long line i. I didn't need one item. They kept pushing it b hello I hadn't picked it up as I didn't need it.

Disliking early nightfall.

Good news on your doc visit Tootie. Sounds like he's a good one.  I agree about the shots - others may brring in germs, etc. - that's one reason I got them.

kittyfan, sorry about Kayid in the bucket.  Glad she finally got some help.  Too much stuff is right.  And, yes she was fortunate to fall int a bucket of clothes.  Issues with Pharmacy - yuck!

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I snickered when you said Katie fell into a bucket of clothes ... not because she fell but that could be another episode for Lucy and Desi (feet sticking out of tub kicking back and forth 😁)... glad she was ok though ... ugh, more issues with the pharmacy? doesn't it make you wonder why everything has to turn into a big hassle?? nothing seems to be easy anymore ...

Happy Tuesday!  🇺🇸 VOTE! 🇺🇸  Speak now!  The whole country needs help!  We will be voting this morning too, Tootie.  I have heard lines have been long already at the early voting sites.  People are fed up with direction of the country.  Or, maybe they like things as they are ...🙄...well, whatever....VOTE! 🇺🇸  No vote...No complaints.

OK, off my soap-box....back to coffee with friends! 👍 cookie, thank you for cute greeting.  And, I thought about you as I woke up today regarding time change.  I am so confused.....Thursday I was on Central time...then I flew to Eastern time....then Saturday night we went back an hour...then yesterday I went from Eastern to Central time.  I'm a confused mess..😂.  I went to bed at 8PM last night...so tired ....woke up at 5:30AM....🥱.

kittyfan, lucky your co-worker was ok at TS.  Not funny but was funny thinking of what Tootie said about the Lucy episode!  That would be Lucy....Desi smacking his head saying few choice words...haha.

Tootie, glad doctor visit went well.  My cholesterol is always a bit high too but I've avoided the meds....same type advice....diet, exercise....problem is now we are entering the coldest season and it is hard to get out to walk or bike.  I'm not a gym person either.  I did get my flu shot but always take the regular one...not the senior dose...guess I have a mental problem with anything "extra".  

I better get going.....so good to be back with the SCC!

Ha. It would have been a LUCY move!!!! She is older than I am. Always wears shorts. I didn't see her go down but I saw her face down with legs askew. She was fine chatting about it but it was scary.

Hi there.....oh, we sure could write a book on Lucy episodes, right kittyfan?  We will have to remember the "laundry bucket episode"...😂.

I fell asleep during my UB today...wondering how many days it will take me to get back on schedule here...ha!  Old and slow...!  Just trying to keep up with DD in airport was fast track and exhausting...ha!

DH and I went to vote and it was IN and OUT!  No lines..no problem but early voting sites have had long lines.  I guess ...thanks to early voters...no problem for us.  👍

Nice to have you back walker.  It's officially walker Wednesday!  Is it Wednesday?  WIth all the time changes you went through, it will be  amazing if you can remember what day it is🤣 I know one was enough for me, and it's  still hard for me to remember what day it is🤔😫 UB's and G'ma's Meds to the rescue!

Tootie, great idea for Lucy and Desi!  Maybe Desi will push Lucy into the bucket😧🤣😂 Fun with SCC!
