Good morning ~

I took the advice of our illustrious Queen and took a long UB.  Still tired from all the documenting and researching.  Another UB this afternoon will be necessary😊  We are climbing up the temps again - 98+  More paperwork - it isn't going away.  I got a lot of it done yesterday though.

Tootie, thank you for the teriffic description of the farewell ending for the Queen.  I also missed.  I am going to Google it so I can see it.  What a lovely celebration for a lovely woman.

We'll have a 61 degree day (which is where we are right now) I know it's Fall but the temps dropped rather quickly!! Mother Nature at her finest!!

HAPPY FALL TO ALL!  Love the bright greetings here cookie and Tootie!!  It is definitely a cooler morning.  I have noticed on my walks recently that some trees are starting to change colors.  🍁🍁🍁

Happy Thursday it will be starting with Kahlua and Mimosas....enjoy both but better stick with ☕️ right now.

My appliances are scheduled to be delivered at end of next week, Tootie.  I have heard about so many being on back order.  In fact, one I picked out was backordered for at least 90 days.  No thanks!  When I want it...I want it! 😂

Went out to dinner with friends last night.  One of our favorite restaurants relocated.  What a disappointment!

Food was ok but new restaurant not the same...Italian place that used to have great ambiance...not much now.  We think they relocated due to financial problems (thank you Covid).

No plans for today....DH going out to lake house to cut the lawn (about 2 hours away)  so better get him going....I'll be putzing around here.....have a nice day, Desi! 😆 Lucy will too! 😉

Hello friends ... walker, what a shame about that restaurant ... unfortunately, I've read that a lot of places moved or just shut down ... IMO, not pointing fingers or blaming anyone but I think these times have turned into no one wants to work anymore ... they want the money but don't want to earn it!! it's a sad, sad world we live in ...

Glad to hear that you don't have to wait forever to get your new appliances ...

Hi all......Fall has moved in quickly but at least we had some sunshine....maybe it will come your way tomorrow, Tootie.  Quiet day here..😊..Desi made it back....enjoyed his fresh air in country....good day...no deer!  He did say he saw a couple on side of road...😟.   Fall...running deer...watch out!!!

walker, sorry to hear about your favorite restaurant reocating and the lack of ambiance.  At least the food was still good.  Maybe it will come back again.  Sad that so many businesses are going out or relocating in these tough times.  Glad you don't have to wait long for your new appliances. At least someone is working. 

Tootie, I agree - it seems that no one wants to work  which makes it very hard for  business.  It is a sad world we live in.  Whatever happened to earn your keep and be proud of it???

Finally caught up on some overdue UB's.  It was uncomfortably hot yesterday and warm bodies aren't my thing.  Went to bed early and woke up to what I thought was morning .  Looked at the clock which said 6:25.  I thought it was am and jumped out of bed  only to find out it was pm which was a huge relief.  Gave me a scare - must keep up with my routine🤔😣😊  Manicure today and thankfully no errands.  UB's here I come!

We're supposed to have a sunny but cool day ... high of 58! We have to start thinking about putting away our summer outdoor "knick knacks" and such ... this might be a good day to start ...

Happy Friday!  I'm wondering where kittyfan is too...hopefully, all is ok with her and we will hear something today.  

cookie, I had to chuckle reading your message where you had been sleeping and woke up at 6:25.  I thought....WOW...cookie slept until 6:25?  😆 Guess not!!

Same weather here today, Tootie.  We have to think about cleaning up garden, cut down those hosta stalks, etc., too. This time of year...take advantage of every nice day!!  That means grilling as well!  I did buy a couple mum plants for front this week.  Usually I buy more but decided to keep it simple...plus, like everything else...$$$...and in a month the frost hits them and bye-bye!

Saw a post here that today is National Pot Pie Day....yum...might be time to pick up what I need to make one soon....love Chicken Pot Pie!  Anyone else?
