Happy Saturday!  Let the sun shine in....another pretty day here.  DH and I have to clean and clear the deck today!  Pack it up for another season....grill too...😟.

I got my flu shot yesterday.  When I went in I commented that I always get the regular shot.  Nurse smiled and said "I see the doctor has noted that in your chart."....HA!  Don't mess with me!  My doctor is probably happy I just show up for the shot period!  😆  I don't understand about reactions and being immune or not.  It seems like it would be the other way around.  Darn...I was with two doctors last weekend...I should have asked them!

Dinner last night went well....simple...right up my alley..ha!

We enjoyed being together and catching up.  They head to Florida soon where they have a condo ....fortunately, condo ok after hurricane.

Tootie, sorry that LS is not feeling well.  Hope she gets better soon.  At least she is eating and playing...good signs.  cookie, I share the printer frustrations...hope DS got it working for you again.  Middle of night call for him in CA...yikes!  Did he go to bed after?  Speaking of bed, kittyfan, I hope you are starting to get a little more sleep.  I don't like driving at night either.  Recently our church started a new ladies group.  When do they meet? AT NIGHT!  Why?  Most of the women who would attend are probably seniors....maybe not....I did not go anyway.

Well, time to refill my ☕️....first cup was best with you! 😊

DS was late - his doc's apppointment stretched into a follow up this morning.  We got it done later and it works!  The reeason:  the printer won't print if one or both ink cartridges are empty.  My color was out and the B/W was 1/2 full.  Amazon here I come!

Now for a UB.  DS certainly deserves one!  I won't drive at night either!  Especially in TX which I am totally no familiar with anything outside my city.  Homebody old lady with a cat🤣🤣

cookie, happy to hear you are back in the printing business!!  I never knew the status of cartridges could cause a problem!  I will check ours....think our black is low....seems like we go through a lot of cartridges!!!  Amazon here I come too...ha.

Well, part way through deck project ....taking UB...then DD sends message she forgot to tell me GD has soccer game this afternoon.  Game is close and weather is great so off we go to that....deck can wait.

Good day all around...,printer and LS is bit better..and GD played really well in game....she is fast and defends.  She was in most of game and then got pulled to rest.  They ended up in tie game.  In my opinion, with young kids, everyone wins! 😁..Grandma Rules...LOL!

Glad you were able to make your GD's game walker.  Your opinion is one I subscribe to as well.  WIth young kids everyone wins.  I love kids Soccer and went to many many games.  Oldest GD is still very involved with Soccer and loves FC!⚽

Tootie, how is LG?  Now that her teeth popped she must feel better and just in time for Halloween Trick or Treating.  Candy corn teeth 😃  

Dogs were somewhat calm yesterday - keyword:  somewhat.  Of course DD and SIL were home doing things so they were followed around (sometimes called "helping")  by 7 nosey and fairly quiet dogs. I UB'd and  printed a lot of the back up docs - sure felt great!  Poor DS, he and his SO have decided to let their beautiful  much loved Shiba Inue dog cross the Rainbow bridge.  They have had her  for years and took her everywhere they went.  Even restaurants (DS and SO are Galloping Gourmets) loved seeing her and made her special dishes on occasion.  she hasn't been up to par and loves the beach.  I'm sure they will take her for a last run/slow walk in the surf.  😥💔💕

Good morning friends ... cookie, glad you were able to get your printing job done ... or should I say continued?? ... it sounds like your DS/SO know it is time to let their beloved dog go ... that can't be an easy decision ... thoughts to them!

walker, good news on your GD's team!! and kudos to her for playing so well!! ... now today you get to finish up your deck cleaning ...

LS was still a bit down last night when we saw her although DS/DIL said she was much perkier then she has been! ... she would play for a while and then go to grandpa to cuddle her ... LG was full of energy and full of chatter ... I love how he tells us what he does at "school" ... he's still not happy with his dinosaur "head"/hat so I guess he'll be a "headless" dinosaur ... hahaha!!

We'll have another sunny 63 degree day ... I'm getting too used to this warmer weather ...

Happy Sunday!  We might have some rain moving in today.  Like you, Tootie, I am really getting used to the nice temperatures we have been experiencing.  It has been a nice Fall.  Sounds like that will continue into this week.  I'll take it all the way until Thanksgiving.  😊🤞🤞

cookie, always so sad to hear stories about special pets nearing end of life.  😢 If you love a pet, you face it. 😢 I'm sorry for your DS and SO.
