Hi there.....kittyfan, sorry about your CC trouble.  It seems like we hear more of these happening everyday!  What a shame!  Good thing CC companies make it easier for you.

I should try to get to our Italian restaurant more often.  Reminds me of you at Cafe, kittyfan.  I am concerned because I think they are struggling with help.  Our waiter said two waitresses quit.  The owner is not young but trying to keep things alive. Her mother, now deceased, was instrumental in keeping the old world Italian traditions alive.    I think they do a good business especially on weekends.  But, I think owner is trying to sell.

No news....very windy today...did walk...or, make that blew around neighborhood...ha!  Tomorrow's weather is not suppose to be good.  Look out Tootie...wind coming your way!

Restaurants are a tough business. In our area help is lacking. I know the restaurant we had book club at hD one wait person. Owners in the kitchen.

I had difficulty with the CC when I was trying to pay for. Meds. Changed methods. Didn't know there were issues. I only carry my gas catdand one other with me.

kittyfan, I think almost every restaurant is having difficulties with little or unreliable employees.  So sad and I hope things are okay with the Cafe.  Hard to find a restaurant with good food and servers.  I did see something and thought of you - a Busy Bee Cafe in Atlanta!!!😁🥰😊 CC problems are not fun!😣

Glad you got a "blow around" yesterday walker.😄 I read that the Chicago area will have snow all day today.  Lucky you 😒 Sad to hear your favorite restaurant is struggling.  I loved the bumper cars too.  All time favorite was the Roller coasters.  Couldn't even think of doing that now..

Tootie, hope you got to open your windows yesterday - I am envious as we can't open ours too much due to pollen and dust.  Enjoy the fresh air. We will be a little cooler today - 67 with chances of some rain and wind.  Crazy weather!

Good morning friends ... cookie, I did get my windows opened up for a little while yesterday ... ahhhh, fresh air!! ... enjoy your weather today ... we'll have a 52 degree day but with all day rain and high winds ... whatever weather walker has, we usually get the next day here ... I have my own meteorologist!! 😂

kittyfan, ugh! more CC problems ... but I like that the companies can let us know that there is an issue with them ... hope all works out for you ... your comment about the Fish Fry got me to thinking if our Firehall will be having one this year ... I'll have to check on line.

walker, it was a nice day for a walk besides it being windy ... I hope that your restaurant can keep afloat ... even if it sells.

I have to babysit this morning ... DS has an appointment ... running shoes are ready!!

Happy Thursday!  As soon as I read cookie's message about open windows, I said..."darn, forgot".  I guess I got busy with other things...out and about in morning and got my fresh air blowing around neighborhood on walk...haha!

Today cooler with snow coming...mixed with ice, I guess.  The worst of it will be south of us.  Hope it wears out before reaching your area tomorrow, Tootie. Laughed at meteorologist comment...Ha!  If I was on TV, everyone would be confused!  💨Look here...whoa windy💨hold onto your hat....we have raindrops☔️ oops..no snow.❄️..well, it doesn't matter...you will be wet...stay home...take a UB....oh, I see sun...but, cloudy...cold south...warm up here...is that north?  Hey, everyone, look outside....figure it out yourself...I need a UB! 🤣

Tootie, I read my online church bulletin and it said the Fish Fry will start again this year.  Now...what do I do..we haven't been back to church but I show up at Fish Fry? 🥴

Supposedly, our mask mandate will be lifted at end of Feb here.  Maybe we will get back...we'll see.  I don't like doing take-out because by time I get home the dinner has cooled off...just not same.

OK....enough babbling from me......have fun with LG and LS, Tootie.  Morning is good time to babysit...home for an afternoon UB.  👍

Hello friends ... I'm in between my UB's ... hahaha!! ... I stayed a little longer at DS after he got home so I could play with LG and entertain LS ... LG was up at 6am and asked to go down for his nap at 11ish ... DS said he lets them know when he is tired before his normal bedtime too!! ... he went right down and we didn't hear a peep out of him.

walker, I checked on the Fire Halls website and they are having the fish fry beginning on Ash Wednesday ... we are only 5 minutes away from the hall so we always bring ours home ... our church still has the mask mandate and I'm not sure when they will lift it ... I'm still on the fence about returning ... Covid has really changed things but I'm still really disappointed and mad about the way our Diocese has (not) handled abuse cases and just swept them under the rug for many years ... I do enjoy sitting at home watching it on TV ... not the same as being there (and no communion) but I do feel like I went to Mass ...

I laughed at your meterologist run down of the weather ... hahaha!!

Hi friends....winter weather did move in this afternoon but not as bad as other areas....heard salt trucks out....we had light snow.  Being in hibernation, I just stick my head out 🐻..don't like what I see and return to my cave! 😆

Tootie, glad you had good time with LG and LS...so nice to be able to help out...and, I know always appreciated. I LOVE good nappers!  👍LG!  Extra points!  I agree with you 100% about church...handling of abuse cases, etc.  I enjoy the peacefulness of my own home for Sunday Mass on TV too......I think I get more out of it...minus communion.  Amazing how we switched gears so well...and it works fine!  Glad you are so close to your Fire Hall Fish Fry!  We are probably 15 minutes away....unless I drive...much faster...haha!

Good evening. We had a front blow in. Expecting a freeze tonight. Up and down temps. Dressing is a challenge. I know fish is best hot. But I understand the crowds too. I continue caution.

LG is a fella after my heart. Tired is tired. Knows he needs a snooze.

I enjoy virtual church also. I have a several I follow and get something from each.

Today was dominos. Six of us. Lots of laughs.

How fun for you Tootie!  Being with the kidlets and LG asking to nap!!!  What a guy.  He know's when he's tired and now is a good time as any to introduce him to UB's😄  How is LS coming with her "rolling"?😊 Step one in how to crawl and be all over the place.  I'll bet she is adorable too!🎀

walker, sounds like COTC will become a full time Church experience with all the COVID still around.  If I were so inclined, I would definitely do the COTC - more comfortable.  Sad and angry about the non handling of the abuse in the Churches  Seems to have been going on for a long time.  Laughing about your drivng to the Fish Fry a little bit faster😄

kittyfan, I am enjoying the cooler weather but the up and down temps are challenging as you said.  I haven't been cold yet - 58 today sounds good to me.  Fun with dominos and lots of laughs.

I have an ENT appointment this morning. Good thing they texted me a reminder as I forgot to make a written list of appointments for the month  by my computer.  Woke up sneezing and a nose that won't quit running. Oh joy allergy? At least it's not hot and humid - I am thankful for that.

walker, our temps dropped from 50 to 30 later last night ... rain turned to ice and we got about 2 inches of snow on top of that ... it's still snowing now ... so glad I don't have to go out ...
